They gave us a fair estimate without any pressure and were efficient for scheduling. When it came time for the fix, they arrived on time and worked quickly. After they fixed it, it turned out there was a surprise bunch of tampons wadded further in the pipes. They came back to make sure everything was fixed and worked well. Thank you Mike

The company was able to get a technician to our home the day after I placed the call asking for help. The technician arrived on time and had everything he needed to be able to complete the job. He was very friendly, informative, and efficient. The job was completed quickly and cleanly and the finished product was tested to make sure everything worked as it was supposed to. He cleaned up the job site and took all of the old parts with him when he left

My ADU toilet did not flush, and it was not a conventional fix. Carlos was the first one responding to my service request. After a brief call and a few pictures over the phone, Carlos was able to identify the possible cause of the problem, and got the right part on the way to my property an hour later. Everything is great! The way Carlos and his crew member performed the job was swift, neat and clean! They installed the new sewage pump very quickly. No doubt he has 18 years of plumbing experience! He installed back the toilet and cleaned up the mess that the previous plumber left without additional charge. I will definitely hire him next time for any plumbing need in the future

These folks have a level of integrity that I haven't often seen in this area. After they replaced the pump and we used it satisfactorily for a few days, they called and said that they had just discovered that the pump was not large enough or tough enough for the application, and that they would return with the right pump and install it at their expense, which they did. I would never have known anything was wrong if they hadn't told me

PLUMBER WAS POLITE AND SEEMINGLY KNOWLEDGEABLE. LEFT HIM TO HIS WORK - UNFORTUNATELY DISCOVERED HE HAD LEFT A BIG MESS FOR ME TO CLEAN UP INCLUDING ON CARPETED STAIRWAY TO FINISHED BASEMENT AS HE LEFT WITH OLD SEWAGE PUMP. I DID NOT DISCOVER THIS UNTIL HE LEFT. CALLED AND SPOKE WITH THE OWNER WHO WAS VERY CONCILIATORY AND DID DEDUCT ABOUT $50.00 FROM TOTAL BILL. I THOUGHT HE HANDLED THE SITUATION VERY WELL

INTEGRITY BEFORE PROFIT: Their slogan says it all. Earlier in 2005/2006, another plumbing company had worked on this and left me a very dissatisfied customer. Upon my pointing out that the pump was not running the way it should, they (i.e. the "other" plumbers) claimed to know better and said "that is how it is supposed to run". I was informally referred to Valley Plumbing by the City of Pleasanton for whom they do work. When they showed up, I found the supervisor (Daryn?) to be patient and methodical. And utterly honest. They charged me for fewer hours than actually spent (need I say, without my asking!) when they realized that they had initially misdiagnosed the problem. The pump system is complex and needs several adjustments before it stabilizes. Valley Plumbing has been kind enough to make extra visits (need I say, at no charge!) to make the necessary adjustments. This is one plumbing company that takes customer satisfaction seriously. Kudos to them. May their tribe increase

They replaced pump and then found that the tank that stored water was leaking and they replaced that too. They came promptly, worked efficiently and addressed problems that came up with alacrity and in a friendly manner. I would have preferred never to have the problem, but they handled it well.

Ward Construction did an outstanding job -- the work was very high quality and the prices were more reasonable than the other bids we received. We've had many rains since then and no more problems with basement flooding. Great work!

I have always been very satisfied with them. They have always been on time. We had to move our well because the casing rusted through so they found a new location. They had to go lower because there was a septic tank about it. They handled everything with the county. They come when I have problems. They have replaced pumps in the past. They have always done a good job and they come right away. I haven't compared their prices but I think they are reasonable

Superior Plumbing & Drain Cleaning Services

This was a very complex job overall. Our pump was located underneath a very small crawl space. The larger tank had to be moved to another area due to the size. Things were more complicated due to needing to work with an electrician to rewire the whole setup. Finally, we had to search for the clean out, which took a lot of time and investigative tactics. Throughout the course of several long, tiring days, Vince and Rudy were exceptional. They were thorough, thoughtful, courteous, professional, and made sure to do everything the right way, not the easy or fast way. Several times, they could have taken short cuts, but they knew how important this was to us, and did everything with much care. They went above and beyond and worked long hours, ensuring that they would get things done as fast as they could, all the while making sure the quality would be perfect. I tried to be completely honest with this review, and marked a "B" for punctuality, as I did have to wait a little for them to come on their initial visit. However, I now understood why they were late as they clearly take their time to be thorough and to provide quality work. They were definitely worth the wait! I was surprised at not only the quality of their work, but how much care and consideration they took to make sure our needs were met. Thank you Vince and Rudy

