Our well stopped working and we called several places to get quotes. Our quotes ranged from $800 to $2500 for replacing the pump ONLY. I found out the retail price of a well pump was approx. $250 to $300 so $2500 for replacing a pump is very outrageous. Anyway, Harold, from Ace Pump, was very nice

we opted not to go with them, mostly over the 10 days it took to provide us a quote after the site visit. They were slightly more than the quote we chose, but that provider then later claimed errors they made in the quoting process and tried to increase the bill by a large amount. wish we had gone

What do customers in Raleigh say about Sewage Ejector Pump Installation?

About one year ago, our sewage pump stopped working and Brown Brothers came out and cleaned it out. They told us that we needed to replace the unit (in the future) because it didn't have a fail-safe on it and although it was clogged, it kept running and was very hot. So, in November, I scheduled a day for Brown Brothers to come out to replace the unit and took off of work. Only, once they got there, they said we shouldn't replace the unit because it was running fine and they had no clue what I was talking about when I mentioned the "fail safe." Instead, they prepared a written replacement quote a week later. When we scheduled the appointment, we asked repeatedly if they were going to replace it when we had our appointment or if they needed to come and get a model number to order the part. We were assured that they would do the work. So, I took the whole day off for nothing. Before the plumber left, I mentioned that our garbage disposal was backing up and the plumber took a plunger to it and charged us $120.00. And to make matters worse, it never fixed anything at all. So, 2 days ago, our sewage pump died which meant the sewage was backing up into our house. We called the Brown Brothers evening line and they told us to call back in the morning. So we called at 8am and we were told that when they had a plumber available, they'd give us a call. We had no idea when that would be. An hour? The next day? We waited until 12pm and called another plumber who said they would have someone there in 30 minutes. I called Brown Brothers back to tell them nevermind and was told again that they had planned to call when someone was available - probably after lunch. I had a bathtub full of sewage and I'm supposed to wait 18 hours for service? Why even have an on-call person?
