Purchased Big Deal assuming that the deal would cover a very short service call. Well, no. Although I was told I would get a phone call before the technician arrived, my doorbell rang to announce his arrival. He rotated a valve on my shower on/off lever, and was out the door 17 minutes later - about 5 of that getting the additional payment that my Big Deal didn't cover. Work was done professionally. For all you other vendors - at least have your deals cover the minimum amount of a service call, or state on the deal that it ANSOLUTELY will cost more for the tech to even show up

EMPIRE PLUMBING
Terrible experience. Worker did not turn off water main before beginning work. When he tried to fix the kitchen faucet, water went all over the ceiling, walls, etc. That was just the beginning. Our stand up shower had a bad valve which caused the hot water to drip constantly. Once again the worker didn't turn off the water main and water flooded in the walls and into my downstairs foyer. Owner refused to accept responsibility for the damage. Stay away

SIMPLISTIC WATER SOLUTIONS
Both of my showers leaked constantly and the valves would not turn far enough to allow hot water through in the winter time. I had completely taken off the knob in the upstairs bathroom to adjust it manually and just did not use the downstairs tub. Several people had previously looked at the valves prior to my call to this company. I already knew that it was a non-standard part that many people were unfamiliar with. I called and he was able to get to me the same week and was willing to come out and look at my shower and give me an estimate. He came by before I went to work and looked at both showers and took a picture of the part. He couldn't give me an estimate immediately because he had to see if it could be repaired or if it would have to be replaced completely with a new part. He called me back within a few days and said he had one that he could install and he back ordered the other. We were able to find a time that met both of our schedules for the install. I believe it took less than an hour for him to fix the downstairs shower. He let me test it and give him feedback and he made adjustments. It was several weeks before the second part came in. He came and also replaced that within an hour. The leaks in both showers have stopped and now I have hot water in both showers. Danny is the owner and does the work himself. He is very professional and respectful. He cares about the work he does and he listens. I couldn't be more pleased and I am happy that I now have a plumber to call when I need additional work down

And they substantially undercut the other estimates of the competition I called around for. I'm the owner of the rental property of the service performed and so far no complaints of the work have been noted via the renters. It took two hours to replace this valve. This is about twice what I expected to pay since it was a pretty simple job and I had already purchased the new valve and handles. No estimate was given except for the first hour of labor. In the future I will insist on a estimate and that it be stuck to. Jan 12 - I just noticed that the tile under the tub spout was cracked and broken. Now I have holes in my tile. It looks like the plumber actually stuck the little broken pieces back into place and they just fell back inside the wall..

Mike Wilson Plumbing
My wife said they took a long while to get parts at VAMAC. They charged $175 for labor. Maybe because three men came to the house. One man turned water off and on outside the home while on man replaced the parts. I felt over-charged for this service. They didn't wear shoe covers.

We recently remodeled our bathroom and bought new faucets for the 2 sinks. Our cabinet guy (who is great at installing cabinets) said that he could install the faucets. After about a week, one of the faucets started leaking under the sink. He came back and "fixed" it and everything seemed ok. Then, this week the other sink had water in the cabinet below the sink. We decided it was time to call in a professional. "Big Daddy's" had done work for us before and we always were very pleased with his work. He found numerous problems with the way the faucets had been installed, as well as problems relating to wear and tear on pipes and valves that were 30 years old. We had a disaster waiting to happen. "Bid Daddy's" took care of all of the problems, and we should be good to go for the next 30 years. He was prompt, professional, courteous, and very reasonable. We'll always call him when we have plumbing needs

From the very beginning, their GM, Steven Kern, suggested options for the cabinetry that would be more aligned with my budget; so, rather than replacing or refinishing cabinets, we discussed adding crown molding instead. They had molding that matched my "spice maple" cabinets perfectly...including a corner section that was slightly darker than the rest. In addition, their designer and reviewed a wide range of flooring, glass front and backsplash options, and she gave me a few samples to take home so I could see them at home under different lighting...she even found a few medallions left over from another job that she thought could be great focal points behind the stove. In addition, the installation crew was friendly, on time, and efficient as well. In the end, my project came in on time and WELL UNDER budget...and it's gorgeous

Attempted to repair slow drain in sink. Unfortunately they were unable to resolve the slow draining sink because maybe this type of sink wont drain fast unless the pop out is pulled out completely. But did put everything back together and I will just use the sink without the pop up drain installed.

We didn't know where the shut off valve was located for the refrigerator so called Mr. Rooter Plumbing. Tony (Van) Vandermark came over and spent 30 minutes exploring the crawl space beneath the house. He finally discovered that it had been installed beneath the kitchen sink when the house was built. We would call Mr. Rooter Plumbing again for any plumbing issues and ask for Van. Great Job

Carroll plumbing did a great job. They kept their appointment time, explained what they needed to do, were respectful of me and my home and cleaned up after the job. They took time to find the best solutions to several problems they encountered. When a manufacturer's defect came to light with one of the toilet tanks, they promptly came back and replaced the tank at no further expense to me. (They supplied the toilet, but I picked the model I desired.

Mr. Burgwin and his helper were prompt, courteous, and his helper vacuumed up all the drywall dust and put everything back into place before they left. The whole repair only took about an hour and a half. Mr. Burgwin also advised me that the pipes I have in my house are outlawed due to the fact that the material they are made ("qwest")of has been known to fail. He also answered all my questions regarding the repair and even gave me a quote on a new hot water heater when I mentioned to him I am afraid that might "go" next..
