I’m a fairly organized individual but because of so many personal commitments, my kitchen turned into a wreck. My pantry and cabinets were victims of “jam it anywhere to get it out of the way”. There was no thought or organization to it and I realized I needed an intervention. Elaine showed up on her white horse and helped me think through exactly how I work in my kitchen. Add into this equation my 87 year old mom who lives with us and goes food shopping twice a week, bringing home things we don’t need. Elaine walked me through the best way to set up a logical flow that will work with everyone. She gave me a blueprint to use for not only the areas we worked on together but going forward with the rest of the storage areas. She even had some great ideas to channel my mother’s food shopping into more constructive activities. Elaine is not only extremely professional but personable. She gets to know you and how you work in your home so she can develop an individual plan for you. The time we spent together was invaluable and I will use that for the rest of my home. It was a great experience and I will certainly have her back for valuable assistance and advice

After 17 years of marriage and many moves, this current move to Richmond VA being our 9th together, it was time to get organized. We made the decision to get some help and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we have ever made. Meredith acted as the coordinator and project manager of the entire move in and she did a phenomenal job. One of the biggest and first challenges was to ensure correct timing of services. We mutually agreed that it would not be useful to have the organizer team here while the movers were also here doing a full unpack. A full unpack means that they take all items out of the cartons and remove all cardboard boxes. While the moving company completed this portion, Meredith assisted us with the coordination of where to place furniture as well as assist with the massive inventory lists from the moving company. During the course of two days the moving company team completed their work to unpack and assemble all major pieces and components of furniture. We then started bringing in additional organizers to target key areas of the home, in order of priority and function starting with the kitchen, kid’s rooms, laundry room, office, master bath, master bedroom and closet, dining room, garage and attic storage. Each and every room has function, organization and detail that makes life and living so very rewarding. Special kudos to the amazing team at Abundance Organizing who did wonders in each area: Cathy – kitchen & pantry area, Melisa – kitchen & dining room area, Anya – kitchen, guest room & master bedroom, Whitney – master closet & bedroom, Shawna – master bathroom & bedroom, Whitney, Anya & Michelle – garage, Anya – attic & sons room, Melisa – office Over the course of three days the team has completely transformed our living space to allow us to find and enjoy our items like never before. Steve - and his team of installers did an absolutely fantastic job installing shelving units, actually storage cabinets, in our garage. In every way, this was the most professional service we have experience from a construction related vendor in our life. Steve was on time, explained all the options to us, and his team of installers arrived when he said they would. They were very friendly and professional and didn't leave until the job was finished to the highest standards. I strongly recommend them. This is a man who does what he says he will do, shows up when he's supposed to, and follows up after the sale and after the installation to make sure that you're satisfied. You will not regret dealing with him or his team of installers. On top of all this, this was my first purchase on Angie's List. Candice was on time. She asked me what is my goal? She assess my situation. She also listened attentively. She was patient and she explained what was necessary and unnecessary to keep. She sat me in a chair with a box of papers that I needed to go through. Ended up shredding more than I ever imagined. It was a good day. Didn't take long for me to purge willingly. When finished we had three large garbage bags of shredded paper. I could see my floor. An accomplished feeling. Been unsuccessful at this task by myself for 20 years. Thank you Candace

She has really transformed my office. It is clear she loves what she does and is extremely good at it. I used to dislike coming in my office and would find other places to work. Now I love coming in my office. It's productivity friendly and I get so much more done now. And I have so much space. Steve and team were fantastic, from design, to installation, to follow up. Upon our initial consultation, Steve took the time to understand and assess our our storage needs. He provided us with a range of layout options and price points from which to choose. Once we had agreed to a recommendation, we were able to set a date for installation that was within only a few weeks of the consultative visit - this was much sooner than competitors we spoke with. In fact, Steve called us a week before our installation date to see if we wanted to move it up even sooner. The crew that came to perform our installation were extremely professional and courteous. They were quite efficient and completed the job in just a few hours. Steve then followed up to make sure that we were completely satisfied. We love our new closet and would definitely use Steve Dash and Method Organized for our future storage needs

I needed cabinets, drawers and curio shelves in my family room and in the office. Method Organized specializes mostly in closet organizing and declined biding on these projects and referred me to another company who returned my call but was not really interested in the job. So we used a different contractor that specializes on the work we needed for the family room. I also needed walk-in closet and laundry organizing for which he provided drawing and estimates. Since the family room organizing had our highest priority, we had it done first and we have not acted on the laundry, office and walk-in closet yet and are still pursuing other avenues including doing the project ourselves with IKEA products. Custom closet organizing in general is very expensive even for simple bedroom and master closets. A simple walk-in closet organizing cost is between $3,000 and $4,000 in plain white. If it includes doors, glass, drawers, trims, knobs and handles it is even more costly. The owner Steve Dash was a very polite and professional salesman and very pleasant to deal without pressure

I felt that things went well, and under the circumstances about as painless as could be. All choices as to what to keep and what to discard were ultimately mine to make. Elaine made good use of the time. She also started re-organizing my storage and retention as we went on. She worked with good humor and great patience.
