Recent Review: BNW builders replaced windows across the whole back of my home. Bruce worked with me from the very beginning to help me find a product that fit my needs. The crew was on time each day and were professional and immaculate throughout the entire installation. It was a big job with scaffolding inside and out. I was very pleased with the way the crew took care of my home and yard while they were working here. I would not hesitate to work with BNW Builders again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an honest, reputable company that does what they say they are going to do.

Recent Review: Working with Dan from Window Universe Express and the folks at Alside was a great experience. I found Dan through his blog at thewindowdog.com while I was searching for information about replacement windows. Like most folks in this quest for info, I had never had windows replaced and was sticking to the name brands I had heard about for years, such as Anderson, Pella, etc. After getting a few quotes that I thought were on the rather high side, I wanted to read reviews from others who had gone through this recently. Dan's site gave me all the knowledge I was looking for as well as debunking many of the classic sales tactics that the big names will perform when visiting your home. I also learned about other brands of windows that are just as good if not better than the name brands and provide excellent value due to the lack of expensive advertising and paying sales people to come to your home. His site provided excellent info on what features you need, ones you may not and just a general great explanation of the different parts of windows and how they effect the comfort of your home. Dan was very responsive to all of my endless emails with questions and through the partnership with Alside, I was able to find an installer that he recommended, which is what everyone is ultimately looking for. The guys who did the install were great. They showed up on time, were very skilled and cleaned up perfectly. I never thought that the 30 year old bay window could look that good. I highly recommend using window universe express as your first and last stop for getting replacement windows.

Recent Review: The salesperson was excellent. I was assigned a project manager, who had a problem communicating with me, where I took the day off to be here for the window guys to show up and noone did. I understand she no longer works for them any more. I am a big fan of great customer service and they failed on this point. I think they got a lot of business and couldn't keep up with the orders. The people that I did deal with, i.e., installers and "the next project manager" were all great, but if I had any questions or problems it was very difficult to even find someone to contact or even email, to express my concerns. Thats why I had to go with a bad rating on the responsiveness and professionalism. I do love their product and people, but they need to be more customer friendly and have contact information for customers to reach out to and for someone in management to respond.

Recent Review: Did not engage contractor. They were not able to meet our specific color requirements for our windows. However, I highly recommend them for any window projects. They were very professional, had a good product (except for the color) and provided a through but concise education of their product.
