I highly recommend Classic Granite and Marble. The crew are true professionals and extremely competent in what they do. We could not be more pleased with our new marble countertops. But I want to give a special thanks to our project manager Heather Reams for her time, patience and expertise in guiding us through our kitchen remodeling project from marble selection to installation. An example of her dedication to providing great service occurred towards the end of the project. After installation of the countertops on a Tuesday, the plumber discovered on Wednesday that our new composite sink was cracked. After scrambling to purchase a new sink that night, the plumber returned on Thursday and informed us that it didn't fit the cutout. Unable to get another sink until the middle of the following week, we were faced with being without water in our kitchen until then. Contacting Classic Granite, Heather was able to contact and mobilize a crew the same day. They came and modified the installed marble countertop on the spot, which allowed for the installation of the new sink. I have nothing but high praises to Heather Reams and the Classic Granite organization

We purchased a special via Angie's List that included 40 hrs of work for a pre-paid fee. Agreement was signed with Wayne Lantz prior to work starting. We listed the items we wanted to have completed and he advised us about the feasiblity and time required for our list. He sent one employee, who was perhaps the most knowledgeable and talented repair person we have had. He took pride in doing things the right way. He scraped & primed before painting and when he couldn't find a stoop post that matched the one that was not rotted, he replaced the top on the good one to match the new one he installed. He did all work in a timely, careful and very professional manner. They purchased some of the materials they needed and we paid them for the items at the end. We obtained the fixtures we wanted but check with them on suitability. From the start we all thought they might need more time to complete the post light installation since the wiring had to be buried 18 inches underground and the connections were in the crawl space,. Though it all took a bit more than 40 hours, we were very satisfied with the all the work and results. They were good in communicating and explaining. They always advised us when they were coming and were honest, friendly and quite excellent in their work

*Many major issues with the work completed. *A lot of sloppy work , indifferent workers *The sub flooring was not installed or not properly installed causing adjoining room floors to be different levels than the newly installed floor. The previous flooring was level with all rooms throughout the 1st floor. *There are 3 significant "bumps" in flooring as the sub flooring was not installed or properly installed. Standard industry practice ;of leveling out bumps was not followed. SEE HOME DEPOT Instructions. *Contractor would not fix floor and simply installed high sills which are a tripping hazard in the same doorways for we had widened by contractor since we are over 70 with limited mobility, *Damaged stairs when removing old materials *Charged for services not done and for materials not used *Did not replace 60 year old sink/toilet shut-off valves when "modernizing bathrooms. *Water lines installed by contractor broke two times. *Work failed Building Inspection and contractor indicated he would not fix issues, he said "he was moving on". *Anderson windows installed were the wrong size ;54" instead of the 48" as other existing windows in house. *Four new doors were installed and one is different than the other 3. Two facing doors at end of hall do not match each other. *Tile work in new bathroom is not fully level and spacing of grout work is inconsistent. Contractor did try to correct but still a problem
