Steve made two appointments and never showed up. First appointment supposed to be after 12;00N, not till I called after 11:30 to check ETA , he said he could not make it. So we changed to be the next day after 12:00. He called that day in the morning around 10:00 and said he finished his other appointment early and would want to come within 30 min. I told him I had other commitment and could not make that time. He said he is in Salinas, it is too far for him to come back. Totally unreliable. If he thinks it is too far for him to serve, he should limit his service area to be Salinas only, not after confirmed the appointments but no show. There are lots of other committed professionals around. It's totally wasting time to deal with people has no credibility to start with

CSC was great to work with. Their sales person was responsive and eager for our business, but not in an annoying way. He assessed a bad job done by a previous vendor, and made recommendations of different options for re-work that scaled with our budget and needs. We got a great PTZ (point/tilt/zoom) camera and they set a patrol sequence that makes sense for our businesses's parking lot and side yard. They used some existing cameras that were still functional; and added a number of new cameras that were weatherproof and caught better angles for our security. They added a new DVR and phone app for remote viewing, and have returned for free service when the app had a buggy issue. After we had an issue with a prowler who damaged one of our cameras, they also returned for free to assess and rebalance the camera, and make sure it wasn't damaged. This is a company that obviously cares about its work, and the length of the client relationship. I'd gladly recommend their services, and call again as needed. -Tony Restaurant owne

We have been using several national big brand security systems for decades. After all this time, we are disillusioned with their business models. They overcharge for their products, they charge for installation, they lock you into crappy contracts, and they buy up all of the small security companies to create a monopoly. We were disgusted. When we discovered SimplySafe via online searches we were extremely skeptical. But, to our amazement, their system, staff, and business ideal are brilliant. Why can't everyone else be like these folks. What a great product. Simple and effective. More powerful in many ways than other dinosaur systems. Easy to install. And customer service is a dream to deal with. You would do quite well to dump your old security system for SimplySafe

One of the owners (who is a family head in this family run business) was rude on several occasions and insulting and not worth dealing with. I used this company for years in spite of equipment malfunctions (that they tried to charge us to repair) because of the otherwise excellent son who does a very solid job on their installs and he seemed to know his field well, was punctual, mostly cleaned up and also seemed honest. Though they are not insured, I didn't worry when in my home. When my system malfunctioned yet again, I asked for them to come for repair yet no one was available for 3 weeks due to vacation, they said. We went without functioning service twice and they still demanded payment though the system was not operating. They have no BBB rating and can not take online or auto payment through their own systems. Others in the office are aware of that owner's attitude and customer treatment. Look elsewhere

The security system came as advertised. Initially there was no need to contact them, as it was all self-installed and I had no issues with installation or getting it to work. Signing up for the monitoring service was also done online. Recently there was an issue with our base unit communicating with the monitoring center. The base unit came with Tmobile chip and apparently there was a signal coverage issue (even though our cell phone service is though TMobile and we've had no issues). SimpliSafe customer service was very responsive and sent me a replacement module with a Verizon connection. I had to uninstall the Tmobile module , install the Verizon module, and return the Tmobile module in the prepaid envelope that they provided. I had no trouble with the exchange, but this might have been a problem for someone not comfortable with opening up the base station, and changing electronic components. As long as you are aware that there is a DIY element to using SimpliSafe, I would highly recommend it

They were very well qualified. They talked about positioning cameras in different areas and why. They came when they said they were going to come. IKE'S ELECTRIC
He ran electric conduit to the location for the camera and then installed the camera itself. He then returned about a week later to clean the lens at no cost. He previously installed a security light outside on my deck on the second level in August, and then again in September installed a security light outside downstairs. Each job was done very well and I have had no problems with any of his work. Plus he is a very personable and nice guy

I was searching for a cheaper alternative to home security monitoring. My family and I are on a tight budget, and we could not afford the steep charges from Suddenlink and other local home security providers for their systems. The two things causing the services to be so expensive were: (a) the cost of the monthly phone service we would need, since we don't have home phone service, and (b) the cost of the monitoring itself. We would had to pay about $80 a month, or more with these traditional companies! Thankfully I found NextAlarm after some careful googling. They are a fraction of the price of any of their competitors. Their system appeals to me, because it uses the internet rather than a phone line, saving lots of money. Their monitoring itself (done in the traditional way, with real people in a dispatch office) is also substantially cheaper on top of that. I paid $250 for the home security kit and now I only pay $13.50 per month for the monitoring! Its so cheap that the costs are literally offset entirely by the savings to my homeowner's insurance premium. The support staff at NextAlarm are great. They are so patient, and they will help you with anything related to your system. I have called them numerous times with little questions about this or that, and they are always super nice and knowledgable. They even walk you through how to make changes to your security system, step-by-step, when you want to change delay or change the programs. Please make note of the fact that they do not have a local installer to do the installation. The third-party vendor who offers an and quot;Instal cardand quot; will not be able to install your service in East Texas (they will refund your money once they see where you need the installation). Point being, you will need to hire a local handyman to install the home security system for you. As I already mentioned, I used Stephan du Toit -- (www.facebook.com/professionalhandymanservices). He charged my $60. Besides that little hiccup, NextAlarm is amazing. In summary, I love my service. I hope more people in my area sign up with them. It is such a great deal and they're so great