I called Ron and told him that the circulation pump was defective. Ron and Jeff responded the same day I called, and arrived with a new circulation pump. They quickly descovered that the circulation pump was not defective and did not have to be replaced. The valve under the kitchen sink was the defective part. Jeff returned the next day and replaced the defective valve. This was significantly less expensive than replacing the circulation pump. Ron and Jeff were excellent in every respect, and I would highly recommend them

GOT KOI INC

Our pump gave up and the fish needed oxygen help. Matt replied super fast, came out within the hour at night and installed an air pump and gave us a very in-depth consultation about our pump and other "Koi" needs as we also are in need of a new filtration system. The very next day he came back and installed the new pump. We were impressed with his professionalism and speed and very glad about the help. Matt's passion for the fish shows :

Called in the morning after smelling the horrible smell of a sewage back up problem. Talked to a representative, who told me that they were booked for the day. However, after explaining the situation and expressing that I wanted someone that day, was told that someone would come out by the end of the day. William C. came out, did a fantastic job at figuring out the situation, then gave me several options to choose from

Super helpful and professional, support small business versus large corporate chains that treat employees like a cog in a machine and don’t care about their customers.
I called them Wednesday, 12/23, to discuss possibly repairing or replacing our dying 13 year old electric water heater. The sales rep on the phone seemed relatively knowledgeable, asked for a few pictures, and said he would get back to me the next day, possibly with installation by Monday. He didn't return the call, but I was able to call and reach him. He told me he would get back to me later that afternoon, but, once again, didn't. I didn't try calling the day after, since 12/25 is a holiday, but tried again the day after, and was unable to reach the sales rep - he was out sick. I tried restarting the process with another rep, but was having trouble finding anybody knowledgeable about heat pumps. After bouncing around their phone system (I might add, very poorly designed) for a while, I finally gave up and started looking at other installers. Unfortunately, nobody could match the price Fast water heater was advertising, so I kept trying them. I eventually was able to reach my original sales rep again, and he apologized for the inconvenience and was willing to get me started again, but then did a last check and said that we couldn't install in the space pictured because it was too close to a cabinet. Eventually after a few days of haggling and once I figured out how to move the cabinet, he scheduled me for installation, but several days after they originally predicted. The installation went well, and the contractors seemed to be knowledgeable. However, I was a bit surprised when I saw the bill - it was several hundred dollars more than the amount that the sales rep had estimated. Unfortunately, I hadn't thought to actually request a written quote, so I couldn't prove that the price was much higher. This still was the cheapest of the bids I got for this project, but it wasn't nearly as clear cut as I had thought it would be. They did quality work, so I would use them again

