We moved into our new house in January and the guest bathroom did not come with shower doors so we selected and purchased our shower doors at a local home store and found Tim via Craigslist and found him to be knowledgable and easy to communicate with during our initial discussion which he quoted us for about 2 hours of his time to install the shower doors. When Tim arrived he helped me unload the doors from my vehicle and I showed him the downstairs bathroom where the work would be done. He began working and I checked on him a couple of times and noticed that after a couple of hours he had barely done anything...even though he told me that he used to work for Sears and had installed hundreds of shower doors. After a couple of hours of work he had to leave and would be back the next day to finish up. The next day he arrived and began his work again and finished up after another 3 hours bringing his total to 5 hours of work, which he had originally quoted 2 hours and was charging me by the hour (strike one). Upon completion I inspected his work and noticed that the silicon seal seemed wet and asked about it and he gave some lame excuse about it being water from when he cleaned up. This bathroom is in a downstairs bedroom that we were prepping to get ready for a family member coming to visit...note that this home is a new construction and that room/bathroom had never been used to this point in time. About a week later after the job was completed I was getting everything ready in the room/bathroom for our guest and was going to clean up some of the mess that Tim left behind and this is when I really noticed the BIG problem(s) which caused me to thoroughly scrutinze his work with a much more keen eye!! First off, I noticed what appeared to be smudges of white silicone/caulking seal on the linoleum flooring...as I got down to clean these spots up, as I did, I noticed that under each spot there was a dent/hole in the linoleum!! It was as if he dropped something heavy/sharp while working and rather than fess up he tried to cover it up (shame on you!!). Next I noticed that the silicone seal around the shower doors still had that wet feeling...almost like it was some old cheap silicone that he had used? And I see that the metal frame of the shower doors (the top rail system) that needed to be cut to fit, well he didn't file off the metal burrs from the edge so now there are sharp metals burrs stiking out, which means I will neet to take this apart and file the edge and replace as to not have a safety hazard - UGH!! Lastly there were a few scratches on the sink counter as well as a permanent marker pen mark (like from a Sharpie) on the inside of the shower enclusure where he was marking where to drill a hole or something, but looks like his first mark was wrong...and now it won't come off. I've not contacted Tim about this as my only words would be explitives to express my displeasure!

Richard is the best! He is honest and communicates well. This is the second time we've had him come to the house and we are very impressed. You won't go wrong with Richard, truly. The first time he fixed a leak by replacing a kitchen valve.

I'm a property management. Our handyman was on vacation. Richard helped me to work on the project during his busy schedule. He did a lot of extra works to match the style without charging. The quality is much better than I image. At the same time, the communication with him was excellent. He was a pleasure to work with

After receiving a bid from Richard to fix my shower door, hang a couple of curtain rods and replace a light cover in my kitchen, I made an appointment to have the work performed. Richard arrived on time and did all work as requested. He is courteous and professional and I'm happy with the work performed especially the shower door which has given me problems the past few years. The only thing I'm not completely happy with (and I don't really think it's Richaed's fault) is now that the new curtain rod has been installed the other smaller rod that is on the same window is visible and a bit of an eye sore. I may ask if there is anything Richard can do about that. In his defense, it wasn't in the statement of work. I am also planning to hire Richaed to hang a new chandelier in my dining room

Purchased a Big Deal from Angie and received a follow-up phone email the next day. Later arranged to meet by phone. I had originally thought I needed more serious work done, but Kerry was able to make less expensive recommendations based on his experience. The final product looked nice enough to sell my house and get compliments on Facebook

My shower door was stuck in place and couldn't be separated. They came and identified the problem quickly (frozen rollers), went and purchased them at the hardware store and replaced them quickly. Tool Time Home Improvement

I contracted Tool Time Home Improvement, after my original contractor failed to do a good job and was subsequently fired. Eric, who owns Tool Time, responded to my call immediately and provided me a very fair price to do the job. He was very polite, friendly and professional in his approach. They started the work within two days. Mathew who actually did the work was also very polite and friendly and knew his job very well. They corrected the mistakes made by the previous contractor and built a beautiful, tiled shower for us. I am very thankful to both Eric and Mathew and strongly recommend them to anybody who wants to hire an honest and capable contractor. In fact I will be using them to do some work in our other bathroom and probably remodel our kitchen as well, very soon

Alberto was professional, punctual, and very accommodating to our schedule. We had a list of things we wanted done around the house, and Alberto was able to complete each project in excellent time. Although some projects proved to be more complicated than originally anticipated, Alberto was able to give us exactly what we wanted. The quality of his work is superb. We were very pleased with his eye for detail, and he left every work space in a better condition than when he found it. We will call him again for future home improvement projects
It went very well. Mark was very responsive from the beginning to get us a quote. He showed up on time and did the job well. He even procured the shower door for us to keep the project from slowing down. He followed up a couple of times after the work was completed to make sure everything was OK. Overall, a great experience
I hired Joe’s team to finish a bathroom remodel. Turns out we had to tear out everything the previous contractor did and start from scratch. I really liked Joe and his team of professional people. I loved their happy disposition and excellent work ethics. Long and short of it, while they were here, I added additional work I wanted to be done. They showed up on time every day with smiles on their faces and if there was a problem or issue that arose, Joe was on hand and a problem solver. This was an excellent experience for me and I would hire them over again. I have had a lot of work done in my home and have had many good and really bad experiences. I would highly recommend them to other people. Joe’s relationship with his crew was really amazing and it flowed over into their work

I have been using Hire My Husband for years, and they do a great job every single time! I had a recent unexpected move, and they were able to accommodate my schedule so I didn't have to live out of boxes for too long. They hung a bunch of shelves, 2 medicine cabinets, a mirror and artwork. I really appreciate the prompt response and reasonable pricing. They were here for more than 5hrs and had all the tools & supplies to get everything done
Mr. Kenney and son arrived on time at 8 AM. He walked through all the work that was to be done and identified all the parts to be used. He gave us a ball park of how long it would take and an estimate. They then set about doing all the work and got it done in the allotted time. We have no complaints about the work
Was recommended by neighbor via NextDoor. He was very responsive by email, was willing to help in short notice and gave a reasonable estimate. Showed up on time. Very professional and pleasant. Did work in a very efficient manner. Doing several things at once to minimize my cost and time. I found two other things that needed to be done but didn't have parts. Rather than bill me for time to go get the parts, he said he had to go to Home Depot anyway later that day and he would return to our place the next day. He didn't charge me anymore time than necessary and for all the jobs, it was only 1.5 h. Will definitely use his handyman service in the future. Very professional, very reasonable, punctual and honest
