I was referred to the Stone Sea after receiving a very high estimate for new kitchen/bathroom cabinets from another company. My initial experience with the Stone Sea was great. Ron helped me pick out new kitchen cabinets, a bathroom vanity, and granite for both. We were even able to find a beautiful piece of remnant granite for the vanity. As the installation drew near (we were on a tight schedule due to moving), things began to unravel. The crew that Ron sent worked hard and seemed to do a great job, when they were here. I had a lot of difficulty with them saying they were going to be here and then not showing up. When the granite was supposed to be installed, further delays occurred. The granite crew was fantastic and did a great job when they did finally get here. As for the bathroom vanity, Ron failed to order it with the original order, so we had to wait another 4 weeks for it to arrive. I was unable to be home on the day of installation, and so it wasn't until I got home that I realized they had ordered/installed the wrong vanity. So we had to wait another 4 weeks. Ron called and scheduled the new vanity installation, and then no one showed up, again. I called The Stone Sea and was informed that there were some internal issues within the company, and they assured me the new vanity would be installed within a few days. They did install the new vanity, but it still isn't the right one. Also, the removal of the old vanity and subsequent installation of the new vanity damaged the walls and paint job around the project. The new vanity is shorter than that first (not sure why), and so there is clear caulk over damaged paint all along the top boarder of our backsplash. The only way I can fix the damage will be to remove the clear caulk holding the granite in place. I'm not happy about the lack of attention to detail (there are minor issues/inadequacies in the kitchen as well). I appreciate the cabinet installation crew trying to make things right when so much was going wrong, but in the end, we have problems we are left to remedy.
