San Antonio Electrical Switch Installation

Technician Jacob arrived, very professional and polite. He removed old, defective switches, that started to arc and buzz, with new switches. He corrected wiring that wasn't properly accomplished when house was built. He checked our kitchen fluorescent light as there was a problem when turning it on. Advised it could be the switch or the light ballast. Replaced switch and light appeared to be functioning properly. Asked if we wanted ballast replaced and our decision was to wait to see if any problems came up. He advised if problems developed to call.

Out of 3 electricians contacted, he responded the fastest...the others called several days later! We thought we needed dedicated outlets for our Fridge and freezer in the garage, but Greg actually talked us out of that work pointing out that it wasn't really needed. He installed one programmable light switch that day, then came back another time to install a wifi switch and the surge protector for the house. We found him very professional, very helpful and polite. I would most certainly hire him again. Not many people will talk you out of work that isn't needed!

We were so pleased with Eric's previous work, we had him come back and reprogram our fan, replace our AC breakers with the appropriate sized breakers, and replaced a light switch that was starting to fault out. Eric and his helper were on time, finished quickly, very professional and did a a great job. We will use Eric again and strongly recommend him to others.

The electrician was very personable and professional. His work was excellent and he went the mile to make sure that I got everything just the way I needed it to be. My only negative is the cost,

Our dryer wasn't working. The dryer plug sparked a couple of time when I tried to run it and then nothing. Chris and Mike checked it out and diagnosed that we needed a new outlet, outlet plate, and plug. They also installed some light switches, GFI outlet, and bath fan/heater/light. Since I was going to the hardware store to get the switch plates, Chris gave me his list of supplies needed. This saved us some money. They got the jobs done in about 2 1/2 hours and cleaned up after themselves. We were glad we didn't need to buy a new dryer! Hill Electric mailed us a Home Depot gift card to thank us for our business.

I called and they had an electrician at my house within two hours. He arrived on time and quickly agreed with me that improvements should be made to the switch box. He took care of this quickly and efficiently.

The dining room light switch was replaced. The old light fixtures in the kitchen were removed. Installed and supplied new 4 ft fluorescent fixtures in kitchen and capped off the wiring in one box. Installed box and wiring through attic for light fixture over bed. Install switch for bedroom light and reinstalled the old plug in fixture, now minus the plug in part. Looks much nicer. Took about half the day to accomplish. Getting into the attic from the bedroom closet is no small feat of its own. Great job.

Bart responded at the start of the next business day following my call in the evening. We discussed the items I thought needed to be done and setup a time to do the work (following Saturday). Bart showed up right on time and we walked thru what I thought was wrong and the new timer that needed to be installed. Bart found that the wall plug I thought was bad was actually good and the issue was a light switch that had a short in it. He replaced the light switch and the wall plug worked fine. He also tested another wall plug and replaced it. He then looked at the install of the light timer. He found a short in the switch box. Before he installed the timer, he corrected the short (this required adding some wiring) and installed the timer. Everything works fine. It is nice to have an outside light on at night and not to have to worry about turning it off in the morning. He also took time to discuss a kitchen lighting issue and look over the junction box to be sure it was safe. He also took time to show me how to properly use my testing equipment. Bart will be my first call for any electrical work

Replace light fixtures, replace light switches, replace mounting box and add surge protection at the outside bix

Awesome job, perfect placement of lights, expertly moved light switch with no visible damage. Definitely recommend.
