I had talked to five other companies and none were as accommodating and agreeable as Acme. The installers were fast efficient and pleasant. They were obviously sold on the company and the product. They were also willing to answer any questions with patience and good humor. Dealing with these people was like dealing with my Dad whose word was better than any contract. I would recommend to anyone.

Acme Awning
I have a small balcony on the back of my home, and wanted a retractable awning option for rainy days. Not only did Greg help me find the right fit for my application, but he was very willing to make a few special alterations to create the perfect fit for the space. We love it, and it perfectly matches with a previous awning we had made by Acme. Functional and attractive, it adds a good bit of character to an otherwise bland back of my house.

The project went great. Mike O'Toole was fantastic. He gave us a lot of good advice, which we hadn't received from other vendors from whom we also got quotes. Also, he did a lot to help us gain approval from our homeowners' association, who originally declined approval until Mike provided further specs and a photo from another job. Without his help, we couldn't have had an awning at all! The installers showed up when promised, did a great job (and left the area clean). Mike allowed us to use the awning for a couple of weeks and then they came back and adjusted it per our request. We are very pleased with the project and we highly recommend Hoigaard's for awnings and blinds.

I usually stop by because they're near my house and tell them what I need. The owner comes out that day or the next day, and I describe to him which window I want an awning for. He calls me with an estimate and asks me what time he can come out and see the awnings. He made sure the color and trim was the same as those that he had on his records. They came and installed the awnings. They order the awnings from another company, but the workmanship is excellent. They will also come and take down the awnings in the fall, store them, and rehang them in the spring.

THE COMPANY I WORK FOR CALLED ACE AWNING BECAUSE WE NEEDED AN AWNING FOR OUR ICE CREAM STAND. WE WANTED IT TO LOOK KIND OF LIKE AN OLD FASHIONED CANDY STORE. HE CAME OUT RIGHT AWAY TO GIVE US AN ESTIMATE. AT FIRST THE GUY SAID IT MIGHT TAKE TWO TO THREE WEEKS BECAUSE IT WAS A CUSTOM JOB. BUT IT ACTUALLY TOOK ABOUT A WEEK. THEY HUNG THE AWNING FOR US AND IT LOOKS GREAT.

I called Mike and he said it would be about $ 1200 to 1300 to replace the awning. About 15 by 9. Mike came out and we put $ 650 down as they prefer checks to cards. He said it will take 3 to 4 weeks before it is in. They came and did a good install,and we are very happy with it.

We experienced storm damage to our exisiting awnings. After contacting ACME there was a very nice man, Brian, that came to our house and spent about an hour explaining all of our options within two days. Then, after we had accepted their bid, they sent a crew out to remove our old awnings in preparation for recovering during the winter months after we had selected our new coverings. We decided between three color choices and went to their business location to compare samples with our new color choices for our house. They dropped what they were doing to help us and even had a sample mailed out the next day from the manufacturer. Our experiences were top notch and we would recommend them to anyone considering their services or products.

He fixed a few odds and ends around our home while doing a very professional job. If you are looking for windows, please get a quote from Josh and Brian. We met them at a home show and they delivered what they promised. Fantastic windows for much less than some of the over-priced competition. Look them up. You wont be disappointed.

From pictures sent via email, they helped me decide on size, and design elements and promptly sent me referrence since they reside outside my area. The item was made, shipped and damaged in transit and they took care of details of returning item to them, dealing wiht the insurance company, correcting the issue, keeping me up to date in the process and remaking the awning and getting it back to me.
