New home was being built and wanted whole house vac installed. My builder got a quote from them. We visited their store to see the vac system on the quote. Saw they also did security systems and audio. Requested a quote for all. Made some changes to the speakers and agreed to the quote. Work started while house was being framed. Only the wiring and duct work for the vac was done as expected. At that time they requested we pay half of the $6. Agreed as fair since it would be over 90 days for the house to be completed. I contacted the owner to get an updated quote for all the work, but only got the cost of the speakers I wanted. I went back to the store and spoke to the office manager and was told an updated quote showing my partial payment will be sent to me. Never did. Once the drywall was done they came back and installed speakers, cameras and security pad. The day of our walk thru inspection they requested the 2nd payment of $3k. During my inspection there were bare wires hanging in the closet where the security DVR and audio cables came in. No audio zone switch and no camera DVR, no speaker connections in the living room. The builder has no contract with them so they should be solely dealing with me the customer, yet they have not contacted me. I have never dealt with any contractor that wants full payment before the work is completed and customer is satisfied . The quote did not specify brand names/model numbers so it would not be possible to know what I was getting for the money. I plan to contact them once we get completely moved in and have a Certified Check waiting for the installers to complete the job.

We have used them for a little over a year now. They are responsive! We have had power failures and they reach out to us informing us of that. They have a better system in place than our last provider because the panel trigger is more accurate. It's harder to bypass the panel.

The system is installed by the Customer...however it is very simple and you can contact Life Shield for assistance. I never had to wait long and the Technician was very thorough in answering all my questions and walking me through the process. The website is great and it lets me set or disarm my system remotely for when I have family dropping by unexpectantly.

My husband travels fairly regularly so we decided to install a security system in our new home. Theo arrived on time and did a thorough inspection of our home to assess what kind of coverage would fit our needs. He was very polite and explained every step in the process. He installed a keypad, motion sensor, door sensors and window sensors in a timely manner and made sure to clean up after himself. Then he gave us a comprehensive tutorial on how to use the equipment (including the mobile app) and made sure we were comfortable with it. I would recommend ProTecht's services to anyone in the market for a home security system. They're incredibly professionally!

We’ve been using them for a year. The experience is really good and we’ve had no problems. They are very professional, nice, and helpful.

The technician was punctual, and the installation did not take all day. I wish there had been more explanation of how to set up codes, and other details about the system operation. It was obvious that the technician has given this speech a hundred times. It seems he has forgotten that this is the first time the customer has heard it. A bit of teaching training might be in order. The company website also was lacking in basic operation help.

When I have a problem, I just call their 1-800 number and they get in touch with whoever is the closest. Sometimes I guess people sell their business or just get out of it so I usually just call their 1-800 because I have had to call them like a couple or three times. I have to call them now, because the keypad has worn out and I will have to get a new key pad. I just haven't had the chance to give them a call. I haven't had a bad experience with them. I had the whole house done for $99 because they were doing things in the neighborhood and wanted to have an example, so I got my windows and doors alarmed, got backup battery inside and motion detectors, all for $99. Of course, there is a monthly fee and it has gone up a little bit but still I have never had any problems at all. The only problem I have is that I was told by the police that they don't answer regular alarm calls, that is low on their list and that is what I understood now. If you press the emergency button, they have to come as soon as possible but if just a regular burglar alarm is called in for a house, that is low on their list. If you press the panic button, they have to come out as soon as possible and that happened to me a couple of times with the little key control that I had, like your car. Unfortunately, it was in my pocket and it pressed the panic alarm and they were here within six or eight minutes, so it works. Technicians from ADT have come to the house when I have called, about maybe one or two times over the last fifteen to twenty years and I have been very satisfied with them. I don't see any reason to switch over. I have had many people to call me but I have no reason to switch over.

We decided to switch to a wireless home security system when we realized we no longer wanted a land line phone service. We talked to our security system provider that we had used for over 20 years and were informed that it would cost over $250 for installation and an additional $15 per month for the monitoring service. We checked around and found that Smith-Thompson had very competitive prices. After a thankfully short process on the phone, we set up an installation appointment. The tech, Kevin, arrived promptly and completed the work in less than an hour. He was courteous, friendly and informative. The follow-up contact with the firm has been just as smooth as the initial phone calls and the installation. We would highly recommend Smith-Thompson to anyone.

It ALL went great!! We were very impressed with every aspect. We had the honor contracting with Mobile Eyes to install our outdoor video surveillance system. We were very impressed with this company from the initial email to their office, to learning of the options and the entire installation process. I worked with John through the entire process and he was very responsive and answer all my questions. I was impressed at how quickly he would get back to me when another question came up during the sales process. It was a total of three days from the time I inquired to the day they installed ? over the holidays! I was very impressed. The crew was very respectful of our home and John took the extra time to show us how the system works and ensured we were pleased with the angels / views from the cameras. We installed their 1080p system and the quality is unbelievable. The residential systems they sell and install are really commercial grade! I HIGHLY recommend Mobile Eyes if you are considering any type of security system ? cameras, alarms, monitoring, locks 2gig, etc. Once we have fulfilled our alarm contract with another provider, we WILL be switching our alarm monitoring to Mobile Eyes!

They keep raising the prices for monitoring the system so I have considered changing companies, but the other companies won’t maintain the system as well so that it why I have stuck with ADT. You have to pay a service charge when you have them come out for maintenance, but at least they offer the service. I have had a couple of false alarms from the sensors going out or batteries dying. The return calls are not always prompt and professional.
