Ray came out on the Saturday evening of Memorial Day weekend. He replaced the condenser on my GE Monogram fridge, which several other companies had told me they do not work on. I was at a loss as far as what to do until Ray called and said he was in the area, so he would come look, diagnose, and give an estimate. I had to have it fixed as it had already been several days of unsuccessfully trying to find someone to repair it. He had the part in his truck and very efficiently and quickly replaced the part. He was very polite and well informed as well. He told me exactly what he was doing throughout the process, and gave tips on how to keep it running optimally. Very pleased! Highly recommend RO Appliance to anyone! Thank you Ray

Sam did a great job. He showed up on time, told me my fridge was easy to repair and that it was less expensive to repair it than to buy a new one; and then very quickly repaired it on the spot.

Was on time for the 1st appointment. Was a tad bit late for the 2nd appointment but he called to let me know. My fridge was not getting cold but my freezer was. The problem was that the cold air wasn't getting from the freezer to the fridge compartment. I probably could have fixed this myself but i didn't have the time and wasn't exactly sure if i had figured out which part was bad. All mike did was read the debug paperwork at the bottom of the fridge and then run a self diagnostic through the fridge which then told him what part was bad. It took him like 10 minutes. I already had an idea what part was bad but he just confirmed it. Since he's probably seen this a million times he was fast and completely sure which part to order. His total cost for labor was about $80. The rest of the cost was for the part and taxes. So the major cost was the part which i would have had to buy if i did it myself. So i think $80 is a fair cost to get my fridge up and running again. He made an effort to not waste time since he was getting paid by the 1/4 hour... i thought that was nice. Since we had to order the part which would take a few days he showed me a way to rig the fridge so cold air would make it into the fridge compartment again in the meanwhile. That totally worked and we had a cold fridge again in a few hours after his 1st appointment

Jp Appliance Repair

It went excellent. JP Appliance Repair did an excellent job. Two techs came within hours of my call and spent the needed time to diagnose the exact problem. Then they ordered the part and followed up until the part arrived. As soon as the part came in, they came and installed it. The refrigerator works very well now. As a side note, the two techs were extremely conciouncicus and friendly. They wore masks, took off their shoes before entering the house, did not touch any of the food (it is COVID-19 period) and fully cleaned up when the repair was completed. I highly recommend JP Appliance Repair

Your Appliance & Refrigeration Repair

Our refrigerator went on the blink Monday evening. I called Your Appliance Tuesday morning. They were very helpful on the phone and went out if their way to schedule our repair for that afternoon. Alec showed up right on time, quickly assessed the problem and made the repair. He patiently explained why the problem developed and how we can prevent it from happening in the future. He also took a look at a couple of other problems in our home and ordered a new part for our microwave. The entire experience of working with Your Appliance was positive. A highly professional organization! We highly recommend them. It's great to find a repair service we can depend on

Cal Tex HEATS LLP

My refrigerator went out while I was away and the initial service company that I called determined that the condenser was out. Because of the age of the refrigerator, they weren't sure they could get it repaired and suggested purchasing a new one. The cost of a new one was $4100 (Sub-Zero). I checked the Sub-Zero website where Cal-Tex as identified as a certified repair service. I contacted Cal-Tex and Kathy immediately returned my call. She had a repairman (Rod) at my house within 30 minutes. He promptly located a new condenser and returned that afternoon to repair the refrigerator. He was extremely courteous and did a great job. Kathy stayed in touch and was terrific. I was incredibly pleased they were able to come the same day, make the repairs promptly and the price was certainly far better than a new refrigerator. I'd call them again in a heartbeat

Kelly's Appliance Center

Dane was a wonderful tech. He did a good job of quickly assessing the problem and had the board with him to fix it. He had an honest conversation with me about costs and asked important questions about my 'love' of my appliance or not as to be most cost effective. He also shared with me the cost of the control board and what Kelly's would charge me, which was less then the cost showed. In addition Dane helped me resolve an issue with a screw on my dryer, which just took a few minutes as we waited to check on the Fridge after the new board was installed. Dane was professional and I appreciated his time

