We contacted 3 pool companies when searching for a pool contractor to build us a pool. Roman was the only contractor who actually listened to what we wanted and quoted us exactly for the specifications that we provided him. He used all high quality items in his quote and was pleasantly surprised top of the line water pump and filter used. He came out to our location, viewed where the pool was to be constructed, measured everything out, drew a rough diagram of what we wanted, and turned around a quote quickly. We made several changes after viewing the quote and added some items and removed some items and Roman was able to make adjustments to the quote and quickly let us know the changes to the quote. We decided to go with 5 Star Pools because of the fact that Roman actually listened to what we want and how quickly he responded to our questions. Once construction started, we did run into some complications with the water table and a lot of extra work had to be accomplished. Once the pool was formed, the rest of the construction went smoothly and quickly. Roman and the project manager, Andy, were very accessible and returned calls quickly. Our pool looks amazing and we are enjoying every moment in it. We highly recommend using 5 Star Pools.

Trying To Think Handyman Services
Mr. Smith did not know what he was doing. Although he was pleasant, if it wasn't for my neighbor, the project would not have been done. In addition he left me to finish the job myself. and he charged me for the time he spent eating the lunch I fed him. A lot of time was wasted because he didn't know what he was doing and he was learning on my dime.

Eddie came by on a Saturday morning to give my wife and I a price on installing the landscape curbing. He showed us pictures from previous projects that he had completed and samples of the different colors available. I really liked Eddie right from the beginning. My wife and I got a good feeling from talking to him and thought his price was reasonable. Eddie's crew removed all the sod around our swimming pool screen enclosure and along our wooden fence in our backyard to create two big flower beds. We are very happy with the work and would recommend Eddie to anyone. He showed up when he said he would and always returned our calls promptly. I would like to get the curbing installed in the front yard sometime in the near future. My wife and I also plan on getting a price from Eddie on installing brick pavers on our swimming pool deck once were ready to have that work done.

Recent Review: Before we moved into the house we noticed the deck had cracked and seemed to be falling away from the house and the pool. The realtors had a guy come in and pump in hydraulic cement. It worked but only for awhile, and then the cracking resumed (after we refinished the deck, of course). Upon a recommendation of a friend we called Artistic Concrete Lifting. They came out and told us that just pumping in hydraulic cement was only doing half the job... in time the fill under the deck would continue to wash out... They told us that they would level the deck by jacking it and then would use hydraulic cement to permanently make sure the deck didn't move. They came out and carefully excavated under the deck and laid in multiple hydraulic jacks slowing lifting the deck until it was level and the cracks minimal. They then stabilized the jacks with cement and drilled into the deck and filled all cavities with hydraulic cement. The owner was there for the entire time and showed great care in how the operations were performed. They cleaned up afterwards... the deck has not budged since they performed their magic, and my neighbor just contracted with them to stabilize his deck. He too was impressed with the quality of their workmanship... 5 Stars!
