Lonestar Siding & Windows
Very well. We were informed on a regular basis when the work would start and when the supplies dumpster and other items would arrive. Once everything arrived, the Lonestar staff began the process of removing the old siding and replacing it with the new siding. Partly through the process, the new storm doors were installed. All of this took about 10 days. The staff were very attentive to detail and really took pride in their work. Finally, the new gutters were installed. All in all, a job well done

The installation went very quickly, and the new gutter system looks outstanding. There was one glitch - the installation crew neglected to pick up behind themselves, leaving behind them numerous nails (mostly hidden in the grass). However, I emailed the company (a couple of days later when I realized the extent of the problem), and literally within minutes my yard was being checked for nails and I received a formal apology. The customer service response more than made up for the installation crew's forgetfulness. I highly recommend this company

Cisneros Roofing
The slate roof went fast. We were a little worried about the copper. As it was being done I had a coppersmith check the work. He had a few suggestions. Cisneros listened and did all that was suggested and more. We had one long complicated round gutter run. My wife did not like the way it looked so they pulled it down and replaced it the next day. All in all very responsive and great job

Jacob's Ladder did an excellent job for me. I was very satisfied with their work. In addition to the work contracted for, all doors were painted, one of the front columns was replaced, and all new outside lighting was installed, at no extra charge. When my old metal rails did not fit the newly wrapped columns, Justin was able to negotiate vinyl replacement rails for me at a discounted price. A few follow up "punch list" items were handled very professionally, in a very timely manner. The yard, porch, and surrounding area were cleaned at end of every day and thoroughly cleaned at end of job. My overall experience with Jacob's Ladder was a very positive one, and I highly recommend their work

Their is an opportunity for better follow up after contract signing. I was not advised when I would get a scheduling phone call so I had to follow up. During install I had to ask about the screen install over the gutters, they were unaware of the screen install called and then went back up to install, no follow thru to tell me the screens installed and job was complete. Their is an opportunity for better communication pre and post install. I am glad I got the work done and choose this company to do it. Never had used this company it is important that expectations are communicated to build trust

Prompt and easy estimate. On time for the work that was scheduled, and performed the work as estimated. Very professional. The repairs to the sill and fascia boards replaced wood with PVC. Exceeded my expectations. Painting was done well, with very little splash or paint transfer. Better job than I would have been able to do. Be detailed in what services you expect to receive, and the estimate will reflect that. They will do exactly what the estimate says, and do good work. I did not get specific on a couple items that I wished to be painted, and that was my fault. Overall, a very good experience and I would use them again

November 10, 2020 Abraham Lincoln reportedly said that if he had only one hour to chop down a tree, he’d probably take forty minutes to sharpen the ax, and twenty minutes to chop down the tree. Lincoln’s business model reminds me of the thorough planning and careful performance of Cenvar Roofing. The professionalism of their work was only exceeded by its skillful craftsmanship. The foreman/estimator first met at length with me to understand what outcome was expected. I assumed “install some new gutters and downspouts” was a good enough answer, but soon appreciated various options and choices: material, installation, warranty, scheduling, and financing were explained. Upon timely completion, the final project exceeded my expectations, in function and appearance; the total cost was less than my own estimate. Mike Gunderson is great to work with! For our first big home improvement project we took out 5 estimates and researched contractors on Angie's List. The contractors were all very accommodating and gave us comparable quotes. However, I thought from the research here that Mike was the best reviewed and would give us the smoothest experience. I was not disappointed! Although the process was not completely snag-free, it was an easy and positive one. The crew came up and put up the roof, installed the new vents and repaired some damaged wood in one day. Soon the gutter crew was here and installed new gutters and gutter guards. My husband especially was pleased not to have the gutter cleaned any more. By the end of the project, Mike felt like one of the family. On a side note, I was building a loft bed for my daughter that same week and was visiting Home Depot every day. I got to know about half a dozen men and women there pretty well over that week. When they asked me about any future building projects, I replied that I just had a new roof and gutters put on and I spent all my money on that. They asked me who did the work, and were recommending that I should have used their service instead. When I mentioned Professional Home Services, they knew Mike by name and told me that I picked a good guy. I'm happy to add to his good reputation

Hire this guy. He knows what he is doing. I never liked the repair the previous owner did 20 years ago, so I called Allan for help. He sistered 6 joists and fully replaced another 8 joists, and replaced the patio door that was getting harder and harder to open.
