Duran Fencing
Bids from several companies. Another company was too busy to come out. High marks for Duran. For Duran, Jess (son of owner) bid significantly higher than another company. I wanted one company based on price; but my wife liked Duran's personal touch + Jess made several suggestions we hadn't considered. We asked Duran to match the other companies price. Unexpectedly, they did (Wow. I mean, they were seriously higher). We then increased the price $300 in exchange for them starting w/in 5 business days (vs. normal +3 weeks). The finished product is rectangular structure (+400ft), raised 3 feet, fencing, stairs, cut-out for slide and kids' stairs. Wood was excellent...work was conscientious and top-notch...workers were diligent/polite. Completed 5 days. We gave workers nice bottles of wine as thanks. Our neighbor, a hard-to-please commercial contractor, was very impressed with the work. Duran arrived EXACTLY at the scheduled appointment times (very appreciated). Duran built a great deck while the other company watched. See how easy it is to lose business? (note, the fence is well built and attractive). Deome 2 Builders Inc
I have a pretty large deck with two levels, partially raised supports on a hillside. I went with Deome due to their great reputation and reviews on Angie's List, and I wasn't disappointed. You can probably find lower estimates, but I just wanted to make sure the job was done right. Harley came and gave a thorough estimate, and helped us figure out some of the design details and options. He was very nice and helpful. I valued his opinions on materials, colors, etc. When it came time to do the job, Fred managed the project. Everything went very fast, completely on schedule. The crew was extremely competent, as they clearly build a lot of decks and know what they're doing. Everything was smooth and easy, and we had no surprises. These guys are very professional. In the end, the deck is beautiful, and we are really enjoying it

Mike worked very closely with us on the design and materials selection of this project. We have very limited knowledge about deck work, and he educated us about various types of materials along with their pro's/con's. He was meticulous in his work and ensured us the work was done right. Had to have our deck redone because the old one was coming apart. Jason made an estimate, and did an excellent job with the new deck. Worked with us on modifications that came up during the project, and found some problems along the way. Made reasonable suggestions at a fair price to resolve the issues. Completed the job in a reasonably timely manner. Also contracted him to repair our balcony, for which he found some problems that caused it to be unsafe. Completed this project, and also contracted to a painter to complete touch up work required as a result of construction. I have used Jason several times in the past for various projects, including kitchen repairs, and found his work to be of high quality, reasonably priced, and completed in the timeframe he promised, weather permitting. I would not hesitate to use him again

These guys are good. Really good. My husband and I started working with Joe back in February. They have exceeded our expectations in ways we didn't anticipate or realize were so important: they became our partners through what can be a fairly complex process. We wanted to build a deck on top of a 3-car garage, and then run a private stair case to it from an existing balcony. So we contacted Joe to discuss our project. From the very first meeting, when Joe's crew showed up 10 minutes early and waited outside for our appointment time (a consistent theme many months later), we knew we found our contractors. They explained their recommended approach, described different options that we could choose from, and described in detail the city codes that we needed to consider. They also spotted some potential issues with our existing construction and identified work-arounds. And they invited us to visit their current job sites to see their work. Within a few days, we received a detailed price quote, with all labor and materials clearly defined. Prices were quite reasonable. They also performed an analysis of our garage roof structure and determined that we didn't require additional bracing - shaving a large expected cost off of the project. They answered every request and worked with us to finalize our plans. Construction time: Their work was well planned, creatively designed, carefully orchestrated, and meticulously performed - and came out perfect. And we noticed several touches we didn't expect or think of that enhanced the appearance. They take pride and ownership in every phase of their work. And this is why we will continue using Joe's crew for future project We highly recommend TRUTH INC construction. You won't be disappointed

