He had fixed it, in the estimate he told me $280 with parts After he finished the job, he asked me for $450 without showing me the receipt for the part and instead of telling me in advance the difference in price

Rosano's Appliance Repair
5.0
Mr. Rosano was very professional and his prices are reasonable. It took me days to find a company that will take the job. I bought the range top through Home Depot which couldn't install it because it would have taken weeks for someone to come and do it. Robert was a perfectionist and he was not happy until the installation was perfect. He is knowledgeable, fast, and respectful of how to leave the job. He came on a Sunday morning and was back on Monday with his son as an assistant. I definitively will call Mr. Rosano again if I need services with appliances

Our stove started to spark on the top while cooking. So we tried to call several places, and finally decided to work with Luan. He came the next day in the morning and was right on time. After a check, he found the problem and gave a reasonable quote, and fixed it. Our stove works well again! Will definitely work with him in the future for appliance repair

APPLIANCE DOCTOR
5.0
The technician arrived promptly and was very professional. It took him awhile to get the job done as it was rather complex and required taking the cooktop out of the counter and taking it apart. The end result is that our cooktop works like it was new. Very satisfied with The Appliance Doctor!

Mark Supachana and his helper came on time to repair my 30-year old Jennair grill and cooktops. The fan of the cooktops did not work. Mark isolated and identified the problem. He patiently worked on cleaning and polishing the switch mechanism. In about 1.5 hours, the fan problem was fixed. He saved me from buying a new grill and cooktops. Mark is an expert electrician. One month ago I hired him to repair my 30-year old microwave oven. I will use him again for future electrical repairs

Boris from 10xRepairServices came on time and very quickly diagnosed the problem. He gave me the sound advice of actually not fixing it and instead buying a new one, since the repair cost is too high. And at the end, he did not charge me at all. I really appreciated the good service and advice.

Quality of the work was very good. Gas line moved out of the way of the new stove and new fittings installed. Minimum service call of $250 seems steep.

We called and someone came out to diagnose the problem. The burner openings were clogged with rust. The technician cleaned them. We had PG&E come back out to check the emissions and they were improved but still too high. The company tried to find a replacement part and one was no longer available. They offered to install a new stove at no charge, which we appreciated but we didn't use them for the installation fearing that it would confuse the issue if the new stove had any problems

FixEm Appliance Repair

Cooktop repair was just a reset, and there was no charge for that. Oven door hinges needed to be replaced and that was done quickly and efficiently by Nathan. Microwave turned out to be unfixable, and Nathan will return to install a new one for me. I would definitely recommend FixIEm Appliance Repair and use them again

The technician did not call me to confirm the price and work prior to starting work. They show appliance names on their website which they don't service. When I spoke to the dispatcher, he said if it was on the website, they would try to fix it. The technician didn't fix the cooktop, and now I have to call someone else to fix the cooktop

Our 30 year old Chambers electric double oven was misbehaving. We were given a time window of between 2 & 4:30, and Rich showed up promptly at 2:00.He pinpointed the problem and fixed it straight away. While he was here, I had him look at our gas cooktop because one burner wasn't igniting. He fixed that too. He is great, honest and reasonable. A pleasure to deal with. No reason to look anywhere else for appliance repairs

