.We agreed to the above plus he would do spring clean up and haul away trimmings , plus plant an Avacado tree in the back yard and spray weeds with vinegar mixture that I would purchase. He also said he would clean out the garage and assemble a shelf on the back porch where all the garage items would be stored. He would also collect a wooden desk that I gave him. The agreement was that I would trade him a new in the box gazebo (which was worth 5 or 6 hundred dollars) that I paid 2 or 250 for at Target at the end of the year. He wanted 200.00 for the garage and yard work, plus 30.00 and the desk for moving the garage junk to the porch. We had an agreement but nothing in writing. His wife got sick and he had to cancel the 1st two times we scheduled work. He showed up with his son on Friday Feb. 26th. without the threshold to fix the garage door or the sprayer for the vinegar solution. I suggested that he go get the items that he needed to complete the job, which he did and started over an hour late. He measured short for the fabric so I had to go buy 70.00 more fabric. They worked until around 2 o'clock and ask for tape to tape up the gazebo box, He said he would have to come back to finish the garage and what would be a good day for me. I mentioned that he had not finished the front where the old red mulch was beneath the front window or planted the Avocado. He said the mulch was red and what was he suppose to do with the old mulch. I explained that he could rake it up and put it in a garbage can, that I needed the fabric under it to stop the weeds, that was the whole purpose. He wasn't happy and said he could come back anytime and plant the Avocado. After giving him tape, I left for 5 minutes to find him getting ready to load the gazebo. I ask when he was coming back and he ask when it was convenient for me. I said Thursday and he said he couldn't do that, but he could come Saturday. Mind you I still have a a huge pile of mulch left on my driveway, trimmings and weeds in the square of red mulch beneath the window and flower pots, a stepping stone, and a metal bird holder left in my back yard to prevent mowing, when he rides off. He said he would return to finish the job on Sat. that he had to get his son home. That was around 2:30 pm. I called Saturday saying after the way he blew out of here with the gazebo, I was confused about the Saturday. Was it this Saturday or next Saturday. I called twice, no return call. My son called him and he phoned right back, saying that he had told me he would return on Sat. March 5 th. I waited for him all day on the 5th and left messages 3 times. I also sent him an email on Angie's List. Skipped Sunday, but called at 7:10 am Monday. I told him that I really needed to speak with him by the end of the day. I emailed him again today. His phone goes straight to voice mail. I started to phone the police as, to me, he has stolen my gazebo. This job is not finished. I hope you will handle this in the manner it deserves. You should never have someone like this on your list of vendors. You can certainly call me at home or leave a message for me to return your call. UPSET, DISTRESSED, ANGRY, UNHAPPY Angie's List customer!
