Said fixed the leaking pump but noted that there were some hazardous conditions caused by the way the unit was originally installed. Suggested that I call PG&E for a safety inspection. Did so and they confirmed that there were indeed small gas leaks due to faulty and ancient installations. PG&E did repairs and I am getting proposal for repair of the 90 year old gas lines. Really appreciate Said's thoroughness and honesty. Could not recommend anyone more highly

A & H Heating
Discovered that much of the heating ducting in my attic was not connected. Therefore I was heating the attic instead of the house. A&H came out and gave me two options; replace it all for $3500 or fix it on a time and material basis. Obviously selected option two. Manuel and Eddie showed up as scheduled, were extremely neat and courteous and fast. Would recommend them

I have used Standard Heating and AC for years, but this is my first review on them. I called them recently to fix the AC at a rental unit I own. As always, they delivered. The repair person was prompt (called me in advance that he was on the way), quicky found the problem and repaired the issue. I don't know if they are the lowest cost provider as I use them for all my heating and AC needs, but they always fix the problem the first time and are great to work with. All of their repair people are very professional. Ihighly recommend them and they will definately continue to get mu business

The installed a large unit for us, then they came back to work on a smaller unit. Fix worked for a week then crapped out. Came out and the fuse had jarred loose on the unit they had just fixed. $150 charge to plug it back in. Come on. Then the tech comes out today to work on the unit under warranty. Wasn't that unit. Charged us a 100 to show up and look at it. Tech reeked of booze. Don't know if he was hungover or drunk. Stay away from these guys. Called the office manager who didn't really seem to care. .....someone responded that "we aren't their customer and they want the review taken down." If you would like to see invoices with our address and work performed on it I would be happy to post. They also came out again yesterday to add a GFI to our unit they installed 5 months ago so it could finally pass inspection. Really thorough there guys. Like I said, if you would like bills as proof that they did work for us, i would be happy to post pictures

The experience of the project was superb. We were referred to ARM by our nieghbor who said they have used them several times. The experience was great because from start to finish the communication was excellent. We first got recommendations from our nieghbors on different HVAC companies. I was amazing to see how difficult it was to get an HVAC company to come out within 24 hours. It was in the middlle of a sweltering week and our ac was down. The two other companies I called took a full day to call back making it difficult for me to make a decision on who to choose for project. ARM was the only contractor to pick up the phone on the first call. It was a seamless experience. But I still wanted to get a couple quotes, so I waited for the other 2 contractors to call me back. After reviewing all the quotes, ARM came in the middle of the 3. Their quote was the most detailed and best value in our opinion. It turned out to be a bad coil in our unit that needed to be replaced. It was an older unit that we were deciding to replace soon but ARM did a great job explaining the pros and cons of both. We felt no pressure from them at anytime and made our decision easy. They did some repair work and also repaired some damage to the concrete pad under the unit which we were pleased. Overall ARM heating and cooling did a great job and were professsional in every way

I had a problem with my washer draining. Andrew from First California Appliances visited on the same day to make a diagnostic. He cleaned a filter but unfortunately a drain pump had to be replaced. He had the part in his car and repaired my washer immediately. I am very impressed by the professional service of this company. Great price, very quick and customer oriented. called them to have one of their techs to look at my broken AC. The guy on the phone was super nice and after letting her know that I've recently moved in, she told me although my AC unit is old but I may have warranty on the house which will cover the AC as well. I checked, and guess what, there was warranty and my AC was covered. Now I know who should I call to when my warranty is over
