Gale Insulation
The initial contact and work was done extremely fast and the price was reasonable. We used a certificate from TECO to offset $200 and paid the remainder. After the work was completed they collected the certificate. Fast forward 6 weeks and we get a call from Gale stating that we own them $200.00!!! They had no records of the TECO certificate. We explained that the certificate was handed over to their employee when the work was completed. 2 weeks later we get a letter from a collection agency stating that we owed $200.00 We contacted TECO and they confirmed that Gale Insulation had indeed cashed in the certificate 2 weeks after the work was completed. Repeated calls to Gale were not returned. Its a shame that the good experience with by their installation team has turned sour by the atrocious behavior of their Account department.

I called for an estimate about 2 weeks ago and they came out within 5 days. The estimate was explained to me and I called to set an appointment for adding insulation above a new ceiling area that had none and adding more to areas with only R-11. My home is about 2000 sf., built around 1960. Loose insulation was also added to an outside wall that had little (or compacted down) The difference in (temperature) comfort was felt immediately. The company was very professional and finished the job in under 2 hours. I would use them again.

Bill Livingston Inc
Quite a bit of our garage ceiling fell along with , what seemed like, a ton of cellulose insulation . We called Bill Livingston and left a message. He returned our call promptly and came out to give a quote the same day. We accepted his quote and he started the work two days later. Our old ceiling does not meet the current code. It was built 31 years ago and I am surprised the ceiling has lasted this long. Bill replaced the part of the ceiling that fell with the correct sheet rock and screws. He also replaced the missing insulation with batt insulation. He finished the project in one day and left the area very clean. He also put Kilz on spots of the remaining ceiling. He and his employees were courteous and very knowledgeable. They did an amazing job. We would definitely hire him again.

Before the job was even started I was very impressed with the communication by this team of folks. Kevin and his crew showed up on time and got right to work. Our crawlspace is a very tight one and many workers we had come over refused to even go under for a look. I was pleased with the explanation of the work that was completed and how it will prevent moisture from getting into our home and causing our hardwood floors to buckle. Kevin also took many pictures of the underneath of the home so I can see what is going on under there. Overall my experience was pleasant and Kevin and his team were very professional and a pleasure to deal with.

I chose Keyso after having an FPL energy audit. They came on the day they said they would come, at the time they said they would come. The did a great job and went above and beyond in helping find attic access points, etc. They gave me the choice of how much insulation without trying to pressure me into the higher level. After I applied the FPL rebate ($150), my out of pocket cost to Keyso was $298. Would highly recommend.

Recent Review: I received a credit from TECO for $200 to install insulation in my attic. I called several companies on TECO's list and Gale insulation was the only one to actually call me back and schedule/keep an appointment. They arrived on time and completed the job in about 30 minutes. The techs were very friendly and explained everything they did. My attic space it tiny, but they were still able to crawl around up there and get everything done well. With the TECO credit the out of pocket cost was only $200.
