Service was excellent. He arrived on time, very pleasant and helpful. He worked efficiently and was able to fix instead of replace an elevated light fixture.

Mark installed all our new base trim as well as door and some window trim. He shows up when he says he will and works very hard all day. Mark was challenged with a house that isn't completely square, and he made it work. He also helped design and custom make some transition base for a slightly elevated floor. We will call Mark when we have some more projects. Thanks Mar

Randy was great! Any job of this magnitude has its bumps along the way, but Randy handled them well and was always fair and professional. We have a large family -- 15 people in the house, two of whom are wheelchair dependent -- and Randy really worked with us to make this project go as smoothly as possible. He and his subs were all great with the kids -- very friendly and they enjoyed teaching my curious boys about what they were doing. Our addition included adding an elevator, which was a new challenge for him, and it went very well. We entertain frequently, and we've had many people comment that they couldn't tell we've added on because it flows so well. Living in the middle of a major construction project with a large family is a formidable adventure, but I think what made this experience an exciting memory and not a nightmare was Randy. He listened to what we wanted, coordinated work so that we didn't have any long gaps with nothing happening, frequently checked on progress at our house, did some of the work himself, and hired family-friendly subs for the rest. Most importantly, he's polite, yet assertive, when dealing with city inspectors and subs, but he has a friendly, relaxed temperament that makes him easy to have around. I've recommended him to family and friends and would definitely hire him again

Shelton Painting Inc
I was under a lot of time pressure to get my house ready to sell. Shelton Painting was very responsive with a visit to my home and a clear, detailed description of work that would and would not be included in the bid. Once the work was agreed to, Todd mobilized a large crew to get the job done correctly yet quickly to beat the bad weather that was coming in. The job was done as Todd described. When I had questions or concerns during the final "walk-around," Todd responded very well to each issue so that all details were taken care of. Will definitely hire them again

His name is Tim Carroll. We have been very pleased with him. He is very conscientious and hard working. He wants to get everything right to please the people that he is doing the work for. He wants to make sure that everybody is happy and that the work is done right. Last summer he redid the gates on our fences in the yard. He did an awesome job. He made sure it was straight and that it looked right

Imperial Custom Woodworking Inc
We love our new kitchen. Imperial Custom Woodworking updated and improved our kitchen plan views and elevations, field-measured existing floor, walls and ceilings, made cabinet design revisions to accommodate our existing range exhaust outlet location, made drawer design revisions to accommodate adjacent seating area, made recommendations on best range hood liner, fabricated great quality upper and lower cabinets and doors, including glass doors with mullions, and provided great cabinet door hardware and great self-closing drawer glides. Installation crew did quality work and installed upper and lower cabinets in one day. Door and drawer installation was finished in a half-day about two weeks later. Cabinet, crown molding and cabinet trim installation was perfect. Cabinet doors and drawers were all adjusted and fit perfectly. Refrigerator, range and microwave appliances fit perfectly into new cabinets

A++. Kendrick did all the electrical work for our addition which included an indoor pool and elevator. From the office to onsite electricians, their employees are professional, honest and friendly. Their attention to detail and customer service is beyond excellent and they complete the work on time and on budget. We requested several quotes and their responsiveness was the best (many didn’t even bother to respond). We had done small projects with them in the past and knew their quality was unparalleled and their pricing very fair. Once again they did not disappoint and they exceeded all our expectations for our large scale project. Their communication was superb from start to finish and they treated both us and our home with the utmost respect. We cannot say enough good things about Kendrick. They will always be the company we call and highly, highly recommend them

CADY HANDYMAN SERVICES
He did a beautiful job. He was on time to the minute. He was fast. I would use him many more times. They got back with me the same day I called. They made an appointment that day. It was a good experience also.

Called to schedule service. They always try to schedule the technician that is familiar with your home which I appreciate. Given direct mobile number and email to your technician so that you can reach out whenever needed with just questions. For my most recent service call Zac Salfer was able to come the same day; called ahead of arrival. Assessed the situation. Provided multiple options and openly suggested the lessor priced option as step 1 of troubleshooting. Advantage of troubleshooting with Randy’s is that the price of each step comes off the next so you aren’t feeling like you are starting over, paying all over again because the first option didn’t solve the problem. Extremely knowledgeable technicians, never rushed to get to another job when they aren’t charging you by the hour. On this trip Zac found an unrelated hazard in the breaker box when working on my issue. If gone unnoticed, it could have easily caused a fire. Another plus with Randy’s, and this comes with the technician that knows you and your home-they look beyond the job at hand to be sure everything else looks safe. And not to create another opportunity for money for them, this is their way to build customer confidence and their customer service philosophy

Custom Refacing LLC
This was my third kitchen remodel in the past thirteen years and I wanted it to be my best, but I was new to the area and did not have any referals and few contacts for referals. I discoveed Angie's List and began my search. I soon found Lonn and asked him to bid my kitchen remodel along with several other highly rated Angie's List cabinet makers. Lonn wowed me with his insight into the design provided by my kitchen designer. He quickly grasped the challenges of several details and helped me understand how he would complete the work to my expectations. Lonn submitted a competitive bid in a timely manner and quickly responded to all of my calls and questions. His estimate was very thourough and complete and I felt immediately comfortable with him. During the cabinet installation Lonn always kept me informed or his schedule and coordinated his work very well with the other contractors. Lonn always strived for perfection an it shows in the final result. His craftmanship is of a very high quality and I am very pleased that I chose him for my project. His ideas were always appropriate and executed to perfection. As you may expect with any remodel project of this size and scope the project could not be completed soon enough so that I and my family could get back to our normal lives. But Lonn's calm and gentle manner helped us to get through it with a minimum amount of stress. Everyone appreciated his demeanor and his talents. I will use Lonn again

Excellent. Crews cleaned up after work was completed. Held weekly construction meetings attended by the contractor (Bill Krech) with his staff to go over the timeline, timecard information, etc to keep project on time and on budget. Homeowners were very satisfied with the completed project.