My new deck is FAR better than I could have hoped for! Tony's attitude of "No problem, we can do that for you" was key for us. He listened to our ideas and gave us a quote within a week or so. Along with the quote he added a few new ideas that were more visually pleasing (but more work for him) than what we had originally planned. He and his crew worked their butt off every day. I loved that he would take the time to explain what he was doing and why and he always communicated what step was next. All along the way he kept giving us new ideas to make not just the deck project great, but things he would do for the other parts of the yard not yet under construction. They were very concientious and committed to doing the job correctily. This included removing and disposing of all of the redwood deck which was probably at least 30yrs old. They disigned the new deck to replicate the old deck in size and style. The same for the rewood walk ways and retaining walls. At times they had to navigate around some asspects of the irrigation system which had some of the area control devices under the elevated red wood deck. They worked really hard to avoid and hickcups in the process as they removed and replaced the deck etc. They did a very good job of insuring that the water drainage pipes that are under the redwood walk ways was functioning properly and taking rain water to the drainage ditches. Where neccesary they replaced some the drainage lines. They did a great job of getting the job done in a timely manner but at the same time insuring that finished product was properly constructed

DECK WORKS
I bought the materials he told me to find and he installed it. He didn't put any bolts in, he just stuck nails in. He said I didn't need the bolts and that they were a waste of money. I have been trying to get them in for 3 or 4 years. Some personal matters came up and he told me he was no longer able to work on my project even though I paid him. First he had doubts, then he couldn't finish it. Then he was busy with other jobs and couldn't finish it. Now when you call him he doesn't always answer his phone. I find him too undependable and it really ticked me off. Now I am trying to get the people putting my siding on to put the bolts on now. It is pretty disappointing, it's not like I got a discount or anything. He had his son and an illegal man helping. His son was helping with the installation and I told him he was putting the railing on wrong but he called his dad and he told him he was doing it right. Now it is causing an issue for the people doing my siding. The price wasn't great, but it wasn't bad. He wanted to do my bathroom, but I definitely won't let him

We called J&M Termite Control when we found termites in our garage roof. They scheduled us for an appointment with Home Inspector Louis Bimbi. He examined our home inside and out, from top to bottom including the attic and crawl space. All his findings were marked on a map of the house. Using the map, Louis walked me around the house pointing out both major and minor problem areas, prioritizing what need to be done first, etc.. We also received a complete report of the inspection. Without this inspection, we would not have known where and when to begin repairs

Previous vendors had quoted the job with an additional $4,000 to $6,000 for scaffolding to deal with the three-story downhill side. ColorBlast was able to better my other vendors' quotes without the additional scaffolding charge so I engaged them to repaint the house. My wife and I are completely satisfied with the end result

The ADU build went great. Reza connected us with the architect and all other businesses we needed in order to get the job done. The 814 sq ft ADU blends in wonderfully. We added a deck, 150 sq ft of fencing, small pavers below the back deck. It went so well we had him update and complete work in the main house & referred to some friends

I am writing this review on behalf of Javier Flores I engaged Javier Flores to build a deck in my back yard. I could not be happier with the job he did. Javier and his brother Daniel arrived promptly at 8:00 a.m. each day and worked hard all day, with the exception of lunch. The two of them work together very well. When they finished the deck, I told them that I would sweep off the saw dust, but Javier wouldn’t let me sweep the deck, He told me I am paying him to perform that duty. Javier and Daniel are experienced hardworking men who value precision, and pay attention to the littlest of details. Our new deck is as stiff as concrete, no sags, no squeaks at all. I rarely used my deck and it started to show signs of termite damage, I had to seal it every 3 years alas decided to get rid of it. I had Dinh come by to dismantle and haul away my wooden deck. He did it in about six hours one afternoon then came by the following day to clean and tidy up. Dinh is dependable, gets the job done and his pricing is fair. I use him for most of my irrigation and small construction projects

But I choose Jack and his team because of their professional attitude. Jack is very responsible, patient and always on time. His crew are also hard working nice people. Since my deck turned out so nice, I've asked Jack to build a fire pit to replace my old spa too. Jack helped design work and gave me very helpful suggestions.
