The hole experience went well. The installer (Tim) was right on time. Was very polite and professional. The installation took about 45 minutes. The $100 dollars was for and hours work so Tim used the rest of the time to explain how the remote for the fan worked and how the existing switches worked with the new fan. I am a little disappointed with the outcome of how the existing switches work with the new fan but I'm thinking it has to do with the design differences of the new vs. old and not necessarily the fault of the installer. The existing fan had two pull chains. The new fan is designed to operate with a remote-no pull chains. I had three wall switches that controlled the operation of the old fan. For the new fan with remote, the existing switch on the wall that controlled the fan could not be used and the existing dimmer switch on the wall also did not work correctly with the new fan. I wound up having to replacing the existing dimmer switch with just a toggle-(on and off switch). So in the end, one of the three existing wall switches is not used and the other two just control the fan light-(on and off). I mounted the remote on the wall that controls the fan speeds and the light dimmer. Now the only problem I have with the switch set up for the new fan is one of the existing three wall switches is not used and also the fan and the light do not work independently. The light has to be on in order for the fan to work. After all if this, I am still happy with the new fan

Worst electrical company we have ever encountered. Called them in install a simple bathroom fan (it was a replacement to one that was already there). 8 hours later....still not complete along along with lovely oil stains on our driveway from their van and puncture holes in the corner of our bathroom ceiling . I didn't notice the puncture holes until months later - their response was that "It was upsetting" that I am just now telling them about the holes. THEY are upset? I'm the one with holes in my ceiling! They admitted that they would have to consult a manual and call the manufacturer in order to try to finish the job. We said no thanks and hired another company who installs this fan model ALL the time and that it was a common model. Whereas, Brothers Electric wanted us to believe that this was a very sophisticated type of fan/very unusual type of fan which was why it would take so long. What was worse is that they pointed the finger back at us like it was our fault for allowing them to park on my driveway leaving the oil stain (they never asked where they could park) AND said they do not make homeowner repairs to any damage they caused. I wouldn't hire this company in a million years. Very poor business and customer service skills to accuse your own customer for your own problems that you created - in addition to not having the knowledge to install a simple replacement bathroom fan. Shame on them

The project seemed simple but believe me it wasnt. With these old style houses (built in 1912) theres always a curve ball. Any how after a couple of initial visits, a solution was found and a fan was installed which works great. They also did the same in my basement bathroom in addition to wiring and installing a new light fixture. Am waiting for my bathroom remodel to be complete before we get the light fixture install done but the friendly engineer said to call up and get it booked in when we are done. All in all, a great service from a responsive and thoroughly professional company. Not many like this out there

Randy's Electric was prompt, professional, and responsive. They looked at the existing ceiling fan and were able to get it running again, but would not be able to warranty it because of possible hidden damage to the motor. I decided to replace it - it was at least 14 years old and about due anyway. The technicians were able to obtain a replacement fan quickly, checked to make sure the ceiling box met current code (it didn't), replaced that box, and installed the new fan. They made every effort to keep the area clean and disposed of the old fan and box. It's working beautifully

Eric and Jake did an excellent job taking down the old fan and preparing and installing the new one. The new fan has a remote control that required some special wiring and reconfiguration. They stayed on task and assured me that they would sort out the issues to get the remote to sync with the wall control. I now have a new fan that looks great and works beautifully. I am extremely happy with the work

This is the second time I used Brothers Electric and was again thrilled with their service. I called at 8:30am to make an appointment. It wasn't an emergency so they scheduled me initially for the next week which was fine. We were completing a remodel on the interior of our house. Scott gave us a bid for the electrical work and his bid was the lowest. We provided all of the light fixtures, switches (Lutron dimmers) and bathroom fans. Tim performed the majority of the work. Tim performed the work on schedule and he was very courteous. We paid 30% when he started the work, 30% after rough-in, 35% at substantial completion and then the remaining 5% at final completion. He deducted $25 off the bid with the Angieslist.com coupon. Overall, we were happy with the work completed and would use them again

Fantastic! Jessie was so professional and helpful. Once the problem was found, a faulty ceiling fan, he ask if he should remove the fan. He talked about how a new one should be installed saying it was fairly easy. Then he suggested we go buy a new fan ( I have been wanting to install a ceiling light in the old fan.) and he would return in three hours to install it. We found a beautiful fan with a light. He came back and installed. He was ever so helpful. I was over the moon at the service price. Less than three hundred dollars for all of that work. Mary Jan

The newly installed fan works great, Eric did a great job installing it, it is flush with the ceiling for a nice clean professional look. He cleaned up afterwards as some installation fell from the attic as is going to happen. He called me the night before just to ask if he was late if that was alright as it had snowed and it was thought the traffic would be bad. THE CREW WAS ON TIME, PROFESSIONAL AND DID A QUALITY JOB. THE ONLY PROBLEM WE HAD IS THAT ONE OF THE BATH FANS WAS DEFECTIVE AND DID NOT WORK PROPERLY RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX. THE CREW CAME BACK TO REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE FAN, BUT NOT UNTIL ABOUT 3 WEEKS AFTER THE INITIAL INSTALLATION. THEY SAID THAT A NEW FAN HAD TO BE ORDERED. I WAS DISAPPOINTED THAT THE DEFECTIVE FAN COULDN'T BE REPLACED SOONER
