My father had a heart attack and was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and needed quadruple bypass. I hopped on a plane from San Francisco with my 2 kids and arrived at my parents house in NJ and I really couldn't get over the state of the house when I arrived. Clearly my father has been sick for quite some time and allowed the house to deteriorate. There was flooding water sitting on the foundation of the back of house due to lack of gutters, paint peeling off everywhere, and the front steps were missing bricks and a hazard to all that would walk up them. I did a quick google search and found Magnolia Home Remodeling and Vic came out the next day for a quote. Vic could not have been a more compassionate, accommodating, wonderful guy! He was so understanding and told me he would have the job done in 5 days and was true to his word. As soon as I gave him the green light and picked the color, the crew came in and completed the job before my dad got home from the hospital as promised. They did beautiful work and my mom, dad, and myself could not be more pleased with the outcome. Vic was superb to work with--I texted him all kind of questions and he got back to me in an instant and would pick up the phone every time I called. I highly recommend using Magnolia and we are actually going to get a few more things done to the house (windows. some cement patio/sidewalks and driveway) in a few months when things settle down with my dad and we look forward to seeing Vic and his great crew again

Precision Built Construction
Precision Built has done numerous jobs for us over the past few years and we have always been very happy. Most recently, we had them out to repair some of the siding on the house to prepare for painting the exterior. Now the exterior looks good as new. It was an overall great experience: Alex came by to bid on this project and gave us a quote that we felt seemed low and made us question if that was a bad sign. We decided to go with them, but had to wait until our windows were installed before we could start. Alex was very flexible with your scheduling needs. Once we started he had a team of 3 who worked hard and fast and in 4 days everything had been washed, sanded, stripped, repaired, caulked, primed, painted, and cleaned. Alex also did a good job matching the paint we had picked, and recommended trim and front door colors that were very complimentary. At the end of the project he even gave us 10% off for being from Angie's List

Hoss completed a full kitchen remodel for me and it is beautiful! It doubled my cabinet space and turned a small closed-in kitchen into a fully functional one. He has an eye for detail: every cabinet door is level and the handles are even. He even took the time to ground the house (it’s a small beach house built in the 60s) to make sure it was safe. I had no idea it wasn’t grounded. I wish I could share before and after photos! He replaced everything, and completed the work in a timely manner

They came out and were pretty responsive, but the problem never got solved, but I had to call somebody else. They were just super busy at that time. They?came out and did a?temporary fix and told me to call them back when the rain stopped because they could not do a permanent fix at that time, which was okay. They charged me to come out. Regardless, when they come out I think it is, like, 300 bucks, I think is what they charge. I think they came out the next day. I would refer them. They are a very professional company to deal with

Cal Preserving delivers EXCEPTIONAL results. We had an immediate response to my request for a quote. Onsite visit 2 days later, quote that afternoon. Able to start after rain let up in Fremont - 5 days later. Absolute professional prep, treatment, and care by Francisco and Gabriel. Pressure washed our 14-yr old deck the first day - AND the pergola overhead - AND the fiberglass roofing. They ALSO cleaned the adjacent pool of cleaning debris - without being asked! Next day sanded the deck, let dry, returned to apply preservative - which brought out the original beauty of the redwood. Spectacular results. Throughout they protected downspouts, electrical connections, cleaned dirty water sitting in the base of sliding glass doors - and somehow made a squeaky deck silent. (I've walked across it 4 times tonight and there wasn't a single squeak.) Gorgeous result. I will hire this company again - recommend them for any wood related project - and have already recommended them to neighbors. We've owned this 43 year old home 20+ years - and never seen such quality restoration. This company is truly exceptional - at all levels

The estimate went well, they were timely and fair priced. When we scheduled the work I thought we would get Scudder, but we got a sub contractor. The gutter guys showed up on the wrong day which caused issues as I had planned to take off work. They left trash after the job and didn't run the drains in the proper direction. After a call to Scudder the sub contractor came out to fix the uses and even commented that Scudder only assigned the jobs and never actually consults with them on how things need to be done. I had to have the sub contractor come back on numerous occasions for a vibration when I gets windy. For the most part it's fixed but we still get some on high wind days. It did take Scudder months after the work to actually contact us and bill us. Overall I'd use them again and plan to when I need vents added to the roof
