Amazing Husband Handyman Service
Arthur was very quick to respond, helpful and flexible in diagnosing our issue and solutions, and skilled and thorough in his work. I wanted to replace a shelf and countertop microwave above our stove with a new microwave range hood, but wanted some help as it was a two person job, and wanted more confidence in installing a heavy appliance. Arthur came to look and saw that the cabinet above was too tall to fit the appliance, so he first took out and attempted to modify the existing cabinet to fit. After some tinkering, he determined that it would be safer to get a new, shorter cabinet instead as it has to support some of the weight of the microwave. He did not charge me for the time spent on this diversion. I purchased a shorter over-the-range sized cabinet from a box store, and Arthur came back a few days later to install it, a finishing sideboard, and the microwave. He did a good job securing them, and reinstalled the top trim that he had saved when he took out the original. Looks and works great now

ERIC'S HANDYMAN SERVICE
Eric's work was quickly and professionally done. The old microwave in the upstairs kitchen was removed and the new one attached to the wall, to the existing vent and to the cupboard above it. He insulated aroudn the vent and plugged an old hole in the floor of the cabinet so that no cold air will circulate from the outside. Eric even got a ladder, went up on the roof and checked to see that the vent flap for the microwave was working. Eric protected all counter and stove surfaces while he worked and cleaned up afterward. He loaded the old microwave in my car for me to take to recycling. I have already hired Eric to come back in December to install the basement cabinet and microwave, and to fix the tub faucet in the bathroom upstairs. During a kitchen remodel, a few odd and ends came up with venting and a microwave hood install. Handyman Connection helped to complete a few of those tasks and made recommendations on the microwave install. It helped out a ton in a short period of time as I didn't realize that they team for the kitchen wouldn't do some of the tasks needed. On his way out, he noticed that the front door lock was getting jammed and he took the 5 minutes to fix it for me

The cost was a little higher than the original estimate because it took more wood for the cabinet door to have the wood grain run the direction I wanted. Narrative Construction
We bought a new house and it had a microwave oven mounted in a bulky box above the counter top. We wanted to put a microwave with a vent hood above the oven but the cabinet there didn't allow for the space. We asked Fred to remove the box and swap the place of the narrow cabinet above this with the tall one above the stove. This was no easy task as the cabinets had been built in place and the frames had to all be salvaged without damaging them and rejoined without altering the surface. Afterwards, other than having that ugly box gone and our new microwave over the stove, it was impossible to tell that any alterations had been made. We were very happy with the result

Handyman Connection of Eden Prairie
Called Handyman Connection to install OTR microwave. Ended up doing the majority of the work ourselves as the handyman would not 'hardwire' microwave (we were aware that electrical services were not included but were unaware the replacement unit required hardwiring). It was more of a joint project beween the handyman, my husband and myself with my husband doing the majority of the labor. The workman was, however, pleasant and courteous as was the individual who scheduled the service

Scheduled for delivery on Saturday between 2:30 and 4:30 pm. They were supposed to call and Saturday and give us and tell us when they were going to arrive. I called them after 4:00 pm when I had not heard back from them and was told that they wouldn't be arriving until after 5:30 p.m. then it was 7:00 p.m. When we told them we had been waiting all afternoon and we were going out with friends that night, I was told they would try to come Wednesday. Okay, haven't done wash for a couple of days so this was very upsetting. Called a couple managers and ended up having them deliver it on Monday. The delivery guys were very nice but kind of irritated that washer and dryer were sitting out on the street in front of my driveway for at least a half hour. Kind of felt weird. I do love my washer and dryer and the quality is great. I just wish the delivery was less stressful

It went very well, the repairman came out the same day, determined it wasn't worth repairing so returned the next day with a new disposal. I only paid the service fee, they replaced the disposal ($150) plus whatever a normal service call would cost, I am very happy with this service and will continue to keep my warranty in place. Very personable and effective customer service, I would recommend this service

They fixed what they were initially meant to fix. However, I don't think he actually tested it. When we tested it after he left, the oven light no longer worked. We called them to come out and look at it, but they were going to charge us $100 just to come out and check.

The cabinet that was above the range needed to be shortened in order for the microwave to properly fit, and it looks beautiful! The cabinet wasn't the strongest, yet Scott reinforced it so that it all worked out wonderfully. Most of all, I appreciated the professional and pleasant manner in which Scott conducted business.
