AQUATIC FILTER SYSTEMS

I had contacted Eric Watson (owner of AFS) over a year before ordering the water treatment system. He was very informative and answered all my questions promptly. He was never pushy but just provided information. After ordering the system, it came with all the parts (plus extras) I needed to complete the job, even a drill bit to anchor the system to a concrete floor. The setup instructions were easy to follow, and I liked the handwritten notes and that all of the connections were marked. I put the system together in a couple of hours, and it worked without leaks the first time I pressurize it. The cold water was better in less than 20 minutes, and our hot water turned from a rotten egg smell to fresh and clean in less than 8 hours. I'm very happy with the quality of our water with our AFS. I highly recommend for people on well water

The work was completed in the time promised. John had to replace the connections for an elaborate sprinkler system, in addition to the water main replacement. The new water treatment system is working flawlessly. Very professional results. I am happy to have a plumber that I can trust, and whose work ethic and attention to detail are consistent with mine

I really was disappoint with these guys. They came over and did not solve the problem after replacing the entire water valve system. it seemed like the change that they made in the system caused them that fail. They left me with a worst problem. My system that was functioning is no longer functioning at all. I will never use them again, and cannot recommend them. Overall, I am grading them a F

Jason is the Reverse Osmosis expert for Serv-all, the Water Treatment Division of Water Quality Plumbing. He was careful, thorough, honest and very knowledgeable. He also removed another (unnecessary, as it turned out) filter we had been sold for our refrigerator. It continually leaked. In fact, the last plumber we had out had simply shut it off, without telling us. Jason also redid and simplified our shut-off valves. Then, while waiting to make sure there were no leaks, he cleaned up and removed our old system. I highly recommend him

Albert Nahman Services
5.0
Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating came in with lowest bid. But the reasons I chose them were different: they inspected the site the same day I called, came up with an alternate route around huge retaining walls, and hired landscapers to trench the ground, avoiding the roses. Job completed and inspected within 48 hours. You can scarcely tell where they trenched. They are honest, quick, smart, and very professional! Kudos

Provided a good amount of estimate/information over the phone, then offered to stop by to look at the house for detailed quotes. Was at house within 15 minutes of phone call, as promised. He explained everything very thoroughly, including different options for replacing the water heater, and showing us where some things might need replacing in the near future. He stayed to unclog the drainage in the bathroom sinks, and did a great job, although the final bill was higher than the initial estimate (he couldn't unclog the drain with the snake, had to go use "expensive chemicals"). He was very personable and professional, and we are considering using him for the water heater replacement, although we have not received any other quotes yet. He gave 10% off for Angie's List members

Bayshore Plumbers
5.0
I called a week ahead to schedule the appointment and went with the first appointment of the day on a Friday. The guys showed up a little early- which was great. They took about an hour - running a vinegar solution through my tankless water heater- I had the clean out valves installed when the tank was installed. While the vinegar solution was running through the system they showed me a brochure on a water treatment system and gave me an estimate for moving some drain and supply pipes in my laundry room. They were professional and not pushy. It was good experience - as I was expecting some high pressured upsell/ cross sell which sometimes can come along with these daily deals. Bayshore seems to have stuck the right balance. I would consider calling them for future work

One of my boys threw underwear at another of my boys as he was using the bathroom. It fell into the toilet and was accidently flushed. I was panicked because I couldn't retrieve it with my small snake and I didn't want to have backed up sewer connections for our Labor Day BBQ 3 days away. I got their name from Angie's List and called because they had 146 reviews, almost all of which were excellent. They also had a coupon for $25 off although my main selection criteria is always the number and high grades of reviews. I originally called the office to find out if the need to snake the drains was urgent or could wait until after the long weekend. The person who answered the phone was very nice and as it was not something she could answer, gave me the cell phone number of one of the plumbers . She told me to call her back if I was unable to reach him because his phone was acting up and he would be getting a new one the next day. I called and could not reach him but left a message. When I called her back to let her know, she gave me the number of the owner's son so I could get his advice. He did not think it was an emergency since everything seemed to be working ok. I decided to go ahead and schedule an appointment anyway for peace of mind and since I had planned prior to the underwear incident to get "snaked" in the next month or two. I believe it was John who came out the next day. He was very personable, punctual, professional, and extremely patient given the messiness of my house/garage (near the cleanout) and the hysteria of my boys over the whole procedure. Everything was done quickly behind closed doors with no mess. He was so thorough he found and snaked the kitchen cleanout which I knew nothing about and told me that we have ABS in our system so we should never have sewer backups. Their customer service and professionalism is outstanding and I will definitely use them again! P.S. He never did find the underwear. I apologize to the water treatment plant

