The initial service was completed by Eco Irrigation on July 9, but when I got the invoice from Eco Irrigation, the charges were much higher (~50+%) than we had previously agreed. When I protested, Eco Irrigation claimed their charges were reasonable. Eco Irrigation claimed the longer driving distance from Raleigh to my house and a previously unmentioned charge for testing my back flow preventer led to a higher charge. None of these charges were mentioned by Eco Irrigation when I agreed to have them repair my irrigation system. At this point, I started the complaint resolution process through Angie's List. Meanwhile, my irrigation back flow preventer began leaking badly. The only service that had been done was by Eco Irrigation. The owner of Eco Irrigation contacted me and we agreed to a lower total charge for the initial service. We also agreed Eco Irrigation would return and service/repair my irrigation back flow preventer at the expense of Eco Irrigation. Eco Irrigation returned and made a thorough inspection and tested my back flow preventer and ensured it was working properly on July 30. Apparently a small amount of dirt had entered the valve portion of the back flow preventer when the initial service was completed on July 9. Eco Irrigation proactively contacted me to resolve my complaint(s), they were prompt, polite, and professional through-out. I especially appreciated the fact that Eco Irrigation took the time to carefully explain their work and to show me what they were doing during their service visit on July 30. My irrigation system is now working properly. Based on this experience, I will consider calling Eco Irrigation for future service, if needed.
