After 17 years of marriage and many moves, this current move to Richmond VA being our 9th together, it was time to get organized. We made the decision to get some help and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we have ever made. Meredith acted as the coordinator and project manager of the entire move in and she did a phenomenal job. One of the biggest and first challenges was to ensure correct timing of services. We mutually agreed that it would not be useful to have the organizer team here while the movers were also here doing a full unpack. A full unpack means that they take all items out of the cartons and remove all cardboard boxes. While the moving company completed this portion, Meredith assisted us with the coordination of where to place furniture as well as assist with the massive inventory lists from the moving company. During the course of two days the moving company team completed their work to unpack and assemble all major pieces and components of furniture. We then started bringing in additional organizers to target key areas of the home, in order of priority and function starting with the kitchen, kid’s rooms, laundry room, office, master bath, master bedroom and closet, dining room, garage and attic storage. Each and every room has function, organization and detail that makes life and living so very rewarding.