Note: this review is long over due. I've used SWAGS before for plumbing repair work at my house. So, when my parents were having plumbing problems, I called SWAGS. I'm glad we did after the running toilet repair was completed, the technician noticed a problem with how the toilet sitting. After further investigation by Jaime and his team, it was determined the sewer line was no longer connected to the toilet in the upstairs master bathroom. Turns out the sewer line pipes used back in 1975 were defective and now needed to be replaced. As a result, Jaime gave a thorough explanation of several options for repair to my father. Once it was decided which one would work for them, Jaime and his team began the work. My father was very impressed with how professional the team was. If he had question, Matt, the lead or another technician would provide a detailed answer. They would even show him pictures of the defective pipes and the damage it had caused. Considering my parents required to have the master bathroom functioning at night, the SWAGS team completed the work in a timely manner. My father was very happy with the work done and stated he would definitely use them again and would recommend them to his friends
Don't be like us and wait until a hundred year storm hits in the middle of a drought and floods your garage. Take care of your drainage projects now. Drainage Pros completed a French drain and sump pump project for us in January 2022. We knew when we bought the house last September that the house didn't have adequate drainage, but we thought we had some more time to figure it out before it would cause an issue. Enter Huge Storm, October 2022. Our garage started to flood because there wasn't adequate drainage and our crawlspace filled up with water. While my husband was outside soaked to the bone (picture Jack on the door with Rose in the middle of the Atlantic, it was sad) trying to finagle a Home Depot plastic drain solution to save our belongings, I called Drainage Pros. Unfortunately I wasn't the only one with this idea and the earliest appointment I could get was for January. Jonathan was assigned as our project manager and did the first assessment of our project. He was super professional and easy to talk with to plan our project. It was easy to get a hold of him throughout the project and ask questions as needed. Our job consisted of installing a French drain around our entire house, and a drain that connected our downspouts. It also involved tunneling under our concrete walkway in the front and replacing some concrete. It also involved installing a surface drain along the front of our garage and connecting that to the system. Based on our site elevation we also had to install a sump pump and discharge line to the street. I'm a civil engineer and I've taken on some home projects, but this was probably one of the biggest ones we've had to do so far. Lots of dirt moving, big holes, concrete work, electrical. They had to take apart part of our back deck to access the back side of the house and they put it back together sufficiently. Our foreman was Javier, and we really enjoyed working with him as well. He was super professional and new what was what. The whole crew worked REALLY hard, and did an excellent job. I was pretty nosy and took pictures the whole way and they were very accommodating to me. We also have animals and kids, and they were accommodating to them as well. They were good about covering holes and ensuring safety when they were off-site. The project was supposed to take three weeks and they got it done in two. I really can't say enough good things about our experience with Drainage Pros. They did a great job. I would absolutely hire them again based on our experience. The owner, Richard, came out and did his own inspection after the project was done. He was a delightful guy to talk to. And lastly I'll note that this crew left our house/yard/property in better shape than they found it. They put rock and sand back where it was supposed to go and even made us a nice walkway with some existing brick we had. Very happy with this project
The city identified my new property as having an inactive well. So, I called Dan Lynch the owner of Ash and Son. Dan is a rural soul. His foray into the city was quick and easy. After communicating with Dan and sending pictures of the job site, he was able to start permits with the city and begin work as if he had a direct line into the county water district office. The job was pricey, but done with quality and commitment to my needs; as I am planning ahead for a large landscaping project and needed the well to be clean and to code. I still have not heard from the city on the inspection and promise that there is no other required work to be done. It seems to me, due to the importance of keeping ground water safe and Federal laws in play; that the world of urban wells is precoscious. Dan completed the job in two days and the well is up and running
They were easy to contact, responsive to a request for visit and did an excellent job of education for an owner with little knowledge of the system. All of my further pump problems (and I'm sure that at some point I will have them) will certainly prompt a call to Capitola Pump.
Very good. Here are the details: called a number of companies that do sump pump work. Only these guys and another vinyl sheeting company came to the site. I chose these guys because their upsell wasn't as strong and I appreciated that. Our crawl space has a lot of ducting and not much space to crawl. They removed dirt, installed the plastic barrier and then the vinyl (?) sheeting. Epoxied it to the house. Finished as expected. Once they left, I went under the house and was very happy with the install - the points of attachment and fastening were strong and numerous. I was able to get around easily. The best part is the house now is smell free. I started by wanting a sump pump and ended with something altogether different, but I think my initial idea was bringing a garden hose to a forest fire. This is the way to go
They replaced pump and then found that the tank that stored water was leaking and they replaced that too. They came promptly, worked efficiently and addressed problems that came up with alacrity and in a friendly manner. I would have preferred never to have the problem, but they handled it well.

What do customers in San Jose say about Sewage Ejector Pump Installation?
We have 3 bathrooms serviced through 1 sewage ejector system. We thought the problem was a blocked drain in one of the bathrooms, but the plumber correctly identified that the problem was close to the sewage ejector pit. He fixed the problem and cleaned up completely. He gave us advice on how to keep the pipes clear in the future. Also, the plumber arrived within two hours of when I called the company, and right in the specified window.
