I called Apple Door to repair my garage door. I provided them the days that I would be available. The receptionist called me the day prior to give me a two-hour window of when the repair technician would be at my house and then call the day of the appt to advise me he was in route. He was able to inspect and fix my garage door in about an hour and the repair was reasonable. I will definitely be contacting them again!! Great service

With the additional parts charges it was likely the same cost as having a conventional repair visit. |It was hard to see that I would not have been better off just having called for a conventional repair visit. I give the B grade because I think the offer was misleading. It should have stated that there is NO ADVANTAGE to using the offer if repairs would be required

This was a great experience. Tech was very friendly and they were able to set up an appointment very quickly after we had a spring break. After reviewing the damage they offered three different options to fix at different prices and didn’t try to push us towards any more expensive items. We still ended up doing a full equipment replacement. Love the way the new system looks and can’t get over how quietly it runs. They offered a few more options at the end, but again didn’t push us at all on trying to buy, so we appreciate the honest approach. Will definitely call them first in future for any other needs

By far the best experience we have ever had with something needing repair on our house. CJ had our door fixed the same day it broke. He was friendly, fast, efficient and knew exactly what happened and how to fix our door. He also made adjustments, replaced a bent support piece and lubed our door. One of the springs on my garage door broke over the weekend. I called a couple of places, and happened upon Commonwealth Garage Door on Angie's list. I called them Monday around 11 and was advised they could get to it that day. At about 12:45 someone knocked on the door. At 1:15 the repair was complete. I was very impressed with the speed with which there were able to get out and complete the repair. The service guy was professional and clearly competent. I would absolutely use them again

As a note it is recommended to replace both springs at the same time so if you are looking for a spring repair budget for both. The technician was efficient and had the repair completed quickly

Hire this guy. He knows what he is doing. I never liked the repair the previous owner did 20 years ago, so I called Allan for help. He sistered 6 joists and fully replaced another 8 joists, and replaced the patio door that was getting harder and harder to open. Now the floor is solid, the door opens and closes perfectly, and everything is better than it was. Thank you

James did an great job and really does care about his customers. When he first installed the new door ... he noticed some very minor dents on the inside of 2 of the door panels that I didn't even pick-up on. He pointed them out and told me that he would come out and replace the 2 panels with new ones. The next weekend James came out with the new panels and installed them. I am extremely satisfied with the service I received from Dominion Door and James Heron. I would (and have) recommend them to others for all your garage door needs

The employee, Jorge was very nice and courteous. The problem was my wife and I found his English very hard to understand. We were not able to communicate our thoughts with him as work progressed. He did a very good job and he got a lot of dust our of our ducts. We could see it in the machine he used after the job was completed. My real disappointment is that he didn't take off each vent before blowing air into the duct. The company's plan gets a lot of dust (my vents hadn't been done since new 20 years ago); however, if the each vent is removed, the device that blows air into the duct could be inserted into the duct with obvious increased benefits. That is not how the company does it. I purchased the Angie's list deal. Perhaps if I had the company do the work normally, they would have charged a lot more and removed the vents. I went ahead with the project because of the deal. If the cost would have been 500-600 and they would remove the vents, I'm not sure I would have chosen spending the extra money, so I am pointing out the deficiencies in the process not complaining about the work done for $200

My husband and I are new homeowners, and I accidentally backed into our garage door while backing up, causing one wheel to go off track. A coworker suggested Powhatan Garage doors, as he had gotten great service from them for his house, so I called them up to come out. They were able to get out to my house within a few days (I called on a Thursday, they came out on Monday). The gentleman was very nice and said it was an easy fix, and was done within an hour, even tuned up the garage door and it is so much quieter than it used to be, I can barely hear it open and close while in the house anymore. He also gave me some useful advice about the door. I was so happy that the cost was very reasonable and less than what I was expecting. Highly recommended