Miro and Nada (partners) were recommended to me by friends. Their estimate was provided promptly and clearly. They gave me an estimated start date and showed up on time. Miro and Nada were nice, professional and did not pressure me into expanding my project. But they know their business and what makes sense. They showed me options, made suggestions and let me make the decisions. The suggestions that I did take turned out exceptionally well. Prompt, especially clean and professional. I felt I could trust them to work on my home when I was not there -which I did. I highly recommend Miro and Nada and will hire them again. I'm trying to get them to go to Florida to work on my home there
Discovered our problem on 1/14/19, called the company and had a new water heater delivered and installed by 3 pm on 1/15/19. Chris installed the new heater with new straps and new supports and explained how everything works. We could not be happier with him and the installation. This company is highly recommended for anyone needing a new water heater
Its a family run business, they are professional, punctual, and knowledgeable. They are able to work with you on pricing. They were about to fit me in their schedule pretty easily. I appreciated them, it was a good experience. I would recommend them.
The process was quick and easy. I just provided a water sample. It was determined that I had high levels of chlorine in our drinking water. I was able to solve my water problems with only one filter. Why did I wait years to have this done? Now I can be confident that our water is safe. Highly recommended
I got my softner from Culligan back in 2000, along with a reverse osmosis filter system. I've probably only had them come out four times since but two times were bad experiences and one I felt I got ripped off. The first time my softner didn't seem to be working, they told me the water sensor wasn't working properly, it tells the softner when it needs to regenerate automatically based on the water condition, they went to the circuit board and he said he "rebooted" it and then he changed some setting on the interface. I'm a computer technician so I asked what he did so I can fix myself next time, only took him a minute, and he tells me I can't say, "JOB SECURITY"!?? After he left I checked the manual and looked and settings and dip switches I was watching him mess with and found out what he did was bypass the water sensor completely by making the softer regenerate every 6 days no matter what.... I wanted the water sensor to work. The second time I was replacing the reverse osmosis filters and the lines kept leaking and I got fed up and decided to let go of some money. The guy came out, was very nice, we looked over and everything seemed good, he jumped in his truck and left. I cleaned up and then noticed a link under the sink by the filter but couldn't at the time determine where it was coming from so I called Culligan before the tech got too far and had him come back. Well now I was noticing some type of attitude from the guy like he was going to get dinged because his job wasn't done correctly, I wasn't blaming anyone just asked to get the leak resolved, wasn't there before. We determined it was the drinking spout base was leaking down from top of sink when I rinsed it off, the gasket was bad. I asked if he could fix and he says no, its not a Culligan spout, (I replaced along time ago when theirs went bad, didn't think of calling them for that), so I asked if he could replace with a new one and he said $80 after a phone call, I didn't want to do it but just wanted this problem out of my hair. I almost told this guy to leave my house and never come back. Now with the latest issue I had some plumbers fixing the pipe coming from the street to house and just after that we started getting low water pressure, I determined it was the softner by bypassing it. I heard plumbing can get dirt in the softner and it just needs to be cleaned so I called them out, I did realize it was 15 years old and could just be going out. The guy was nice enough but right when he saw my softner he didn't bother to open it up or nothing, he said he would have to take back to the shop and replace resin, but I should replace cause circuit board could go out soon... hmmm. I told him I was hoping it was just clogged and he could check it for something clogged in it and he said its just old. I told never mind, im just going to get rid of it and he wrote bill for $150 and never even touched it. I feel ripped off. Even wrote a letter to them with all this information to hopefully help. I did try to get some pricing but they wont do over phone, have to have a sales guy talk to you... marketing strategy im sure, and sure not un common. anyways checking on other companies, think im done with Culligan
He is usually punctual. He is very quick, but I feel like the price is high for what he does, because it only takes him 20 minutes. Every year he replaces the filter for $150 and every three years it is $300 to replace the membrane. I wish his price was lower.
Domingo is real gentleman and did an EXCELLENT job. He really cares about his work. He installed a new furnace and AC is my home. He prices were very fair and he took extra care to make sure the job was done right. He even made sure my registers were correctly relocated and my returns were made larger even thought another contractor was completing this part of the job as part of a remodel. He relocated a register for me but did not charge extra. I highly recommend Domingo