Our 50 year old house has a very shallow crawl space with lots of obstructions, so we knew it wasn't to be easy to run a gas line to our new kitchen stove. John came out and found that there was an existing line to an interior closet that had previously housed a hot water heater and recommended we start from there as it would be less expensive. It still took him and a helper some time to get the line in by first pulling a plastic hose through, then using the hose to pull the gas line. They also had to cut and patch a large hole in the closet and add an electrical outlet for the stove. We have a small galley kitchen so it's not easy to get appliances in and out and maneuver under the sink, but they managed to get everything in okay. It took almost a day for them to complete the work. Everything was done professionally and cleanup was complete. We will definitely call John for any of our future plumbing needs
Anthony was just great. He showed up, he diagnosed the furnace problem quickly, ordered the part and came back to install it within a couple of days. I was really pleased!
The ice maker in our 3 year old Liebherr refrigerator stopped working. Their service network is sparse - only two appliance repair shops to serve the entire San Francisco Bay area. The shop was good about setting an initial appointment, and Joe arrived within the 2 hour time range they gave. Although he was a nice guy, I got the impression that this wasn't a model he worked on a lot, so it took him some extra time to remove the ice maker. It was clear which part had broken, so he put everything back together and said he would put the part on order. I didn't hear back for about a week so I called for a status update and asked them to order the part. I left on vacation for 10 days and when I returned I called to schedule a return visit to install the new part. They were a bit backlogged and scheduled me for the following week. Joe again arrived on time with the part. He said that rather than order an entirely new unit they had ordered a kit, which he thought would save me some money. Unfortunately, disassembling the old unit proved difficult and required a long call in to the shop for help. In the end, whatever savings might have been gained by ordering the kit was largely eaten up by extra labor charges. When it came time to pay, I saw I was being charged $275 for a complete new icemaker, rather than $95 for the kit. It took Joe 3 calls back to the office to finally convince them that he had not installed a new complete unit. Had I not been persistent they would have charged me the higher price. As it was, I was charged $120 in extra labor because of the long assembly time. In hindsight it would have been better to get an entirely new unit, which would have taken 5 minutes to install. I don't blame Joe, and he was apologetic, but I was pretty annoyed that I had to work so hard not to be overcharged. I just hope that the problem is actually fixed. I won't know until the first batch of ice is made
The freezer section of this side-by-side refrigerator was showing temperature swings between -3 and +13. GE said they could come in a week. We called some top rated Angie's list providers and they did not want to come work on this "high-end" appliance. Bay Appliance Repair was suggested by one of them. We called and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Jon came on time and took apart the inside of both sides and said there did not seem to be anything wrong with the mechanical parts, freon, etc. He wiped everything down and reassembled it efficiently. He vacuumed the fan and coils in the back. He said the only thing likely to be wrong with it after checking everything else was the computer part - the motherboard. At that point we could have said thanks much and paid him the diagnosis fee of 99 dollars but we felt that if there was a problem starting after six years perhaps this would be a good time to change that. He said fine and called to make sure the right part was available. He immediately drove to the parts supplystore, picked it up and installed it. The part was $250 the labor 150 but the "diagnosis" charge was applied toward the labor charge. It was a very reasonable charge for lots of professional labor. Jon explained everything and was patient and not pressuring us. I think he was surprised that we chose to get the motherboard changed in advance of more problems. He left our home pristine. The refrigerator took almost 12 hours to stabilize at the new temperatures but now works perfectly
The gentleman who used to come was courteous, always on time, and had done his job in a timely manner. Appliance Express Repair has always been able to get back to us immediately, and have seemed to be really on top of their game. We?re happy with their service.
It happened in November and he was back a couple of times in December. It just took forever to get parts. He was the only guy we used. Their service was good, it was just getting the parts for our refrigerator ended up taking several weeks to get. Once we got those then there was something else wrong that took completely unrelated parts. So then we needed to order that one and it took another week to get that part. The whole thing took, like, five weeks to get fixed. It was bad timing, you know, because of the holidays
The stove had been broken for a year or more. Lots of wiring needed to be redone and several parts were required. They came three times to complete the job, no charge for the extra visits. Super employees, great attitudes. They win my appliance repair business.
I called Don at GSAR because my 2 year-old LG refrigerator was making a terrible humming noise. Don arrived promptly and immediately diagnosed the problem-the freezer door wasn't shut all the way and was causing the fan to malfunction. Don then explained that this is a common issue with this refrigerator and told me how to avoid this issue in the future. He then told me that if the problem returned to call him and he'd come out again for free! While he was there I asked him to look at our gas stove and the two burners that weren't lighting. He quickly assessed the broken igniter and then told me how to get replacements on Amazon and install them myself-easy! All in all, I learned a lot from Don (as did my 14 year old son, who is not easily impressed!) and now feel more confident that I can keep my appliances in good running order. Don went above and beyond my expectations and I'd use him again in a heartbeat
Service all major appliances in the South Bay Area. Authorized service provider for Viking Corp. Mention Angie list you'll get a $10 discount toward the repair. Special rate and billing offer for property managers.
Tom arrived on time, was clean and neat, and well organized. He had clearly done this before, and finished in 35 minutes. He re-assembled the cooktop, and thoroughly tested all functions, even ones he had not worked on. The service was excellent, from start to finish.
Great service. The first phone contact gave a complete and accurate description of the process and the costs. We were lucky enough to get an appointment for the next day, and the service rep called 10 minutes before arriving at the house. Repairs were made quickly and we got a good explanation of what had gone wrong and how to look for it in the future. Very happy with the experience and would definitely use them again
