Recent Review: They initially caulked around the vent and checked entire roof for problems at the special rate they were offering of $99.00. It still leaked so they had to replace the exhaust fan roof vent. We went through several occasions it had been scheduled but had to cancel due to rain. They were very cooperative in re-scheduling. Then we were scheduled on a friday and by mid week rain again was predicted for friday. So on wed that week they finished some other work early and contacted us and were able to come do the work on wed before rain hit again on our scheduled date. I was very pleased with their professionalism.

Recent Review: We discovered a leak in our roof that needed repair. The insurance sent a company out that said we needed a full roof replacement...don't think so. Bexar roofing came out shortly after I called and checked out the issue without me being home. Important to me, they took in what I thought about the problem instead of ignoring me. Despite some confusion on the agreed time for the work to be done, they were great to work with. It was done quickly and they gave us till after the next rain before paying to ensure work was done well. Highly recommend and will use again if something happens.

Recent Review: This company was great. We initially thought we needed a new roof, due to a storm blowing shingles off. It turns out we only needed some shingles replaced. They cleaned off the roof, inspected for exposed nails, loose or broken shingles. Their work has a 1 year "no leak" workmanship warranty. This company will not scam you. We had our insurance adjuster out previously the same day. We did not tell Power Roofing and they quoted the exact same price as the insurance adjuster. A+ for us!!!!

Recent Review: In December 2018, Jesus Garcia completed some repairs to a neighbor’s house and the neighbor, being satisfied with the work, referred Mr. Garcia to us to repair a roof leak over our Master Bedroom. Mr. Garcia made a very reasonable proposal and we agreed to the work which was completed very promptly on December 19, 2018. Mr. Garcia was very careful in not damaging our existing concrete roofing tiles during the repair (as we had only a few potential replacement tiles). Additionally, he took pictures of the leak area and damaged decking at the beginning of the project, and then after his work was completed, as a record of what needed to be done, and what was accomplished. We were extremely pleased with the attention to detail and workmanship of the repair. In May of 2019 we had another leak around a vent stack on a different part of our house, and we asked Mr. Garcia to repair it, and at the same time, update the roofing seals at all of the other potential leak sites. Mr. Garcia again carefully removed the existing roofing tiles, exposing the roof decking, repaired the decking where needed, and installed new valleys and flashing around all vent stacks as well as around our chimney, where he found an old leak. He then reinstalled the concrete tiles. Again, Mr. Garcia took before and after pictures, and clearly the work needed to be done, as there were numerous other leak sites and potential leak sites, that we just hadn’t noticed yet. Our roof is approximately 20 years old, so we were due for some roof maintenance and repairs. In August of 2019, Mr. Garcia added Mr. Tovar to assist in customer service and grow their business. We haven’t had a need to call on GD roofing since their last repair, but if we need to do so, we will absolutely use GD roofing again. We can’t say enough positive about GD Roofing and Mr. Garcia. He has excellent workmanship, is conscientious, and we are very pleased with the end results.

Recent Review: Salesmen were pleasant and over-sold the benefits quite a bit from what I've experienced. The real workers smoked cigarettes and left butts in my driveway (which they later cleaned up when asked), but I found "materials" in my yard for some time afterward. Work seemed to go fine. Then, the day after I went into my spare bedroom and found the fan and light didn't work anymore ...and they did the day before. The door bell also quite working and the house alarm went off unexpectedly several times. They came out and insisted these issues were not caused by their installation, but when they actually looked, they had cut a wire to the fan/light and to the alarm. They couldn't figure out the doorbell, so it still doesn't work. I thought all was fixed besides the bell and waited to feel the results in the temperature and the electric bill. Didn't feel a significant difference except in one room upstairs and the bill (when weighted by the kilowatts used) was maybe $20-$30 less. I only looked the first couple of months and just thought I'd been taken once again. Last month I had a leak in my roof and when the adjuster and the roof repair company came to check it out, they could see that the rafters were wet in some areas so the radiant barrier didn't 'stick'. And when they estimated replacing the roof they said that the ridge vent (which EAS installed) was working against the turbines on my roof...so they recommended removing the turbines and putting the ridge vent on the other major roof line as well. As I've now researched it, sure enough, they shouldn't have combined the turbines and the ridge vent...because then neither work!!! So maybe now that I only have ridge vents, maybe I'll see some difference. I need to call EAS and tell them about the wet wood where the barrier didn't stick, but since I've already had the roof work, which called for replacing some of the decking, I'm afraid they won't believe me anyway. Overall, they tried to do what they said they would do...they just didn't advise me well on the turbines/ridge vent and they oversold the benefits. In addition, apparently the roof needed repair back then and they could have told me that, but didn't. I have a tall 2 story, so I can't tell from on the ground. I believe they just wanted a sale and weren't interested in my best interests as a customer. From my research on price, they seemed pretty good in comparison. They sold me on spray vs foil and i'm not sure that was good counsel either. They were nice while here....

Recent Review: Alfred answered the phone on a weekend. He came out on the day we requested, and he called to let me know that he would be 10 minutes late! He checked my entire roof, and informed me that the leak was related to the chimney, not the roof. He was extremely professional and shared a lot of helpful information, even after he determined that I didn't need a roof repair. I would definitely recommend him again, as he is very trustworthy. It would have been easy for him to recommend an unecessary roof repair, and we wouldn't have known the difference. Instead he simply gave us the free inspection as promised. Excellent service.
