Richmond Stump Removal

They removed the tree quickly and efficiently. The got up the debris excellently. I was a little disappointed with stump grind because they didnt get much out, but my space is very tight and there was electrical near by.

We had approximately 15 trees removed from our yard. Most of these were full-sized, mature trees. We had several quotes and decided to go with TrueTimber because they seems like good guys and had the best quote. The process was not super smooth, but the fact of the matter is that a good amount of quality work was done for a great price. They came out and did an estimate for us and we booked an appointment for 6 weeks out. They were super busy, but we were impressed enough with them to wait. They took down approximately 15 trees for us in one business day. They did not haul away the trees that day because there wasn't enough time. Then... the trees sat for 2 weeks. It snowed twice, the yard was a swampy mess, and they were unable to do any work for anyone for almost a week. Finally the trees were removed and about 1 week later the stumps were ground. The stump grinder had to come out two additional times due to missed tree stumps / roots. To be fair, the yard is filled with debris and old leaves and the stump grinder was not one of the original arborists that came out. I can understand how this happened but was still frustrated. I am sure that the issues we had would not have happened if the weather had not been terrible and if the baseline status of our yard had not been a disaster. Overall I think that True Timber did a great job and I have already recommended them to several people that I know.

They did an amazing job because not only did they grind the stumps but they looked for the roots to grind too. They cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. I recommend and will use again!

Excellent. Mr. Hamilton was on time got the job done as promised. He was efficient, cost effective and a true professional. I strongly recommend him.

Paid entire bill for both services to find out a week or two later that the stump was still there (a good 12” above ground) buried under chips. Eight weeks later, the stump was still there. Paid for services not rendered, with no response to my request for refund of the stump grinding portion.

He got here on time today and did some extra work.After he finished he said it took less time than expected so he lowered the estimated price.

All went very well with the tree removal, stump grinding and wood removal. They even took a tree down for free that was in the direct path of the diseased 90' plus pine so they could position the bucket truck closer for a safe removal. 4 huge gum trees removed, one of which had a branches that extended halfway over the house. David, John and Miguel did an exceptional job from start to finish. This company's backlog is enormous and was worth the wait. Thanks for the outstanding service!

These guys are great! I've used them for two tree removal jobs (one last year and one this year) and I was extremely happy with both jobs. They are fast, super easy to work with, courteous and knowledgeable. I was able to have two trees removed and the stumps ground within two days of contacting them. The guys gave me a same-day estimate without me having to be here (super convenient!) and they did an amazing job. No mess! I was able to have the work done without being home and that was a huge plus for me. I would highly recommend this company for any yard job and will definitely use them again.

Very professional and punctual. All limb and leaf debris was raked up and carted away. My neighbor wanted the wood so they cut the trunk in 1 1/2 lengths and stacked them where my neighbor indicated (above and beyond). The ground up stump was evenly distributed around the mulched area where the tree had been. The red oak tree was approximately 45 feet tall.

First time using this company. David, the owner of the company came out and did exactly what was promised for a fair price. He communicated well (hard to find these days) and showed up when promised. All work was done to my satisfaction. I WILL be calling David first thing when any tree or stump work is needed. No doubt.
