We had a couple hiccups along the way tied to HOA guidelines, but Shane went the extra mile to ensure we were completely satisfied. The top of the fence floats with the landscape and looks great. At the end of the build he walked us all around the fence and talked through maintenance and upkeep. Very personable and great fence results

We got estimates from three companies- Good Neighbor came in towards the middle of the estimates but I had the most confidence in their quality so we went with them. MINOR'S FENCES
We got estimates from four different fence companies and picked Minor's to do the work. They showed up on time, got right to work and the fence and four gates were installed in just a few days. They did an excellent job. I believe this fence would last for 100 years!. It is made with good quality materials and is very sturdy. We had them make it slightly higher in the back yard to be sure and contain our Great Pyrenees who loves to visit neighbors. Also, we had them raise the bottom of the fence so a grass trimmer would go under the fence all the way around. We chose to have the posts on the outside to break up the long run of pickets down the side of our lot and I'm glad we did. All of the these and quot;customand quot; things were included in the price. I would highly recommend this company and if this fence doesn't last for 100 years, we'll use them to build a new one. (If we're still around, that is.

Shane at Good Neighbor Fence was wonderful to work with. He was prompt in all communications and went above and beyond to make sure we were pleased with our fence. We reside on a corner lot on a slope, and we had concerns about on how to make the street side of the fence look clean and unobtrusive while still giving us the privacy we desired. All of the other fence companies I spoke with made light of our concerns merely saying "we can handle it". Shane listened to our concerns and gave us a detailed explanation on how he would approach the street side of the fence making us feel confident we were making the right choice on fence type, size, and style. My husband can be EXTREMELY particular, and Shane was able to meet and surpass all of his expectations. I highly recommend using Good Neighbor Fence

Good Neighbor Fence Inc
My overall experience with Good Neighbor Fence Company was very good and would definitely recommend this company however there were some areas of improvement I would like to note. In my opinion, the company is split into two divisions. You have the marketing side which Bob runs and you have the production side which Shane (owner) runs. Let me start with Bob. I signed my contract for my fence project about the middle of July 2015. It was written on the contract that the install date would be 4-5 weeks from that date but verbally told to me that it would be by the end of August 2015. On the 5th week exactly, I emailed Bob and asked for an update on my fence installation and he told me he would update me by the end of the day. I received no update. The next day, I emailed him again requesting for the same update. He then advised that I was on the schedule for the next week and sent me two emails confirming that. In one email, he said he would call me Wednesday and update me. In another email he advised that he would call me Thursday or Friday and update me. I received no update that week. Now we are in the six week? on that date around 8:00 pm that night, I get a voicemail from Bob saying my fence products will be delivered on Wednesday and either they will start Wednesday or Thursday at the latest. In addition, he advised via voicemail that he would update me the next day (Tuesday). I received no such update. On Wednesday morning after I received my fence products I contacted Bob and it was finally set in stone that my install date would be Thursday. My main concern with Bob / marketing side was that he kept promising to update me and he did not. In addition, every email I sent him it seemed that he was a day behind on (e.g. send him an email on Monday and Tuesday and he only responds to the Monday email versus the Tuesday email). I wish he kept his word / follow thru on his promises. Now I will turn to Shane?s side / production. On Thursday the crew showed up three minutes late (7:33 am). However, they started promptly conducting the site inspection and getting my inputs on the changes I wanted to make. They had a fast start on Thursday getting about half the work done and working a full day. On Friday (last day of installation), the production crew arrived just after 7:00 am and started right away. I added several things to my contract and Shane / production crew accommodated me at every turn. At every issue or concern, Shane ensured I was informed and included me in the decision. In addition, he made several recommendations which a majority of the time I went with. His recommendations were valued because they added to my overall project and made it much better than originally planned. The production crew finished just before 4:00 pm and I am very pleased at this point. This concludes the production update. Overall, I am very pleased with the job even with the communication issues on the marketing side. I would recommend this company

Hurricane Fence Company
Rick came out and gave me an estimate for a wood picket fence for my back yard with a 5ft and 3ft gate. Other companies were between 400.00- 500.00 more on there estimates. Rick gave me a date that they would be out and he called the day before to verify the time they would be there. The guys came out and went to work about 10 am and were finished at about 4 pm. There work was excellent and they even cleaned up after themselves before they left. I'm very happy with my fence and even get complimates from my neighbors. I would use them again if I need more work done in a heart beat. Thanks again Rick and Hurricane fence for a wonderful job

They did an excllent job. I was very pleased. They were very punctual and their pricing was very good. The fence is very heavy duty. Also, the gates are four feet wide, which makes it easy to get lawn equipment through the gates. The hinges are also heavy duty and we have never had an issue with it. They also use seasoned, quality wood. The fence is still in wonderful shape. The fence is 36 inches in the front yard and 41 inches in the back yard and the transition is very good. Once the work was done, the owner called just to be sure everything was done to our satisfaction

They do a variety of things. They did a lot of work. They were very neat and meticulous. They did everything in a day and were just terrific. Their price was so fair. I had contractors tell me that I just got to replace the windows, as the contractors did not know how to do that. Top Gun Window Cleaning were just doing it the old fashion way, taking little pieces of wood and just carving them to match the windowpane. So it was very meticulous and very perfectly done, and every reasonable. I would like to give them definitely an "A" on everything

I met with Shane in early September to discuss adding a fence to my yard to contain my new puppy. He suggested that I use the survey services that he provides for. He gave me an estimate based on where I thought my property line was. After the survey was done, I realized that there is a pine tree growing directly on my property line, so I discussed options with Shane. We ended up bringing the fence into my property a couple of feet, which I am fine with, as it gives me space to maintain the outside. I should mention that I have a weird situation of fences around my yard. My neighbors on the left have a 5 foot, concave, picketed fence, there is a 6 foot privacy fence along 90% of my backyard, and then a 4 foot picketed fence along the other 10%. The fence that I added on the right side is the same style as the neighbors on the left, and although mine stands out because it is brand new, it is a pretty good match. After finalizing these details, Shane's crew came out about a week later and installed the fence posts. A couple of days after that, the fence was erected. Although I was pleased with the results, I did meet with Shane to discuss a couple of issues that I wanted corrected. One of the fence boards had a big chunk missing, and the crew did not clean up very well behind the gate. In addition, one of the fence posts on the side of the house had been wedged over a concrete splashguard. Shane had his workers replace the bad fence board and clean up the dirt behind the gate. He forgot to remind them about moving the splashguard, but he came out and dug it out himself, and even filled the hole that it left. Even though I thought these details should have been attended to during the job, I am impressed that he responded so positively to my concerns. Overall, it was a good experience and I would highly recommend this company
