Contain-A-Pet

Mike was very professional, prompt and genuinely a great guy. He did the work he said he would do, for the price he quoted and in a tight time line because our puppy had already fallen in the pool once. Even in the midst of planning his daughter's wedding, he still answered the phone and offered assistance. I wish all contractors were like Mike

He was kind, courteous, professional and was excellent on follow up. He really knows his product inside and out and can recommend the best course of action for any hard to contain pup. He was great with basic training with our dogs, and gave a complete and thorough instruction on all the ins and outs of the system. He is an incredibly hard worker who goes the extra mile to make sure your system works for you and your pets, and is priced far more reasonably than his competitors. I cannot recommend him enough

We are very pleased with the service we received from Good Neighbor Fencing. Bob Stewart was great to work with. He helped us select and design a fence that would work well in the space we planned to enclose. He also took notice of our dogs and suggested smaller spacing between the rails on the fence to be sure our smaller dog did not get out of the backyard once we had it fenced in. In addition to being very pleased with working with Bob, we were extremely happy with the installation that Vernon and Joe did. They were careful to ensure that the fence was installed properly and even went so far as to hand-dig the post holes so that they did not do any damage to our irrigation system and underground electric fence. All that said, my husband and I would recommend Good Neighbor Fencing without reservation

My fence was specifically contracted to serve as a dog fence and we agreed on the contract that the fence will follow the ground line to make sure the dog could not get out of it by crawling underneath. There is a gap along on two fence lines at the ground level that allows my dog to get out. And if the dog doesn't get out there, the gates do not latch and come open all the time. Less than 3 months after the install, one of the gates has warped noticeably. I think this is from the adjustment they made so that the gates would stay latched. We constantly find the gates open. Additionally, the fence that we agreed to on the contract not the fence I got. My contract drawing has right angled corners - my fence corners are not right angles. Think about that - the fence line is straight, but the angle at the corners is not a right angle. This means that the fencing is nailed to the corner post with over an inch of space between the post and the board. This will allow moisture to build and rot the fence very quickly. It also means that the new fence into existing fencing very strangely and looks ODD. We got a fence that is not even close to the contract drawing. Also, the pricing is done by linear foot on the contract and my fence measurement does not measure to the same length I was charged for. They cut short one fence line and then tied into another fence at about a 60 degree angle. My best guess is that one line of fencing was cut short and then angled toward a specific spot on the existing fence. This caused the strange angle. To Hurricane Fence's credit, they did come and correct the fence that shows to the road and front of the house that was tied into the chimney at a strange (not 90 degree) angle. This was visible from the front of the house and road, and has their company sign on it. The gaps for that allow the dog to get out as well as the gates that are warped and will not stay closed less than 3 months after install still remain uncorrected
Corey was great, figured out the problem right away. Materials were reasonable, labor and service call charges were separate and seemed a little steep to me, I had used them a couple years ago, and didn't remember the $75 service call separate from the labor, Maybe it was because it was on a Saturday....I was just a little surprised when I saw $165 for a 30 minute job

Very happy with our new fence. Of the 4 estimates we received, Hurricane was the lowest AND the most complete. Work was completed on time and on budget. Highly recommended!

What do customers in Richmond say about Invisible Fence Installation?
THEY WERE AWESOME. IT WAS MONEY WELL SPENT. THEY HAVE A GREAT PRODUCT AND THEY ARE VERY REASONABLE. THEY CAME OUT THE SAME DAY I CALLED AND GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE. THE GENTLEMAN WHO INSTALLED THE FENCE WAS VERY NICE TO OUR WHOLE FAMILY AND VERY GOOD WITH OUR 5 MONTH OLD LAB PUPPY. AFTER INSTALLATION, HE SPENT SOME TIME GOING OVER THE WHOLE SYSTEM AND THEY HAD A TRAINING SESSION WITH THE PUPPY AND ME TO EXPLAIN HOW TO CONTINUE THE TRAINING PROCESS. SHE CAUGHT ON RIGHT AWAY AND IS NOW ENJOYING FREE REIGN OF THE ENTIRE YARD.
