Triangle Home Exteriors Inc

After 20 years, our Masonite siding was on it's death bed so we took the plunge and replaced everything while redesigning the curb appeal of our home. We received 6 estimates, RIck with Triangle Home Exteriors was right in line with 4 others and much below another well-known siding company in the area. Rick was very thorough in his initial evaluation and provided very detailed information about the products. He offered his opinion on the design of the front of the house as we looked to incorporate stone which I very much appreciated in the end as we went with his ideas and the final results are wonderful. The crew arrived on time every morning, the worked diligently while here and cleaned up at the end of every day. The project manager Mike called each morning to give me an update and answer any questions. He was on site frequently and immediately addressed any questions or concerns I had. He was always readily available by cell phone as well. Given the fact that the work was being done in early spring, there were many days that rain interrupted work and Mike always let me know the plan. Overall the siding and stone installation and painting took 2-3 weeks. Rick also ordered a garage door and front door for us. He was very patient with the decision making process as we were very unsure of exactly what we were looking for. In the end, we purchased a woodgrain garage door which was prefinished and Mike and his crew were able to match the stain for the front door and the beadboard in the porch ceiling to the garage door color. The only complication with the project was the subject of light fixtures on either side of the garage door. There were none there to start then after the stone was placed around the garage, we decided we would like them there. Mike had the stone layer come make some changes so that lights could be placed. Then there was another issue with the size of the openings for the size of the lights, so Mike sent the stone layer back out to make more changes. Mike never complained or made any remarks about it despite the fact that we were swaying from the original plan and complicating his workload. He gladly took care of everything. In the end, the price I paid was the exact price that Rick quoted from the beginning. I am always concerned about getting nickeled and dimed on construction projects but that was absolutely not the case with these guys. They are very clear about the pricing and the payment schedule from the start. I will definitely call RIck again for any other exterior home improvements I need done.

To say the completed project turned out well would be an understatement -- it looks fabulous We have a contemporary style house which in our opinion required a somewhat unique treatment. After talking with and getting estimates from several contractors, Otto's Exteriors and Paul Otto in particular was the only one able to give us what we wanted. The siding had to be installed vertically and window/door trim had to be neat and uncluttered..... 1. any rotten siding [cedar] and trim was removed and replaced with filler. 2. window and door trim were fir-ed out 3.. insulation panels were installed over the entire house 4. Alside Charter Oak [gray] siding [solid soffit] was installed vertically 5. all facsia board, rake boards, door and window trim, gable vents were caped with Alside trim coil in midnight blue 6. sofit was covered with Alside solid and vented sofit 7. 5 mulit panel [3 and 4 panels per window] windows were installed 8. Centurion Stone was installed on around doors on front and rear walls from deck to roof line 9. back porch was rescreened, new door installed and painted The entire job took about 2 weeks. The crew, with Denis as crew chief, showed up as expected every day. If they were going to be delayed Denis advised us beforehand. I could not have been more satisfied with their efficiency, work ethic, professionalism, and courtesy. I can say the same for both the stone masons and painters. Any problems or issues that developed were explained to us by Denis and/or Paul as the occured. The area was cleaned every evening before they left. Of course some issues did develope, it's to be expected, in every case a resolution was proposed and put into action immediately. Given the scope of the job and having received quotes for other contractors, we considered the cost of the job to be quite reasonable and seeing the final product has only confirmed that. The job was completed as per the bid.

Overall I was very satisfied with the work that Panoramic performed for us. Blake was nice to work with and I found him to be very knowledgeable with all aspects of hardscaping & landscaping. He was able to answer all of our questions & was able to adjust the work or suggest alternatives when we didn't like certain aspects of the plan. Blake helped us save money on the landscaping portion of the project by reusing & relocating existing landscape plants to more appropriate areas of the yard. The work crew was friendly & cleaned up after themselves well. I was surprised that they didn't start earlier in the day (typical start time was close to if not after 9 AM) but significant, noticeable progress was made every day they were on site. The project took longer than I expected though poor weather and our travel for the Christmas holiday played a role in extending the project. Difficulties in obtaining materials from the stone yard also contributed to the delay. My one complaint would be with regards to responsiveness & punctuality (as indicated in the B & C grades above). Blake was late (in one instance VERY LATE) to several of our scheduled meetings; this caused problems for my wife as her schedule does not have a lot of wiggle room. I also felt that responses to emails or phone calls could have been more prompt in some instances. I think this is indicative that Panoramic has been successful and perhaps needs an office manager or some kind of administrative staff to handle the additional volume of work as Blake seems to handle everything himself. In spite of the responsiveness & punctuality issues I was extremely happy with the finished product. Several neighbors have already stopped by to comment on how nice the patio & walkway look. I bid this job to several other landscape companies and Panoramic had the best price by far. I will definitely use Panoramic for any future landscaping projects.

Let me just say I have been told by friends and co-workers that I can be a pretty picky person and I guess when it comes to my first and probably my last home I think I am. (Have been in our older home for about 4 years and did a lot of remodeling ourselves) I was extremely nervous about how the work/materials I was choosing would turn out and kept requesting Rick give me different estimates and a few different samples. Not once did he act like anything I was asking was bothersome, he was professional, prompt and courteous with everything presented in writing. The morning the job began I felt like I was on an episode of extreme home makeover because Rick had lined everything up so plenty of people were arriving at my home (workers, material delivery, dumpster delivery, port a potty, etc...) We (my husband and I) meet his teams, Mike (his great foreman) and was walked around the house going over details of the job again prior to starting. I can honestly say everything went pretty smoothly and quickly (less than 2 wks to complete thanks to the hard work his talented teams put in) Each day everything was cleaned up and supplies put away/covered. The days we had to work we would receive a phone call from Mike with details of progress made or details of what was scheduled for the next day. Sometimes I would leave lists for Mike of small things I may have noticed and not only did he complete the list, he would add anything he noticed to it. I am so happy we found Rick and his team and are so happy with the results. I really wanted to have that WOW factor when my home was completed and they definitely helped us accomplish that. The attention to detail was great--I wasn't expecting to have the brick step to my porch covered with the stone veneer ( I figured they would just go around it) but not only did they tie it in with the stone veneer, they also installed a flagstone to the top beautifully. From painting my ugly meter box to putting my blinds back up in my house, what can I say? My porches turned out great as well- the choice deck one looks like something out of a magazine and I love the way they constructed square rails on the treated lumber one and closed in the steps. If your like me, you have probably heard a lot of horror stories from people who have paid good money to have work performed but the work fell short or workers did not show up. I can assure you this is not the case with this company!!!!! I can not thank them enough for making my vision of my dream home come to life. They are not a cut corners type of company they are a do it right details matter type company that you can trust your home to and I wish them a prosperous future :)