E&J Appliance Repair

Excellent. He came out the next morning, exactly as promised. Professional, knowledgeable, reasonably priced. He also cleaned up after himself. Polite guy who knows his trade.
Javiar was very professional. He had good knowledge and was able to find the problem quickly. He ordered the part and returned to install it promptly. I would definitely call him again.
Gilbert responded promptly to my call for help. Our relatively new dishwasher was not draining. He quickly found the problem and fixed it for a very reasonable price. This is the second time he has helped us out. I keep his card magnet on our refrigerator. I like his common sense, practical advice and reasonable prices
A repairman came out the next day, quickly diagnosed the problem (faulty relay/overload module, a common refrigerator failure), and replaced the faulty assembly. The repairman was friendly and professional; he also helped me better understand exactly what had gone wrong with the refrigerator (which, as an engineer, I appreciated)
It went nearly without a flaw. On Thursday I placed a call into Comtec. Alberto came over that afternoon, precisely as promised. He looked at the dishwasher and immediately diagnosed it as non-functional motor. He also apologized for the price of the replacement part. He then explained that he might be able to repair it that day or early tomorrow morning, depending on the part availability. At the precise time the next morning I received a call that the part wasn't yet in and it would be an additional couple of hours wait. He arrived when promised and repaired the dishwasher. It is now cleaning again very well. While in the kitchen he heard the refrigerator making an incorrect sound and advised me to move it further from the wall. The refrigerator has since stopped making that sound and I'm happy that he took the time to point out such a problem, potentially saving us from expensive refrigerator repairs
The ice maker in our 3 year old Liebherr refrigerator stopped working. Their service network is sparse - only two appliance repair shops to serve the entire San Francisco Bay area. The shop was good about setting an initial appointment, and Joe arrived within the 2 hour time range they gave. Although he was a nice guy, I got the impression that this wasn't a model he worked on a lot, so it took him some extra time to remove the ice maker. It was clear which part had broken, so he put everything back together and said he would put the part on order. I didn't hear back for about a week so I called for a status update and asked them to order the part. I left on vacation for 10 days and when I returned I called to schedule a return visit to install the new part. They were a bit backlogged and scheduled me for the following week. Joe again arrived on time with the part. He said that rather than order an entirely new unit they had ordered a kit, which he thought would save me some money. Unfortunately, disassembling the old unit proved difficult and required a long call in to the shop for help. In the end, whatever savings might have been gained by ordering the kit was largely eaten up by extra labor charges. When it came time to pay, I saw I was being charged $275 for a complete new icemaker, rather than $95 for the kit. It took Joe 3 calls back to the office to finally convince them that he had not installed a new complete unit. Had I not been persistent they would have charged me the higher price. As it was, I was charged $120 in extra labor because of the long assembly time. In hindsight it would have been better to get an entirely new unit, which would have taken 5 minutes to install. I don't blame Joe, and he was apologetic, but I was pretty annoyed that I had to work so hard not to be overcharged. I just hope that the problem is actually fixed. I won't know until the first batch of ice is made
The freezer section of this side-by-side refrigerator was showing temperature swings between -3 and +13. GE said they could come in a week. We called some top rated Angie's list providers and they did not want to come work on this "high-end" appliance. Bay Appliance Repair was suggested by one of them. We called and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Jon came on time and took apart the inside of both sides and said there did not seem to be anything wrong with the mechanical parts, freon, etc. He wiped everything down and reassembled it efficiently. He vacuumed the fan and coils in the back. He said the only thing likely to be wrong with it after checking everything else was the computer part - the motherboard. At that point we could have said thanks much and paid him the diagnosis fee of 99 dollars but we felt that if there was a problem starting after six years perhaps this would be a good time to change that. He said fine and called to make sure the right part was available. He immediately drove to the parts supplystore, picked it up and installed it. The part was $250 the labor 150 but the "diagnosis" charge was applied toward the labor charge. It was a very reasonable charge for lots of professional labor. Jon explained everything and was patient and not pressuring us. I think he was surprised that we chose to get the motherboard changed in advance of more problems. He left our home pristine. The refrigerator took almost 12 hours to stabilize at the new temperatures but now works perfectly

What do customers in San Jose say about Refrigerator Repair?
Gil property diagnosed it after another appliance repair guy tried to fix it 3 times and failed. He identified the correct malfunctioning part, replaced it, and everything has worked fine since, Would highly recommend. One improvement he could use...He does need to be more conscientious about giving written bids or receipts.
