I called this company because of its high ratings on Angie's list. I left a message requesting an appointment and was promptly called back and got an appointment for my requested day/date. On the day of the appointment I was called to say the technician would arrive an hour late, but he arrived at originally scheduled time. I explained that I had been unable to use the fireplace because of excessive smoke. The technician examined the chimney and said it was actually fairly clean. The reason there was excessive smoke was because the grate was too low. He ended up cleaning the chimney anyway. The technician was polite and informative. He was careful to put down a tarp to protect the floor and kept the area clean. Total service time about 15-20 minutes. It must be a standard flat rate regardless of time spent, so in my case I was paying more for expertise than actual work. Still, my fireplace is working perfectly now and I'm very satisfied.

Access to the chimney is difficult for my condo unit. The company cleaned the chimney from inside the house. This was no problem. Ron put down tarps before beginning to protect the white carpet and was very tidy, no mess. When he discovered excessive soot build up; he commented to me about the potential fire hazard, showing true concern for my safety. I learned something new. I will be calling them again in a year. Also, what I didn't know is that Chimney Clean cleans air ducts, dryer vents, and carpets. All services that I had been looking to complete. If I had known sooner, I would have hired them to do all of the above, but I had already scheduled other companies.

This company was good. They did a good job cleaning my chimney. The only problem was, they tried to do things that I could do myself. The people that came were really nice to us. However, they were a little pushy about some things that they thought needed to be done, that I didn't think did.

Called for a quote prior to buying the house. After we moved in, I called back, made an appointment and they came out and did the cleaning and general inspection. They verified the items found in the home inspection report and made some simple ecommendations for repairs that I could easily dtake care of. They cleaned the chimney (which has a white mantel and fascia) without and there was NO soot inside the house at all. The whole thing took about 45 minutes from start to finish, ending with a printed report.

Recent Review: Got an appointment that was two weeks out - OK, it is the busy season for fireplace work. Tech showed up on time, inspected and cleaned the chimney, gave me a report . The job was very clean. I'd give them an A rating but for the price - $189 for a half hour of work. Yes, it is Marin Co. where everything is expensive. Yes, they have the same flat rate for houses that are 1 and 2 storey. Still I'm unhappy to pay so much for so little time.

Recent Review: Moved into a new place so I wanted the chimney checked out and cleaned if necessary. Barbara of Warm Solutions was able to schedule a team of two to visit the next day. They came toward the late end of the 2-4 p.m. window. They brought all the equipment, including mats to keep everything around the fireplace clean, and were able to do the cleaning entirely from inside the apartment - no roof access needed. They cleaned out the soot quickly and left no mess behind.

Recent Review: Tony was very helpful and provided excellent service. He arrived a few minutes early and quickly assessed my chimney. My existing damper was old and warped and needed to be replaced. He explained the situation to me in simple terms and had a replacement damper with him. He also gave me some tips and tricks for how to have a better fire and produce more heat in the room. He was very courteous and cleaned up when he was done in under an hour. I would use him again and would highly recommend his service.

Recent Review: They were great. They showed up within the window given, they got right to work and cleaned out the chimney. They asked if I wanted a structural inspection. (they push on the chimney from the roof. Mine didn't move or fall down, so that's good!) We had a wire spark arrester but that doesn't protect from rain and we get a wet smell when it rains so I was glad for them to order and install the cap. We had some missing mortar on the inside near the top of the chimney and they repaired that. I was happy with the service and was glad that we knew, for sure, that we could use our fireplace safely!
