The work was completed in one day and looks great. There were was one broken plank that needed to be replaced and some face nail holes that were not filled in. I was disappointed that the workers took my leftover trim. Since I had purchased it separately (not from the contractor), I wanted to keep the excess in case I needed it in the future, but it was gone before I noticed. All in all, a nice job

BUDGET HARDWOOD FLOOR
I would hate to guess the cost of the installation because of the quality of work. I wouldn't want people to be scared off because I quoted to high. It was well worth it and I was very pleased with my floors. I would definitely hire them again and I would tell my friends and family to get them to do their floors in their homes also

Generations Hardwood Flooring came out & ripped up the carpet in 2 of the bedrooms & installed about 340 square feet of prefinished hickory that I had purchased from a flooring store. They did a great job showing up when they said they would, they didn't mess around and they went right to work. Things were moved out and they cleaned up the old tear off and debris before starting the installation. They did great quality work and they were professional at all times. He came over and he was very thorough. He was the only one that responded to me. He was a perfectly fine gentleman. I don’t know how it would compare pricewise to other companies because I didn’t get another estimate. I am pleased with it. Calvin was the guy that came. He was actually early for his appointment and I always appreciate that. He responded to my phone call within 2 or 3 hours of leaving a message. He was very nice and polite both in-person and on the phone. He gave me what I think is very fair estimate. They also offer 20 percent off, right now. That was one of the reasons why I was looking at them more than the other. They do install wood floors, finish and match them to current a wood floor which is what I am looking for. It’s a unique art apparently and most people just install new floors. It’s nice because our house was built in the nineties and in the front the wood floors are great. I don’t want to spend money on getting them all replaced. The original quote was $5200 minus the 20 percent so it’s around $4160. In terms of responsiveness, he was early so that was helpful. I have recommended his name to my friends in the neighborhood who are looking to do the same thing. I do plan on using him in the future

He the only contractor that suggested not using finished wood so that the floor would match the wood floor that had been installed 35 years ago. Installation looks great, the staining of the new floor is a very good match to the old floor that is in the adjoining room. Steve is very busy so you have to wait for you job to get done, but it is worth it

Costen Floors
Costen Floors Company was really good. They yet have to come back and do the third and final coat on the floors. We also have to see if they can get these scratches and stuff out so we just have to call them back. Hopefully when they come out for the third coat, they can get the scratches out. They were great. Their price wasn’t the lowest but if you hold the overall experience, it was good. They provided us with a better service. We weren’t exactly sure on the color of the floor until we met with them. We just couldn’t get a feel of it in the stores so they actually came on site and did all these different color samples for us. I was concerned about how the color of the hardwood floor would look against that of our kitchen cabinets so the demonstration really helped. My overall experience with Costen Floors was great. The price was a little expensive but I got what I paid for. The floor looked beautiful when they had installed it. They were responsive, all we had to do was call them back and they were right there

Did a great job matching wood to our existing wood in the dining room & hallway. We have hectic schedules during the week, so the saleswoman from Costen actually came to our house on a Sunday after she went to church to take the measurements in our home! Very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Workers were punctual & completed job on time. Work was beautifully done, we haven't found anything wrong with the work. Final cost was right in line with estimate. They may have been a bit higher priced than other companies - but I did find it worth it. I would highly recommend them

Did a great job. Had hardwood in the entry and they fingered the new wood into the old so that you cannot tell the old wood from the new. We are thrilled with our new floors! They removed stove and refrigerator from Kitchen and toilet and sink from bath and re-installed them afterward. Other flooring contractor's would require us to hire others to do this work

They came out to do the service some time in October or November and I spent about $4000 for them to install hardwood floor. They were doing some other work for us as well like counter top but they asked if we could wait a few weeks until they came back to complete that job. We said that was fine and they came back and put them in and it was also perfect. For flooring jobs this company is excellent

Jason Jones and his Team are phenomenal woodworkers. These men are master level artisan's when it comes to the work they do. Initially found them last year on Instagram and when they popped up here, I decided to give it a go for a big house renovation project. From the extremely fast 1-day demolition, to the flooring installation, designs in the flooring, sanding, stain/finish, and beautiful toe-kick molding. My wife and I are just beyond happy. A very large project and worth every penny! Will hire again for other projects

Salesperson came promptly, listened to my needs, and gave me an estimate which I accepted. He was very professional and not at all high pressure. The installer came on the day promised, but a couple of hours late since he had to pick up the hot water heater and some additional parts first. The job was finished in less than four hours. Looks very good and hot water is working now. My only complaint is they scratched up my new tile floor, which I am not happy about

His crew came in on a Saturday morning--they were very courteous, very professional, and very quick. Frank came back later to install the quarter-round (which I'd forgotten to order) and also filled some dings and fixed some nail pops in my pre-existing hardwood floor. He gave me advice on how to care for the new and pre-existing floors. They did a great job and were done quickly. I would definitely call them again
