PGT AMERICAN CABINETS
On the positive side, the owner was very helpful with respect to selection of our new cabinets, and the installation crew that worked for him was top notch. Unfortunately, other things didn't go as well. It took them 3 successive orders and deliveries to get all the correct color pieces delivered, so a 4-6 week kitchen renovation turned into a 3 month project (and nobody checked to see they had the right materials before they showed up to install). Also their demolition and wallboard sub did such a poor job on the wallboard repair after removing the old cabinets and the old tile backsplash that our very experienced tile contractor struggled to get the new tile installed properly.

Barnhardt Construction did a great job. I have an awesome sturdy new deck that will last a long time. The new kitchen cabinet & countertops are beautiful, the plumbing was done right, they redid the rotten ramp off my back door so it is safe & will last, & no more hole in the floor by the side door. Chris always responded immediately to my texts, phone calls, & emails. The repair work was done in a timely manner & the crew was there when promised on time. They did awesome work & cleaned up afterwards. Chris, the owner was on hand & addressed any concerns that I had. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a quality contractor. I tried to hire a few other contractors before I found Barnhardt Construction & they blew me off after the estimate. Chris, the owner was there for me every step of the way. I am very pleased & happy with the work they did.

There si no story to tell. I reuested a quote to refurface my countertops and they arrived on time, took meaurements of my countertops, described the service that they provide and showed several samples of finishes that could be applied. She left a written quote for the job. Since they were here, we also discussed refinishing some of my bathroom tile. The quote provided was not entirely out of line, but my finances do not support the expenditure at this time. I am planning on using them, though.

QUITE GOOD. BILL MILLER WIFE CAME TO CONDO TAPED OFF AREA WITH PLASTIC CURTAINS. THEN COATED COUNTERTOP A DAY LATER. BILL CAME BACK AND PUT ON FINISH COAT. CAULKED ON THE 3RD DAY. ONLY TWO MONTHS OLD, BUT SO FAR VERY SATISFIED.

Installers were excellent. Only complaint is the space left between countertops and peninsula. It was 1.25 inches so we had to redo the wall to meet the counter. This wasn't discussed in advance.

Rodney is a true professional. He replaced my old laminate counter tops with solid surface and also replaced all cabinet hardware. Super Service Award Recent Review: On July 17, 2011, I purchased the Angie's list big deal for Kitchen remodeling from DSI. It was for the design. I contacted David Spence. He sent someone out to do the measurements, and show my husband & I samples of cabinets & countertops. David emailed me the plans, and estimate on August 2, 2011. It looked very good & we decided to proceed. On August 17, 2011, David came to our our house to go over the plans & contract, and to do final measurements. The estimated start date was September 26, 2011. The actual start date was September 19, 2011. All work was done on the time frame he had outlined on August 17. The only variable being how long it would take on the granite. All work was completed on September 30, 2011. Our new kitchen is beautiful, and we are completely satisfied.

Recent Review: First off, Tracey did an amazing job on our kitchen, and we couldn’t have been happier! We had him install granite countertops and a backsplash (and make some other updates as part of that). Our kitchen was outdated with a built in desk that was lower than the rest of the countertops and a bar height section of counter on the other side of the sink. We had him add an extension on top of the built-in desk and cut the wall down to lower the bar height section of countertop as part of the project. We received bids from several other contractors and most others wouldn’t even attempt to color match the cabinets for raising the desk area because they didn’t think they could get the color close enough. Tracey did it without hesitation and the 4” wide spacer he built matches perfectly. He also suggested countertop and backsplash style and a few other options like sink and faucets to help us with the design. The countertops were cut and installed with precision and look stellar. They were also able to do all the countertops with only one seam in the entire kitchen. Pricing was reasonable and Tracey delivered on all of his promises; I couldn’t have asked for more on this project. I will absolutely use Breakthru again for any future cabinet or countertop work and recommend them without hesitation.

Super Service Award Recent Review: I had installed some cabinets, but I didn’t want to do the countertop myself. So I had him come out and look at that. He was right on time. He was very knowledgeable and overall very helpful. His price was very reasonable too, but I didn’t go with him. I had decided on a countertop that I was going to buy, but then granite countertops came on sale and I went that way. Otherwise, I certainly would've gone with Jack O' Trades.

Recent Review: ,They showed up on time and put in a full day's work everyday. It was completed on time and on budget. - faster than expected, very important since we had no kitchen during the reno. They completed everything before the countertop went in in 7 days, and finished the rest 2 days after the counter was in. There was super attention to detail. They came back mid project to see if the current plumbing placement would work with the new sink, and fixed it when it wasn't. I was concerned about the backsplash tile layout (after having problems with a previous contractor). Mark's worker worked with me laying out all the tiles before starting, and then consulted several times when there were choices on how to align the tiles. They worked cleanly. They were very pleasant and cooperative. I would definitely use them again.

Recent Review: It went well. They did all the work in 4-1/2 days. They moved all the furniture, removed and hauled away the old carpet and tile and installed the new tile, and replaced all the furniture. They were honest and the material came in and they were able to install it in the time frame they quoted us. We were very happy with the results and would definitely use them again.

We called it to their attention, the owner came out and looked at it, and said they would replace it. They came and did replace the whole piece.
