C & M Landscaping Llc

My husband and I are disabled and needed to have several things fixed in our home The job went extremely well although longer than estimated. That was due to the fact that roof on the shed wasn't properly and correctly installed the first time. When they removed the old roof they found many "short cuts" had been taken when the shed had been built. The roof and door to the shed were properly fixed. All the other things were repaired and we are extremely happy with the results. We have several other things that need to be done and will be using C & M Landscaping LLC again.

Everyone was really nice, but he did bring in a new worker when they came. That worker got a check of mine, and tried to cash it in another city. Other than that, everything was fine. He paid it back to me. I don't really know. I don't know if the price is normal for what I had done. They did a pretty darn good job. I don't know. That check was stolen, and that really bugged me. I would tell them what happened.

PROTECT PAINTERS

Steve Stidham, the Owner of Stidham Enterprises and EXCEL Full Service Painting and Home Repair was our initial and primary contact from estimate to final inspection. It was obvious from the first meeting the goal for him and his team was our total satisfaction, performed under pleasant conditions. Steve's quote was extremely detailed, well thought out, organized clearly, covering every point discussed with a clear understanding of what was expected from each party. We had no hesitation in accepting the very reasonable and fair quote and setting a start date. Everyone showed up on time, with Steve introducing each member of the team. There was no wasted time, everyone knew their job and sequence of events, immediately starting their work. I was so comfortable with Steve's painting team they were like guests in my home rather than hired workers, as many people would treat them. I learned a great deal by simply watching this very choreographed team attack this project with a specific sequence. The colors provided were always shown to us as a patch on the wall insuring we were satisfied with the color match desired. Prior to painting they were detailed to the point of asking and identifying which holes would be filled and left unfilled on the wall. This allowed us to not have to remeasure for specific wall decor again, because they indiscriminately filled all holes without asking. Had they not be courteous enough to ask us first, we would not have even thought of about this or the consequences. What made this such a unique experience for all of us, is their working while I am totally disabled, in a power wheelchair and homebound. They were always ready to assist me as necessary and without my asking. Highly considerate of my challenges, they even allowed me to comfortably sleep when needed; without interruption due to my symptoms and exhaustion, by working in other parts of the house so as not to bother me during that time. This was an excellent experience for my wife and me, even though I am a "tad" of a control freak having to learn to let go without prejudging the results and believing I must jump in and "save the day." It never happened and a refreshing experience it was. Excellent finished job including a very reasonable and fair cost. A Win-Win-Win situation for everyone involved. I openly offered to be a reference for Steve and EXCEL Full Service Painting and Home Repair by email, telephone or visit without any hesitation. I fully support and HIGHLY RECOMMEND his company and multiple services to others. Those services include painting, interior and exterior, trim work, siding, roofing, remodeling, window repair, and plumbing, just to name a few. A very good experience, far exceeding our past experiences and current expectations.

KITCHEN CRAFTERS

We have cringed at telling anyone about this project and we have told no one what company did the renovation. We realize that by holding back our experiences, that someone else may go through the same thing we did. They did not pay attention to what we wanted or what was agreed to. Did not deliver services as contracted. Used subcontractors that we had to pay separately. Every time they came out to perform a job, we had to pay more money. We ended up having to pay unscheduled contractor for work on floor that was supposed to be included. The plumber made a critical error and endangered the structural safety of our house, had to hire structural engineer and have additional repairs. The plumbing was left partially not finished even though a second plumber came in on the job. We felt we were in danger from retaliation by the first plumber involved. Everything cost more than what it was supposed to cost. If we hadn't been on hand inspecting their work as they went, the project results would have been worse. We cannot possibly go into all the details. The designer was very pleasant and responded the best of all the people we were involved with. The requests that we had in planning the kitchen and the complete details weren't listened to even though we went through complete discussions and we provided a detailed notebook on what we wanted. We explained how we worked in the kitchen because we wanted the kitchen to work with us. Details about accessibility for disabled spouse were not listened to and did not happen. Cabinet drawers and a cabinet had to be reordered because it didn't match the rest of the cabinets. In the end, we designed the kitchen and we were presented with choices which we made. A time schedule of all the work to be performed was not provided to us or to the scheduler. People appeared when not in order, and there was confusion. Additionally, the dumpster was replaced when only one or two days of work remained, and so there were expenses for two dumpsters. Good new products left over from the project, that we paid for, were being placed in the dumpster. We told them to bring them back in since we had paid for the products. There was not a project manager on site, particularly the first day to ensure subcontractors were doing as scheduled. The project manager didn't know what was going on and argued with us. She even insulted us on the existing paint color of our living room. Unfortunately, it seemed the owner of the company was not available for consultation because of health reasons. We paid way more money than we were supposed to pay on this project. We will continue to have some relationship with this company as we paid for an extended contract on appliances through the company. We wish we could give a glowing report on this company, but we cannot. We had originally planned on getting our own subcontractors to do this work and wish we had.
