Reviews in Tampa Bay to Install Interior Trim & Decorative Molding

It went very well. It wasn't a easy job. The old Soffit & Fascia was glued to the dental trim molding... He hand cut around the dental trim.... Super nice guy!

He did a great job. Very neat, very professional. When I wanted some more work done, he didn't have time for a couple of months, so I did have someone else do some work on a bathroom. I would like to have Larry do some more work around the house, when I can mesh our budget and his schedule.

I couldn't find the width of trim molding I needed at any of the big box stores so I stopped at North Rome Lumber. They didn't have the right width either but I found the profile I wanted and they ripped the molding to the right width for me. No extra charge. I had been all over town and in 15 minutes I had precisely what I needed. This is a locally owned and operated lumber company that I've frequented for years. They do some millwork and have all kinds of molding. I always find what I want there. I don't know why I didn't go there first. It's the best kept secret in Tampa.

Logan was extremely professional and arrived on time. He performed all of the requested services in a meticulous fashion, with great attention to detail. I was extremely pleased with the finished result of each project. He came by ahead of time and reviewed each request and then provided me with a written estimate for tabor charges and materials. Overall I was extremely pleased. As a final example, for a broken door handle that he couldn't repair, he called the manufacturer and arranged for a new mechanism to be provided by them to fix the problem - way above and beyond what we had discussed.

Logan was very prompt in answering our inquiry for service, and he provided a detailed estimate of materials and labor required to do the job. He and his assistants showed up on time on the scheduled day, performed the work with skill and care, and cleaned up and carried away all debris related to the job. The invoice was professionally prepared and matched what we expected to pay based on the estimate. Two weeks after the job was completed, I asked Logan for some documentation to show that the door we purchased had an Energy Star rating. He contacted the manufacturer on our behalf and provided the documentation quickly.

Crown Molding Now
This is the third time that we have hired Todd to do interior trim work in our home. He is not afraid to do custom work so that the job can be completed as desired such as removing wall tile, scribing boards to fit in tight places or around abutments and other features. He never complains and just does what is required to accomplish the task. It seems that things are not always as straight-forward and easy as they first appear. But this does not ruffle Todd's feathers at all. He is a very polite and personable gentleman who does not make us feel uncomfortable while in our home. He carries around a portable vacuum to clean up debris in each area when complete. Todd is knowledgeable, fast and neat. He also pays attention to detail. The only thing that he leaves behind is quality work! This is the type of craftsman that we Angie's List members are looking for when we join.

I contacted Tony via phone and he came out the following week to do the job. He arrived on time and stayed the whole day until the job was finished. He even crowned a vaulted portion of our kitchen which we did not think could have crown molding on it. It looks fantastic. He did an excellent job with the seams & all the angle cuts are near perfect. We would use Precision Interior Trim again, (and plan to). We are going to have Tony do some baseboard and window trim for the next job. You can hire Tony with confidence that the job is going to get done right. Once again Tony showed up on time & spent approx 4 full 8 hour days to complete the job. There is a reason his company is called Precision. His work is near flawless. He was able to match the window & door trim to the trim that was already in the house (1924 Spanish home).

Mr. Honey-Do
They arrived on time for the two days they were at the house. My brother and I constructed the wall in the garage to separate the laundry area but wanted to have the finish work done by professionals. Mr. Honey-Do was a smart choice. The work required two separate days to allow for dry time of the plaster coats. I am very happy with the results and would hire again for future work. Upon further review, I did spot unfinished work in the attic. It was hidden during the first review but I checked the attic wiring later. The rolled insulation was rolled up to install the light but they never put the insulation back in place. Also the wiring was not fastened correctly to the attic floor but instead just left laying haphazardly around the attic floor. I would not expect these two failures from a professional electric contractor.

Can not say enough good things about Lisa and her staff. Professionals to the max. Very high quality work in all areas, every day made significant progress and cleaned up at the end of the day (we were not even present but had condo management and neighbors checking in on and they were all super impressed). We live in an older building so there have been many, many renovations (ours is the second one, previous owners did in 2006) so management at condo has seen a lot of renovations and said some of the best work they have seen - and so prompt and professional. We were not even present and are two extremely busy professionals and Lisa managed to keep us in the loop and the job was done smoothly and on time. We could not be happier with the outcome.

He was absolutely on time 9:00am sharp! He stayed until aboug 3:30 ish until the job was complete. His price is highly competitive and the results are great! He and his wife work together and they're absolutely adorable! He KNOWS what he's doing! Only "don'ts" is that he doesn't have a truck designed to haul. I had to rent the Home depot truck to bring the doors to the house and was responsible to remove the old ones to the trash. But, that is how he keeps his price down and I'd much rather do my own hauling than have it built in to a much higher price for the actual work and remodeling. I have him coming back in a couple of weeks to install new track lighting in my old fashioned bathroom. Can't wait!!

