Robert did a fabulous job, we could not be more happy with the results! He was professional through the whole process and also very patient. My husband and I were going back and forth on a couple things and he continued to check in. We feel like we got a NEW kitchen for a fraction of the price. We knew we didn't want to demo the kitchen because we liked out layout and didn't need to change anything besides the "look" Robert was very thorough, cleaned up the kitchen once he was completed, and really takes pride in his work. We would highly recommend him to anyone for cabinet refacing!

A very positive encounter. Darin IS Kitchen Renovators, and he (rightfully) takes a great deal of pride in his work. Darin met with us promptly and we had a very interactive conversation about what we wanted, with Darin making lots of suggestions about options we could include in the refacing, like some additional cabinet work to enhance what was there, rollouts, etc. He showed us our options in refacing. It was easy to get excited about all the things we could do. Darin also provided us with a bid that was quite a bit lower than the one we accepted. I know from his reviews on Angie's List that Darin does fine work; we just chose to go with another company for a number of reasons, none of them Darin's fault -- though it might have helped some if we'd had his bid sooner than 7-8 days after his visit, as our other bidders all responded sooner after their visits. I'm sure we could have prodded him to be a little quicker, but our experience in hiring contractors in this post-housing-bubble economy is that many of them still are not very busy. We, however, do find it difficult to find the time to do such close tracking. I definitely would consider Darin for other remodeling in our house, though.

Lonn was so easy to work with from start to finish. Our kitchen turned out even better than we thought it would look and we are so pleased with our decision to use Custom Refacing LLC. Lonn listened to what was important to us, provided suggestions when appropriate, and was very professional. The work was completed in the provided timeline with no surprises. We even added on to the project mid-way through and it was no problem. We absolutely love our cabinets, it has totally transformed our kitchen. We would not hesitate to use Custom Refacing LLC again or to refer friends/family to Lonn.

The work was great and done in less than a week. The refaced cabinets look like new and tie in perfectly with the completely rebuilt and new cabinets. The kitchen looks like new! No hassles, no surprise costs, just quality work at a reasonable price. We highly recommend Lonn’s services.

From start to finish, Jordan and his partners were responsive to all of our questions and concerns and very invested in doing the best job possible. When extra things came up that we didn't anticipate Jordan was flexible and the added charges for extra work were very reasonable. This was a multifaceted remodel of a kitchen that involved removing old tile and installing a new tile floor, repairing and painting walls, sanding and painting old cabinets, installing new hardware and cabinet doors, etc. Jordan, Lennon, and Isaac all did high quality, meticulous work. They were also very considerate of our home and did great clean up after finishing up each day. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again for another remodel. The only category that we didn't rate an A was punctuality. They did show up every day they said they would but the job wound up taking almost a month to complete rather than the projected 10-14 days. The hold up seemed to be the delivery of the cabinet doors we ordered. This may have been due in large part to the busy spring remodeling season. However, our order came in two different shipments from the same provider - which didn't seem necessary as the measurements for all of the components were taken at the same time. The order for some of the doors/drawers appeared to be put in later by the subcontractor who did the extra cabinet rather than with the initial order. Despite the delays, and accompanying inconveniences, we would still use and recommend Outlaw Carpentry LLC.

I had two bathrooms which I wanted updated. Because of the way one vanity was built in and the custom size of the other, I decided to look into cabinet refacing. I found Custom Refacing on Angie's List and Lonn came out and gave me a rough estimate and explained what he would do. He was quite thorough in his initial analysis of what needed to be done and showed me wood and style samples. I thought he was very knowledgable of the various facets of the work, so that it would look right in the house and blend with existing wood and finishes. When I was ready to order the work, he came back and remeasused. The proposal was very close to the original estimate. We scheduled the work and he came as scheduled. The work was done beautifully and clean up was thorough. He was able to do the work without removing the countertops. I had talked to another contractor who said they would remove the counter top, which wouldn't have workd in my situation, and under any circumstance would have created a lot of work and expense as it would also involve removing the plumbing fixtures. If I could rate the cost as A- or B+, I would. I didn't give an A for the cost because the work was not cheap. However, it looks really nice and was a fair value. Lonn was nice and easy to work with. I highly recommend him. Based on other reports I was very comfortable going to work and leaving Lonn to do the work while I was out.

Lonn Schmitz helped to redo our 30+year old, oak cabinets into a brand new kitchen. His knowledge/expertise, workmanship and professionalism was evident from the first preliminary appointment to completion of the job. All of our questions and concerns were always fully and quickly answered, putting us more at ease as the project progressed. When at times we were unsure of something, such as size and placement of hardware and asked his opinion he carefully helped us. We also asked him to build new vanities for three bathrooms and he exceeded our expectations. The new cabinetry is beautiful. This was a project that we were nervous to undertake not knowing how the refacing would look and if it was as cost effective as we hoped. It was worth every penny and because of Lonn and his skills, we are enjoying our new kitchen and bathrooms!

We didn't go forward with this project because we decided to replace our cabinets. Lonn had some great ideas and beautiful samples for us to look at. He educated us on refacing and was very prompt and professional. I would recommend calling Lonn for an estimate if you are looking at refacing cabinets.

Lonn did excellent work for us and we were extremely pleased with the cherry refacing of our kitchen island, the vent hood he created and the fireplace mantel reface. His kitchen cabinet refacing work was superb. However, his subcontractor who painted the refaced cabinet gets a C for his work. Many drips and missed spots were found, which we corrected. All and all this project went well.
