On Sunday I used the self-clean feature of in-wall oven; it did not seem to completely clean the oven. On Tuesday, we realized the burners were not working even though the console, oven fan and light worked. Investigating on the internet suggested the problem was probably a fuse in rear of the oven. I do not have the capability of pulling out the oven myself or locating the part so I searched Angies List. After reading reviews, I selected Dand T and tried to contact them via Angie's List e-mail. THEY DID NOT RESPOND TO EMAIL SENT VIA ANGIE'S LIST, YOU NEED TO CALL THEM. I called Dand T on Thursday, they called back within a few hours. I had hoped for a Friday appointment but they gave me a Saturday morning appointment. They explained there would be a minimum $39 service charge to come look at the oven. I explained the problem and provided the oven's model number. 10:00 Saturday morning, Tony called, asked a few more questions, said the charge would probably be $205 - $80+tax for the part and the remainder for labor. Tony arrived about 15 minutes later. He brought a cart in to set the oven on, pulled the oven out of the wall, did some electrical tests on the back of the oven, confirmed it was the thermostat fuse that was the problem, replaced the fuse, pushed oven back into wall, and checked it. He also said this problem occurs on all brands of ovens. Tony also gave me some advice about my refrigerator. Tony said he does not work with Angies List even though he heard he gets good reviews.
