San Antonio Shutter Installation

I can't say enough good things about this experience. James was very knowledgable, experienced, and courteous. He was able to offer great input and suggestions regarding selection of shutters. The shutters look awesome and he even hung a deer head for me at a difficult height. It has been a long time since I have experienced this level of service. Great job James and company!

After I called it took a couple days before he got back to me. But after that delay everything went very fast, John came by the next day to give us a quote on both the shutters and fence. After considering we opted to just have the shutters installed. After my wife showed John what she liked, he told us they could hand build them and stain them in the same color as the rest of the wood around the outside of the house. John had one of his workers called Sam come out. The shutters were installed in no time and after talking to Sam we decided to have him touch up the facia boards around the house too. Overall we are very pleased!

I received excellent service from Buck Massey. The exterior bahama shutters are custom made from western redwood and painted to my specifications. They installed them in brick and adjusted them as per requested. They were very professional and I recommend them to anyone wanting exterior shutters for their home.

They were good. Jim Barker did a great job communicating with us, good installation. I would highly recommend them. There was a little issue but the deal is there is an issue and everything and he took care of it. Another company in the area was going to charge me twice as much.

They made an appointment within two days and promised to complete the job within the agreed price. Melissa and Michael arrived on time and were ready to start the work with a long ladder and paint brushes. It turned out to be a much longer process than the two-hours I paid for in the "big deal" - but they kept to their bargain and finished the work without charging anything extra. The quality of their work appears to be excellent. It was well worth the price to get the job done without having to hang from the roof with a brush myself! I would recommend them for any small odd-jobs around the house.

From the coordination process with Tyler McDonald, to working via e-mail with Mark Lopez and Antonio Guzman to coordinate payments and date of install, to the date of installation with Brandon -- My family and I appreciate the company's responsiveness, flexibility, professionalism and attention to detail. The costs can become extensive; however, we are very happy with the product. We like this company so much that we are looking at future projects on our home with Cortina Shading Systems. We recommend this company to anyone looking to install external shutters on their home (same type shutters used in Germany/Netherlands...Europe).

I am moving and needed to get some repairs done and called up Doug who came out and gave me a great quote. I thought I needed to replace the back door and Doug took a look at it and determined we could repair it for cheaper than to replace it. Everything Doug fixed looks great and I will be having him back out again to do a final make ready for the place. Doug arrived on time and complete the jobs quickly and professionally.

Hollywood Crawford took over from a previous contractor who could not complete the job because of illness. They encountered a series of problems to include: 1. Damage to the initial shipment of the storm shutter.2. Initial storm shutter was not the model we initially thought it to be and items had to be replaced including the motor.3. The replacement motor did not function (defective from the factory) and another motor had to be obtained.4. Damaged cover had to be replaced.5. From start to finish, Hollywood Crawford made six visits (including the initial assessment visit) to our house until the job was completed. Throughout this long, laborious process, Hollywood Crawford maintained a cheerful attitude and assured us that all would be done to insure proper installation of the storm shutter. Everything was eventually completed to our satisfaction.The total cost was less than the original estimate we had received from our first contractor who couldn't do the job.
