The job went well, Bought the 6hrs 149 special... they cleaned yard and raked .. would hire again

They did a great job! The work took about 4 hours to clear leaves, roots and rake yard. Added two colors of mulch. Lots of complements from neighbors on how nice the yard looks now!

I saw Willow's review on Angie's list and called the owner, Mr. Hernandez , to come out to give me an estimate. We set an appointment and he arrived promptly. He gave me a written estimate which clearly described the work to be done. I accepted his estimate and his crew came on the days we set for the work. The crew completed the work as promised and they did a very good job cleaning the yard. I was very satisfied with this company's work.

The special was 4 man hours of lawn and yard work. They were to contact us ahead of time and let us know when they were coming. My husband noticed they just had shown up one day and raked the leaves. This company never left a notice or acknowledged that they were here and raked the leaves but never removed the leaves and didn't complete the 4 hours as advertised. I also have been in contact with them but just want them to complete the work.

They removed three shrubs and planted two new hollies, ferns and hosta. Trimmed shrubs front and back. Cleaned, mulched and edged all beds, placed a stepping stone path, and raked front and back.

We have a corner yard and a huge area to clean up leaves. They came in and quickly raked all our leaves and trimmed our bushes carried away all our trimmings. It was a big help.

Two men showed up and introduced themselves letting me know they would be working around the yard and clarified where I wanted the work done. They raked and used a leaf blower to bag the front yard leaves. They even got behind bushes and places I didn't even think of. I was very impressed when they stayed a little passed their commit time to make sure at least the front yard was complete. They alerted me once they had finished and provided a quote for the rest of the yard. The only recommendation I have for NTC was to work on the scheduler's communication, it seemed she called me multiple times asking for a work day and I would remind her that we had one already scheduled. Other than that, I would definitely recommend their service!

George did a good enough job cutting the front lawn and cleaning up the leaves and branches, although he was a slow worker, compared to others we have used. He was to return to do the back yard at a later time, but never came back.

We were very impressed with the professionalism of the owner. I think he may have given us a break b/c we are retired senior citizens. He did an outstanding job; joyfully.

I purchased one of the Angie's List specials that Commonwealth Landcare Inc. offered. (6 Hours of Yard work for $149) First and foremost Michael Pugh was prompt in responding to my yard work scheduling request. Michael wanted to get an idea what the work involved and asked me questions. We scheduled a day and time for the work and team of two guys arrived on time. After explaining them the projects, I asked whether they would be able to finish the outlined work within the allotted time frame. They assured me that the 3 hours for each man (2X3=6 Hours) was sufficient to complete the tasks. They immediately start working and did not stop for three straight hours. Since they promised that they would complete all the tasks discussed, they stayed extra half an hour. At the end, the yard look immaculate. I wish I had taken pictures of it. Later on Michael and I communicated and it was only fair for me to pay the extra man hour (1/2 hr X 2 men) they stayed. I look forward to using their services in the next season.
