It went very well. Paul and his crew were polite, efficient and considerate in getting the job done. They not only did a great job but were pleasant to deal with and talk to. I’m a hobby botanist so have a decent understanding of the field and quickly found that From The Roots Up really knows what they are doing and are happy to help you understand the “whats hows and whys” when considering the job.

The estimator arrived on time and was courteous. He had to get back to me with an estimate. The prices were higher than other estimates I obtained. Their stump grinder was too big to use in the narrow location where the dead tree was located. They referred me to another company for stump grinding, but that company did not have a small enough grinder to do the job. If I had used this company I would have been left with a stump in the ground.

Zazueta Tree Specialists were helpful in planning the project and advising which trees are protected under city ordinances. We received written bids, and they did exactly what they said they would do. Excellent, timely work. Hard workers. They came each day rain or shine. We would hire them again.

I submitted a free estimate request online via their website. I received a call back the next day to arrange an on site visit to provide an estimate. The estimator arrived as expected for the estimation appointment. We went over the details to insure everything I wanted accomplished was included in the estimate. I had particular days I wanted the trees cut down and the grinding completed. The estimator was able to meet the date for the cut down but was not able to meet the date for the stump grinding. However, the estimator was able to find an open slot a couple of days later that was acceptable to me for the stump grinding. The crews showed up as expected for the cut down and later the stump grinding. They were on time, easy to work with, and completed all the expected tasks.

They responded promptly and removed the tree in a professional manner. I paid them $5600 which included stump grinding. However, they have never come back to remove the stump. I have called, written etc. and get no help. I cannot have my deck rebuilt until the stump is ground. I am now out $600 which is the cost of the stump removal and will have to have another professional come and do the work..

I have a street tree that need to be removed due to the major branch broken off and became structurally unsafe. Bay Area Tree Specialists is one of the registered tree care company in the city's list when I asked for permit from the city to cut down the tree. I called them and they came immediately to give me an estimate. The price is less than one half of the estimate from the city's contractor so I am happy. Since I was concerned that the other half of the tree may fall any time, they came the next working day (I called over a long weekend) and remove the tree. The stump removal need to wait until all utility companies marked their pipelines. They come after the markings are done (3 working days later) and finished the work promptly. All debris are cleaned up by the crew. I am very happy about the work and I will call them back to trim my other two trees later.

Edgar did a great job including clean up, and at a very fair price. We would definitely recommend Lemur Tree.

Crew came out and removed a large Alder tree that died last year. 7 guys and one hour later and the tree was gone. They did a great job cleaning up. Stump removal was supposed to happen the same day but that did not happen and I scheduled for Monday.The stump removal crew came on time and had a real challenge in getting the machine into the back yard as I have two narrow paths with lots of plants. These guy's did a great job getting the machine past the plants w/o damaging them. I was very impressed.
