Our vaulted sunroom and sunken family room both meet the main house in a crazy mess of roofing angles. The stains on the ceiling meant a leak, but where? Two roofers said to recaulk and cross our fingers for a fix, a third said it was a combo of roofing AND siding and he wouldn't touch it. Carlos came by outstanding recommendation from a neighbor. He gave the area a thorough inspection and outlined a true fix: pulling up shingles, removing siding, replacing everything underneath (flashing, J-channel moulding, roofing paper, air vent flashing, ice shield membrane. He also replace two 12 year old two-part skylights with new, tempered glass skylights, which are gorgeous. We had not intend to do this (despite his recommendation that it would be a tremendous visual upgrade- which it is) to save $500 costs, but it was necessary when he pulled is the old ones and found hairline cracks that causing mold/ mildew between the layers (I just thought they were dirty!). He did proactively track down a cheaper option (new two-part lights for $350) since he knew I had not planned on replacement- I'm glad we went with the beautiful glass, given the minimal price difference. Carlos caulked some small mail holes in a different part of the house for no additional charge Carlos and his team were on time, worked non-stop all day, and finished in one day instead of two. My deck and yard were a DISASTER during the project but PRISTiNE when he left- they know how to clean up after themselves. Carlos is very polite, professional, and easy to work with. He communicates by email or phone. Pricing was very good- I got a second quote for the same work that was $1500 more. Wish I could have fixed this problem with $500 worth of caulk, but at least it is now corrected for the long haul..

Repairman was skilled and repaired multiple leaks. Knowledge of roof repair seemed extensive. We had nail pops and damaged shingles. Cost was reasonable. Only negative was they arrived at 8:55am for scheduled 8am arrival. Called to say they were running 30 minutes late, but actually came almost an hour late. Business is 40 minutes away from us and maybe they didn't appreciate the required travel time at rush hour, not sure. Would use them again

On Wednesday, 16 November, I discovered that my roof was leaking into my attic and onto the ceiling of my bedroom. My family and I were planning on leaving town for a week, so I needed to get this repaired immediately before leaving. So, on Thursday, I called a company that had done some work for me previously and they told me that they were booked for 4 months out and just didn't have any people available. So, next, I called Professional Home Services. Mike answered and told me that he was busy also, but would see what he could do to help me out. It turned out that he was doing some work in my area on Friday and at the end of the day was able to come by and check out my problem. He found the problem and repaired it in about 30 minutes. I appreciated the way Mike followed through after telling me he'd try to fit me in. He called as soon as he knew he could make it to my place and he was very polite and courteous in working with my wife who was at the house. Then, he called me at my office around 5:30 or 6 PM to explain what he had found, how he had fixed it, and the probable cause of the leak. He also told me that there would be no charge for the service. He insisted that it was a fairly simple repair and that he wouldn't take any payment for the service. Obviously, I was appreciative and impressed. I will gladly use Professional Home Services in the future

Mr. Peregoy investigated the source of a roof leak. He had installed the roof on our house 25 years ago. He discovered that one of the roof turbine vents had seized up and come off of its mounting, allowing rain to enter the house. He also found that the caulking around the plumbing stack had deteriorated. He fixed the caulking immediately and replaced the vent within a couple of days. He said that the roof had a 20-year warranty, but he believes that we will probably get five more years service (bringing it to 30 years). Mr. Peregoy always removes an old roof and never puts a new roof over old. He also told us what symptoms to look for that will indicate the need for replacement. (The shingles will begin to deteriorate and pieces will break off.

They initially sent out two guys to investigate about three years ago. I showed them where there was interior water damage and he went onto the roof to investigate. He came back about 15 minutes later and said he couldn't definitively say where it was leaking but that he'd plugged some holes that the original roofers left behind and that it should be fixed. After the next hard rain, it leaked again. They came back out and, within 15 minutes, said they thought they'd fixed it. It didn't rain hard from the north for a long time so the roof didn't leak and we thought it was fixed. Over a year later (a year was the limit of their warranty so I had to pay again), it rained again, they came back out, spent about 20 minutes on the roof and again said it was fixed. A month or so later when it rained hard from the north, it leaked. They came back out, but it leaked the next time it rained. When I called, I told Nathan's wife (she answered the phone) the whole story and she said she'd refund my money. No apology, no other options given. So I got $200 of the $400 back, but I still had a roof that leaked

In 2003 after the hurricane Irene, I had my roof completely redone with 30yr warranty on shingles (not workmanship). Around 2005 I also had a flat roof adjacent to the regular house roof completely redone. This month 3/2014 I had a leak between the main house roof and the flat roof. I called Nathan. He send a manager to look at the problem.. And a few days later before the next rain another manager and helper repaired the roof at the intersection between the two roofs. the family room ceiling has a leak line running about 18 ft long. The fix took a little over an hour with a dozen or so shingles removed and a water-proof fabric put under where the singles were (for a length of about 25 ft and a width of 10ft. Then the shingles were nailed back down and the entire work area was sealed with sealant. Very professionally done. There was no charge for the repair, although the workmanship warrant had long past. I will definitely have Nathan Roof Co. make a bid on some current problems that I am having with some spots of rotted wood siding to be replaced with vinyl

They provided a quote for work to be performed that included detailed info of everything we had spoke about...(Remove all roofing and flashing around chimney, reflash and re-shingle roof around chimney including ice and water shield. The quote was fair and comparable with the quotes from other companies that I contacted. There was rain in the forecast and they were able to complete the work prior to the expected rains. Capitol City repaired an active leak and I asked for a general inspection on the remainder of my roof. In addition to repairing the leak they replaced several broken and missing slate. I was very satisfied in the response and work. I called and they responded with a visit to my house either the same day or next day. They were on site doing the repair within a couple of days. I used this company many (10 ?) years ago and they performed well then and now. I will definitely call them again when I need my slate roof repaired

Poorly. 1. Roof started leaking 10+ weeks after paying downpayment. 2. Work didn't start until 4+ months after downpayment. So many excuses. Originally the roof should have been completed by May 1st. It wasn't completed until August. 3. Work was not completed properly and roof leaked during first rain storm. 4. I had to fix ceilings in the house, then it took 4+ months to get reimbursement check for ceiling repair. I do not recommend this company
