He solved a problem of a window that wasn't quite squared off and did an excellent job installing the blinds. They are the hit of the neighborhood and great looking. This was the easiest part of the entire project of updating the house and went very smoothly

It went great. The only mishap was that the order wasn't actually placed when Vicki thought it was, and I had to wait a few extra weeks for the blinds. I also got a discount because I had more than 10 windows that were being done. They did a fine job installing the blinds. Vicki was sensitive to my wish to have the blinds match the trim paint color as much as possible and to have the headers match the decor of the room. She helped me decide on which product to use on my windows. The blinds look wonderful. I'd gotten estimates from a couple of other places, and they were much more expensive than I paid budget blinds

I was extremely pleased with the service and professionalism delivered by Sunrise Shutters company. They where on time installation was fast and before the job was completed the owner Jamie made a phone call to ensure that we where pleased with the service. I had blinds that needed to be replaced in four rooms and also had black out blinds installed in one. The black out blinds really does block out all light from outside. I also got door shades installed to my front/back doors. I've only seen these type of shades in Iceland. I REALLY LOVE the overall outlook of them as well. Thank you again Sunrise Shutters I will spread the word and definitely use you all in the future for other window projects

After a lot of research and several quotes for our blind project, my husband and I decided to hire Sunrise Shutters because they had fantastic reviews and were the most affordable option (they beat our most expensive quote by more than half!). They were very detail oriented and came out quickly for our estimate and measuring, and the blinds arrived about three weeks after they were ordered and were installed one week after they came in. Installation was quick and done perfectly (all 19 windows were installed in about 75 minutes), and the blinds are high quality and durable. They are more light blocking than any wood or faux-wood blinds I have seen before, and go up and down very smoothly. They also have a lifetime warranty. With all of these positives, it was a no-brainer to go with Sunrise Shutters

The initial contact was very smooth, scheduling an appointment was quick and convenient, and the representative arrived just about when expected. The only complaint I have here is that I was incorrectly told they didn't offer a particular style of shade, when, after speaking with Jamie, it turned out they do. There was a little delay in the responses I received, and some back and forth was required to get my order exactly the way I wanted, but better that than to get something I wasn't happy with. After getting the order just right the blinds and shades took about two weeks to come in, exactly as I was told. The installers ran late on their jobs earlier in the day, so arrived about two hours late, but they did call to let me know about their delay. Once they arrived they were done in a bit less than an hour (about 20 blinds/shades were installed). Overall I'm happy with the outcome, feel the price was reasonable, and would use them again

All went very well. Jamie Miller, president of Sunrise Shutters, arrived at our house promptly (he was, in fact early, but called to see if that was okay), bringing multiple samples with him. We already knew what we wanted: light-blocking, simple pull-down shades to replace our ancient venetian blinds. Jamie immediately suggested perfect solutions for each window. He measured quickly (these are standard size windows) and wrote up an order. We gave him a 50% deposit. He returned in three weeks with another member of his firm - they had all of the old blinds removed and new ones installed within an hour

This company is a top class act. I interviewed five companies before hiring them. They came right out to measure all the windows, they even put up paper blinds on the windows since the home was new and had bare windows. There was no rush or pressure to make decisions. When they were installed all thirty-seven shutters fit exactly. I received a can of Virginia Nuts as a thank you gift. There was plenty of follow up in the form of mailers and phone calls. Yes, they are very expensive. I don't know but it was into the thousands. I would purchase from them all over again

The installers were very professional and competent. The windows were all installed in one day. The windowsill was not as deep as the original windows which meant that my custom blinds in three of my rooms couldn't be used as they stuck out beyond the windowsill. The blinds were all Hunter Douglas and expensive. Homefix paid for the replacement of all the affected blinds even though it meant that they lost money on the deal. I was very impressed that they stood behind their guaranty that if you are not satisfied they would work with you to make it right

We found Lonestar on Angie's List and we were not disappointed. Everything went exceptionally well. We had a lot of weather related delays (very rainy spring/summer this year) which was out of everyone's control, so we got off to a late start. Steve's team was amazing and Greg Paul was exceptional at keeping us in the loop the entire time. The professionalism of this company is one not often found these days. At the end of each day, they totally cleaned up everything, including sweeping the driveway behind the house. (I joked it was cleaner while they were here than it normally is!) You couldn't find a stray nail, piece of trash, or any equipment anywhere! After the windows were installed, they were completely cleaned off and the area around each window vacuumed. I came home from work to find all the windows installed with no clean up necessary. (I had heard horror stories about this process from friends that used other companies.) One of the windows (cherry wood laminate) had a small scratch on it. Steve said he would not install it and ordered a new one. My husband said he had to look hard to find the scratch and was pleased that Steve not only found it, but was proactive in getting it replaced. We had to wait a while on that window and the front door and even then, no money changed hands. Greg meant it when he said we did not pay until we were totally satisfied. The quality of work is excellent. We created a punch list for our "walk around". We had three minor items on our list. Greg had several pages on his! (Including a few handprints on the siding that he wanted them to come back and clean up!) We were very impressed with Greg's work ethic. As he said, it's their name on the sign and he wants it to be right. We had three separate estimates done for this job. One was much cheaper, but when I spoke to several people on their reference list I found a great deal of dissatisfaction. The other company was slightly higher. Robert Tabler did a great job explaining the products they would be using and answered all of my questions. He had samples with him and was able to work up the price while he was there. We did go top of the line on the windows and doors which added to the price as well. We have lived her for 24 years and the house needed a major facelift. We love the new look! I believe in the adage - you get what you pay for. We have learned that over the years the hard way. This is the kind of job where you want it to be the best it can be - Lonestar made that happen. Could not be more pleased

There are instructions for measuring and installing that guide you through the process. It does require some due diligence on the part of the purchaser to know what kind of windows you have and look at the specifications to verify the blinds will work before ordering. Art was wonderful to work with, and we couldn't be happier with the results! He was very helpful in reviewing the various options and making recommendations, and patient as my husband and I disagreed somewhat about what to choose! The blinds were in before we were even ready to have them installed, so he waited a couple of weeks until we had all our painting done. Then he did a wonderful job of installing them and making sure we knew how to operate the different types we chose. They look fantastic the quality is excellent, and the price was very reasonable.