Larry is terrific! He fixed everything on my list in a very professional manner and even completed a couple of extra tasks that I found while he was here. He arrived on time, had all the materials required, including some materials that he purchased in advance for the door frame and sealing the front door. He saved me money on a celing light/fan fixture in our bathroom by giving me some advice instead of replacing the whole unit. I would definitely recommend Larry to anyone, and will ask him back for any future fixes!

James was on time both days and was meticulous with his works. All three projects came out beautiful. We would definitely use this company again.

Coastal Living Remodelers
Coastal Living is an outstanding company to work with, and I would recommend to anyone. I was helping to renovate my mother's house in FL, while she stayed with family in the area. Because I live in NY, all of the work had to be coordinated by phone/email. While going through the scope of work and design process, Tim was very responsive and offered great suggestions regarding what we wanted to accomplish. All of the finishes and final layout were decided over the phone. Tim and Glenn worked closely with my mother to make sure all of the work met her satisfaction, and helped answer any questions she had. They were very responsive, and very accommodating. This is the same with all of the subcontractors they hired during the renovation. Their standard of quality is also very high, as shown in their completed work. The schedule was longer than first anticipated, but was communicated during the process. We have already hired Coastal Living for another project, and look forward to working with them more in the future. Great company!

G & H Services
We hired this contractor to do what we believed were simple repairs and rennovations at our house. One door (our main door) was purchased by him AND painted, only to discover when he finally tried to hang the door that the hinges didn't line up (so it wasn't the right door). That's currently leaning unused in our garage (along with the lock we also had to pay for). The side garage door he installed was okay, but the lock line up on the trim that he also rebuilt was not done correctly (per a home inspector we had to hire for the roof problems he caused). But the real nightmare is the damage he caused to our roof truss system when he installed what was suppose to be a simple attic walkway above the garage area. We hired the home inspectors to check the integrity of the work and the report states that our attic could collapse at any time now because this contractor cut pie-shaped wedges (I've attached photos of his handiwork) into three consecutive roof trusses (trusses needed for the support of our roof system) while installing the walkway. This was how he resolved accomodating the house wiring! We now have a damaged roof system heading into hurricane season in Florida. and are now scrambling to find someone who has the time during this very busy season to repair it before everything collapses. Although he has a Building Contractor's license with the county, it's clear he doesn't know what he's doing. I would not use this contractor for even the simplest task.

Recent Review: I approached this project with some trepidation being it was such a massive overhaul of my home, but the professional, meticulous work of Alfonsi Construction quickly alleviated all of my concerns. I had initially intended to use them for only some of the work I was having done, but I soon realized I had struck gold with this company and knew these were the only people I wanted to work with. Dean Alfonsi, the man in charge, was straightforward and accommodating. He readily agreed to complete the project in stages with a few intermittent breaks, which kept me from feeling overwhelmed. I feel it is important to stress at this point that when you hire Alfonsi Construction you don?t get a crew that Dean Alfonsi sends out ? you get Dean Alfonsi himself. He does all the work with his assistant, Billy, and one other individual on occasion. Dean and Billy do remarkable work in an efficient and timely manner and clean up the area at the end of the day. The workers Dean sub-contracted to install the tile work were of the same high caliber, and so were the individuals he recommended to me for the plumbing and electrical work that was needed. Dean isn?t satisfied with the work until he knows you?re satisfied. At one point I was a bit disappointed with an aspect of the tile work but decided to accept it. Dean took me aside as told me if I wanted it redone he?d tell the installers to redo it, and that?s what he did. He discovered a small leak on the installation of a bathroom sink and contacted the plumber directly to arrange for it to be corrected ? that?s how concerned with your complete satisfaction Dean is. Dean was always happy to go the extra mile. He accepted and implemented some revisions to my plans without trouble or complaint. If the cost was affected the revised charges were always easily negotiated and very reasonable. He didn?t hesitate to throw in a few extras too. I had another contractor build and install my kitchen cabinets and upon completion some of the trim was found to be loose and poorly installed. Dean corrected the problem and did an excellent job at no additional charge, even though the problem wasn?t his responsibility to fix. In addition to all that, Dean is absolutely, 100% reliable. When he says he?ll be there, he?ll be there. One of my sisters had an addition built on her home and the contractor she hired would disappear for days at a time (without explanation) to work other jobs. That never happens with Dean. If he?s going to be away a day or two he lets you know well in advance so you can schedule your own time accordingly ? there?s never any unexplained absences. I have no doubt that I?ll be using Dean?s services again in the future. I?m delighted to recommend Alfonsi Construction for any home projects you may have in mind. I?m glad I used them, and I?m certain you will be too!

What do customers in Tampa say about Interior Trim Installation?

Greg and Nancy Ann are professional, hard working, friendly and helpful. They are the type of people one wants to work with on every project! After they did such a beautiful and professional job on the exterior of the house, we hired them again to paint the entire interior. This involved extensive prep work on the older house--stripping wallpaper, re-texturing walls, cleaning, patching, repairing, pressure washing in garage--and it all looks beautiful now. Ceiling, walls and doors look new due to the level of detail in their work. They made many extra repairs and very helpful suggestions. The house looks great and we are extremely pleased, and appreciate all their hard work.
