Detail Pro Painting
I needed my wood carriage type garage door and 30 feet of cedar fence refinished and stained after 9 years of wear. I also needed the wood trim around the house repainted. It was hard for me to find a painter who would take on this relatively small job. Previous businesses I contacted even through Angies List either weren't interested in the size of the job or wanted to paint the garage door rather than stain it. Detail Pro Painting understood what I wanted and made it happen. Their attention to detail for both the prep work as well as the actual staining were quite superb. They power washed, bleached, sanded where needed and masked off the adjoining areas very meticulously. There was no "overspray" or bleed when they were done. I am really very happy with the job they did. Manny the owner communicated well and understood what I desired. I believe that this company takes pride in their quality and does not charge extra for it

SO UNIQUE PAINTING & DECORATING
Bob came out within a couple of days of initial call to review job and was able to quote bid before leaving. He was very flexible to the start date as I was waiting for a patio door to arrive that held the painting up a bit. When the patio door came in 2 weeks earlier than expected Bob was able to adjust on the fly and begin my project within a couple of days. The total process took about 3 days, washing one day and two days of painting which I appreciated because I had other projects lined up behind it and couldn't proceed until painting was done. I also had them paint and replace shutters. One of my shutters came in damaged so they had to come back which they did once I had it replaced (about 3 weeks later). All and all they did great work and I am really enjoying the new look of my house. They are very reasonably priced and I would hesitate to hire again. My only critique is that I would have like to have seen the owner at the house a little more. I had to give instructions to their workers on items that would have been missed during the my initial conversation with the owner

Ad stated 8 Hours of Painting. First appointment painter cancelled the day before due to overload of existing jobs. Painter arrived following week where home owner called in for Jury Duty. Painting managed by Realtor and despite explicit written directions turned into numerous questions to what to do. Painter arrive at 9 but took lunch which is fine but I arrived to home at 4 and no painter in sight. My neighbor watering his lawn said he got home at 3:45 and no one was around? Called painter and he stated he left at 4:15 BUT oddly I was there at 4?? If you do the math of 8 Hours of Painting, the numbers don't work?? If for what was actually painted, I would have needed a painter for a week

If the crew supervisor thought something didn't look right (paint color choice to relocating cables to repair issues( he brought it up rather than simply continue with the work as initially outlined. Price was more than hiring some college students on summer break but was very competitive for a professional painting contractor that yielded far superior results. This is a professional organization who can put a large enough crew together to get work done efficiently. These folks know what they are doing and they do it well

They are in the process of changing contact numbers (good phone number is 650-678-0393), so we contacted them through the e-mail feature in Angie's list. They came out the next business day and e-mailed us back a quote. We had them start the work that week. Very prompt. Extremely clean, professional work. They even did additional inspections/work at no extra charge. We already have them lined up for some interior work and a whole house exterior job

Sunwest painting did an excellent job! I hired them to paint my living room with vaulted ceilings (20 ft) as well as the full exterior of my two-story house. I got an accurate and speedy quote, the crew was on-time and courteous, matched the quote, did good work, and cleaned up afterwards. They even hung some custom shutters on the outside of the house after painting them. I had some scheduling issues around refinishing my living room hardwood floors that they were able to accommodate graciously. I'm very pleased with the results and will definitely be calling on Louis and team next time I need some painting done