Dave and Fisel (sp?) from Randy's came and worked the job that took approximately 1.5 days and did a PHENOMENAL job! They were professional, knowledgeable, hard and fast working - yet they still took the time to explain things to me. I passed Minneapolis Electrical inspection with flying colors - and the inspector even complimented Randy's Electric, saying that they do excellent work. As others who have reviewed Randy's have indicated, the company does have a Christian mission and they share a small "tract" that professes this mission and closed my transaction with a prayer for good functioning of my electrical and a happy home. I note this only so that someone who might be offended or strongly opposed to such a mission be aware - I thought it was sweet
Austin was WONDERFUL. I'd been approached by scammers who told me my chimney was about to fall down; they climbed up onto the roof and just threw bricks down onto my side yard. They wanted (get this) $38,000 to fix the chimney, then said okay, $9,000. The scammers said it would take three men three days plus a scaffolding. I said forget and called Angi. Austin came over to put a tarp over the opening in the chimney because it was supposed to rain that night (nice of him, as he knew the tarp was unnecessary but wanted to reassure me that rain wouldn't get into my attic). Austin completed the job BY HIMSELF and it took him only one day. He even picked up and took away the bricks the scammers had throw into my side yard. He was charming and kind. I would hire him again in a heartbeat. Recommend highly
Bryan did a great job. He quickly connected the power to the new water heater, reinforced the top portion of the conduit that a previous electrician had left loose and cleaned up when finished. He was very friendly and professional. I would definitely use him again.
I have to say that I have mixed feelings, mostly bad, about the incident. The owner of the business does not listen very carefully and says things off the cuff that he later forgets and forgets to inform his employees of the things that he has said (he had specifically told me that they would replace wet insulation under the flooring if needed. I happened to be here and see the wet insulation and asked them to remove it. They were not going to until I said that Steve had specifically said that it would be done!) This project began on the Monday before Thanksgiving and was supposed to be done in 2-3 days. At the end of the day on Wednesday (after 3 days) I still had no water in my kitchen until Friday. I was willing to be patient with all of this because we were out for Thanksgiving dinner anyway. However when Steve called me on Friday to tell me that he was going to charge me about $300 more now to replace the faucet that they had broken in removing the counter and to repair the drawer track that he had verbally agreed to fix (for the 3rd time after the previous 2 fixes that his company had done had failed), I was furious!! It was a holiday weekend and he did not have enough staff to do what he had promised to his customers apparently, and it felt like he was taking it out on me. I refused to pay anymore and he said that his worker, Jim, could put in a new faucet but not fix the drawer. He complained to me about how much more work they had done than he had expected. I reminded him of our conversation that included me asking specifically if they would be finding and fixing the source of the water leak and the damaged parts and I said that if he did not estimate it correctly, was understaffed, or cranky, it was not my fault. Fortunately Jim who works for him fixed the faucet without any problem, in fact he was quite nice about it, and he fixed the drawer in less than 2 minutes. After the work was done I could still smell mildew but I was not going to call them to come back. The floor in my bathroom has ridges in it from when they had previously pulled it up previously to remove a cabinet. Steve told me that they would fix it when they came back to do the kitchen floor but he did not tell his employees and I was so tired of dealing with him that I let it go. They even left the trash from the job sitting next to my porch until I dealt with it at the end of winter. If I could contact Jim directly to do work for me I would. He seemed quite conscientious and capable beside being nice. I hope that I can find someone else to do work for me because I do not want to ever deal with Steve again
Hired James to remove carpet and breathe life back into the floors at my parents' house. This guy delivers! The floors look beautiful and went a long way towards getting the home sold. Great to work with and lovely results. Highest recommendation!
We were very happy with them. The price was very good. The experience was very good. My neighbor said that she had called somebody a couple of years ago and they were very costly. AgeRight Retrofit, Inc was reasonable. The dryer is still working. Their response was very good.
He is a general contractor. He has subs. The guy that actually did the painting I think has his own business. The cabinet maker has his own business. We did it all through the contract that we had with him. What stood out about him was excellent communication and excellent quality of work. He is a good problem solver. When things come up, you have to kind of adjust and he is very good at that. He never acts like, "Oh dear. I don't know what to do." He always has a solution. He is a great guy. He is very good at what he does. He cleans up everyday. What I liked about him was that he communicates in the 21st century. He has his gmail calendars and sends you dates that certain people are going to be here. He does a project plan and he always knows where he is in the project plan. That was very helpful
I had two carpets that were in bad need of some stretching. I wanted to have this performed before the movers arrived with all of our furniture. Brad initially said he would shoot for the move-in date, but could not promise anything due to existing work loads. Luckily, his guys were able to show up ahead of schedule and quickly perform the service. They trimmed several inches off the carpet, but they still looked excellent when finished. A very good experience
We needed an outlet installed for a stair lift. We contacted Marko Electric and Mark came out to do the work. He was very professional and did the installation in a reasonable amount of time. Because of the way our existing wiring was set up, he also suggested and added another outlet in our garage. He cleaned up after he was done and made sure we were happy with the results. We plan to have him out again to do some other work
