Recent Review: I called and spoke with them about the problem, making sure it was an appliance problem not a plumbing problem. They have a diagnostic fee of $55, which was applied to the price of any repair. The technician was prompt for our appointment. He explained that the dishwasher was fine, but that the valve was missing a piece. He was really nice and explained everything. He replaced the whole valve, and was very accommodating about the whole process. He even double-checked the drainage under the sink, after he was done to make sure it was working correctly.

Recent Review: Lowe's hired this company to install the dishwasher. Lowe's said they usually do a great job. Paid $129 for the install, which stretched out over 3 solid weeks. Appliance Repair Heroes insisted on site inspection which seemed like a good idea. First round that was only inspection: missed the fact that the dishwasher was hardwired (no plug to outlet). Upon return for install, the installation technician figured this out within 3 minutes. Missed seeing the existing outlet entirely. Required that I have an outlet installed by an outside electrician. Correctly identified the fact that the water valve handle was stuck but made no attempt to correct it. After they left, two valves began leaking. Had to call in a plumber to unstick the valve (additional expense) and fix the plumbing leaks. Second round: Identified issue with existing outlet that could have been identified the first time. (but they were correct) The entire outlet was dependent on a switch for the garbage disposal being on. Had to be corrected with an outside electrician at great expense. Third round: installed the dishwasher correctly with no additional technical problems, then ran a test cycle with the paperwork (manual, model # pages, etc.) INSIDE the dishwasher. All soaked! $500 later (installation costs only), I have a functional dishwasher. Lowe's is replacing the paperwork.

Recent Review: It went great. Max arrived within the time window and went right to work. He found a chip of pottery stuck in the pump and was able to repair without replacement parts. We were charged $60 for coming to our house to take a look. Max was at the house for about an hour. Our total bill was $180 (including the $60).

Recent Review: They were very professional. He covered the counter to make sure nothing was scratched. I really liked him. They were pleasant to work with. I even had a problem with my dishwasher and they fixed it while they were there.

Recent Review: It went nearly without a flaw. On Thursday I placed a call into Comtec. Alberto came over that afternoon, precisely as promised. He looked at the dishwasher and immediately diagnosed it as non-functional motor. He also apologized for the price of the replacement part. He then explained that he might be able to repair it that day or early tomorrow morning, depending on the part availability. At the precise time the next morning I received a call that the part wasn't yet in and it would be an additional couple of hours wait. He arrived when promised and repaired the dishwasher. It is now cleaning again very well. While in the kitchen he heard the refrigerator making an incorrect sound and advised me to move it further from the wall. The refrigerator has since stopped making that sound and I'm happy that he took the time to point out such a problem, potentially saving us from expensive refrigerator repairs.
