This review is pending a resolution from Certified HVAC. I'll gladly edit it on resolution. Last year, we had a big problem with certain rooms in our house not heating or cooling appropriately, never quite heating or cooling as much as we wanted, with one room never heating or cooling at all. We had Certified come out, and they quoted us what they said would be a "solution" - replacing the ductwork in the house in its entirety, which was quite expensive. On completion, the result was certain rooms overheated - our kitchen scorches, other rooms freeze, thermostats that used to control certain zones no longer do. Furthermore, the new ducts rattle like there are ghosts in them. They came back in to "fix" this to tell us that, in fact, the balancing was off, but refrained from actually changing said balance. They came back again to say that, well, actually it's the furnace, the furnace is too small, which...even if it was, it doesn't explain why the heat is so unbalanced. My wife mostly dealt with them, and they've been nothing but condescending and unreliable. They have since basically gone dead on us, despite a 5-figure bill and, what I'd argue, a totally useless job done. I feel defrauded, and I am so uncertain of their willingness to help that I've retained legal counsel

I called First American Home Warranty regarding heating issues. They sent AAA Furnace out to help. Although the crushed duct was not covered under the warranty, they straightened the duct as much as possible to keep me going and reconnected to the floor vent. They gave me a very reasonable quote at that time for a full repair and a cleaning of the furnace and the rest of the ductwork. I called them a month later to schedule a time for the repairs. They were punctual. They did all the work and found that they had the wrong duct size. They installed the larger duct anyway to keep me going and called the next day to schedule coming back with the correct ductwork. I was impressed with their professionalism and follow-up. I would use them again

Dan's Air Duct Cleaning
During the process of cleaning the ducts there equipment became snagged. While trying to free the device they found that there was a separation of the ductwork under the house. While they continued their work. I went to the hardware store and bought some aluminum duct tape so that I could address the issue. They told me that since they had to go under the house to address their snagged equipment. That they would wrap the separation for me. That was actions far above what they were contracted to do. This is emblematic of a Company that believes in SERVICE to the customer. I would recommend them to anyone at anytime

The area that's visible from the crawlspace entrance looks excellent, with the ductwork and insulation done correctly and the vapor barrier being very neat and clean looking. The duct testing company reported that all of the ductwork passed the pressure tests with flying colors. Short version: the work appears to have been done professionally and correctly. They showed up when they said they were going to show up, and the job cost what they said it would cost. They had originally projected that the job would take 2 days to complete, but they ended up staying late and getting the job done in 1 day, which my family and I greatly appreciated. Net here: good quality, on time, on budget, and professional. I would absolutely use them again

It went extremely well. The workers were friendly and relatively quiet. They answered questions and kept the working areas clean. There were some latent issues getting the solar energy system to work, but the folks at Moore Heating stayed with it to the very end. The advertisement that drew us to Moore Heating stated that they had acquired a large inventory of furnaces and offered a new furnace at an attractive price. When the salesman came to our home, we got the impression that the ad was only a door-opener, as he put together a program that included the furnace, solar, ductwork, insulation and A/C. While the amount was somewhat staggering, the salesman showed how the project could be financed through California First, whereby the cost is amortized over 20 years and added to our property tax bill. With some reluctance, we decided to proceed, as the idea of having air conditioning was appealing. About the time the project was completed, the summer heat came on strong and we were so comfortable and thankful that we had the project done. The folks at Moore Heating were wonderful to work with and we would highly recommend them to anyone

To clean the air ducts, they used a vacuum along with a high powered specialized air duct cleaning system. The system was attached to their service van. They were extremely clean in the process. They recommend having another air duct cleaning within 3 to 5 years.

When we bought this house, we found out that the ductwork had asbestos (though supposedly safely taped). Also, a contractor we hired said the ducts were leaking at the seams. Thus we decided to replace the ducts. Based on good reviews from Angie's List we called A&H. A technician came out in about a week and gave us an estimate, which seemed within a reasonable range based on feedback we had gotten from other contractors. We scheduled the job, and the crew came out within two weeks. The asbestos guy, Scott Bunce, was excellent. He spent one day cleaning up the old ducts. The A&H team came out the next day. Overall the job took 3 days including the asbestos cleanup. The job was done very professionally with good quality as far as I can tell so far. It was about two weeks ago, and the air conditioning system works better than it used to

Unfortunately and not healthy, I my air ducts and vents have been serviced long time ago and a bad smell start to appear each time I turned the heater or air conditioning on, so after investing good amount of time online by research and contacting a few air duct companies, I contacted Attic Masters from LA. Their customer service was very professional and friendly, they explained to me what should be done and they were able to schedule an appointment two days after. Their workers came over on time and day and finished the work within just 4 hours of work. Our home smells great now, and my kid's don’t complain anymore about any bad smell have and we all happy

They did a good job and even their clean-up was fairly thorough. But with that amount of over 23 years build-up there is NO way they could have done a better job, there is going to be residual dust. My issue is that they sold me an electrostatic filter for one of our returns for $150. It doesn't fit, I called and was asked if my call could be returned It is now almost 45 days later and still no call back and I am stuck with useless, expensive filters. Their work was exception, the filters suck

After reading positive reviews on Angie's List about this contractor, I called to have my old system serviced because it had stopped working. Tim came out, and after checking the system, recommended replacement. He provided me with estimates on several systems, being sensitive to my concerns about cost. At no time did I feel pressured to purchase anything from them. After I selected a system, Tim explained how Moore Mechanical would obtain necessary permits, schedule a remediation company to remove some asbestos wrapped pipes, and install new ductwork and the HVAC system. Throughout the installation, the workers were respectful and worked hard during very hot weather. They left the work areas neat and clean. The office personnel were great to work with...keeping me informed about scheduling. The system has been in for a year and I am very happy with it.
