Terrible. They didn't know how to run the machine to re-texture the ceiling. The texture is inconsistent, there are cracks, the paint is streaky.

Jay and his partner did a great job. The ceiling stain-blocking, re-popcorning, and repainting blended extremely well with the rest of the ceiling. He also touched up an area in the upper level of the house. The toilet installation went well and he provided recommendations for future work in the bathroom when the time comes. I appreciated Jay providing a detailed proposal of the job which included service cost for me to react to and provided an estimated time when he would be able to complete the job

He arrived on-time. Handled patching of the wall pretty quickly. The ceiling had bowed from the water leakage, plus covered with popcorn. He re-secured the ceiling to the joists, painted and patched as needed. The difficulty was dealing with a popcorn ceiling and trying to make the repair blend in. That was a difficult task and not 100% successful, but certainly much improved over the staining and sagging of the ceiling board

Excellent, I strongly believe no one in the Twin Cities or State of Minnesota is more talented and Professional than Todd and Dan's Crew. I was so impressed by some previous work performed by Shelton's Painting, I hired them to scrape the popcorn off of my ceilings. The end result.....My ceilings look flawless. I have been in other homes where the same type of work was done and I can see some imperfections. Todd, Dan and their crew will make sure you do not see any. Not only did they Scrape the ceilings to perfection they also repaired and even re-taped many areas that had not been done properly and were covered up with the popcorn texture. I had 2 water spots on the ceiling from the previous owners of the house and Shelton Painting removed both of them. When the ceiling was originally installed, there were some areas were the ceiling drywall had not been taped. Shelton Painting recognized this and repaired the issue as well as many other small repair issues at no extra cost. What was even more impressive, Dan one of the owners came out to the residence after hours and visibly inspected the job performed and made any necessary repairs to make sure the ceiling looked flawless. This type of job can be extremely messy, however Todd, Dan and their crew made sure everything was protected and cleaned, leaving the area the same as it was before the job began. Chris White did an excellent job. We had a badly damaged popcorn ceiling in our townhouse bathroom. Chris skimmed the ceiling, applied texture and painted the ceiling. He was quick, professional, courteous, punctual and thoroughly professional, and offered his services at a very fair price. House was empty. Realtor handled house access and provided initial reviews of work done by Details. From all reports work done was excellent. Shower area had drywall tape coming down in shower area (popcorn ceiling). This was repaired so nothing showed. Rest of house had many, many holes where shelves mounted to walls were taken down in move out. Manly other holes from pictures, etc. Patched holes painted to match existing paint. Reports were that this was an excellent job. Then the cleaning crew came in to thoroughly clean the house (quite a mess after moving company moved everything out). Carpets were cleaned. House was put on market. Multiple reviews by different realtors had comments like "very clean" so it wasn't just the listing realtor who complemented the state of the house. So we as the sellers who are now out of the area in a new house have to be very pleased with the work done by Details. Mike Newcome was our primary contact and he arranged everything with thorough professionalism. He had to work with realtors to get access to the house by contacting them ahead of time. He was a pleasure to work with on the phone. Yes, I'm being very complementary, but when it's earned then praise is warranted. The only potential negative was that the repair work, though well done, seemed a little bit expensive for the amount of work

He removed & replaced exisiting baseboard in the master bedroom, added crown molding in the bedroom, removed three lights (and replaced with new versions) added knobs and installed a shelf. They were very good about filling in all the nail holes and seams on the molding & baseboard. You can't even tell where the seams are! Since I have a popcorn ceiling, removing/added new lights made the most mess, but he cleaned everything up promptly and it looked better than when they arrived

When we realized the ceiling was worse than thought at first, he was honest and did not charge me, even though he had been to our home twice. I liked the idea of a flat rate per-hour fee for doing our to-do list. Would hire again
