NEW VISION INTERIORS, LLC

What started with a small drywall project turned into an amazing relationship with a contractor we've turned to for project after project, year after year. Steve does the majority of the work himself, which leads to consistent top-notch work product and unsurpassed customer service. Unlike many other contractors, you will never have to chase him down and beg him to come back and work on your half-finished project. When Steve takes a job, he works that job until it's done. Additionally, Steve is a family man and it shows. Never before have I had a contractor offer to stop cutting tile to help my wife bring in groceries from the car. He cares about people and their projects. We cannot imagine hiring another contractor for any work on our house. May 2014 - We just bought our new ranch home and it needed a lot of work. After our recommended drywall contractor was too busy, we received a referral to Steve of New Vision Interiors. Steve was also busy, but he was willing to come work on our house after 5 pm for several nights to squeeze in drywall work that we needed in order for us to be able to move into our new home. The painters we had hired decided to start using Steve instead of the prior "recommended" drywaller because they were so impressed with the quality of his work. Steve's work was fantastic, as he was able to seamlessly match texture to existing drywall, which is challenging to do. Ask Steve about "quiet rock" drywall and "rock wool" insulation for sound deadening - it was a great improvement to our house. As we were getting to know Steve through this project, he mentioned he did kitchen and bath remodels. Boy did our house need it! October 2014 - We fired our smooth-talking kitchen remodeler/designer and hired Steve for a major kitchen remodel. We removed a drop ceiling (1980s, you were so cruel!) and changed the kitchen layout. The kitchen is literally in the middle of the house and the ultimate gathering place so it was important to us to get everything exactly right. Steve worked with us on design options and was extremely easy to collaborate with. We knew exactly what we wanted in some areas, and we had no clue what we wanted in other areas of the kitchen remodel. Everything was custom and Steve patiently walked us through the entire process. He is excellent about always being in communication with us. On the kitchen remodel, Steve built a walk-in pantry where none existed, put in cherry cabinets (he uses a great subcontractor for this work), granite, wood flooring, new lighting, Jenn-Aire appliances (the induction cooktop is awesome), downdraft, a new island with prep sink, and painstakingly cut glass tile backsplash. We receive compliments from literally everyone who sees our kitchen, which you can't help but see the moment you walk in our house. We couldn’t have been more pleased and we knew that the next time we needed a contractor, we would be calling on Steve. July 2015 - I decided to replace the ancient vinyl flooring in a bathroom and discovered the toilet had been leaking slowly for quite some time. The damage ran across the bathroom from under the vanity to the tub. This was not a planned remodel, all I wanted to do was replace the floor! However, we decided that since we had to pull so much out of the bathroom to repair the damage, we would just go ahead and do a full remodel - the bathroom needed it anyway. So we called Steve. He came over to the house within days to review the project. He fit us into his schedule and got to work, starting with repairing the damaged subfloor. Once that was done, he again helped with design. For example, we had the option of putting in a standard length tub or a larger tub to fill the bigger space we had. We spent the relatively few extra dollars and ended up with a much more pleasing look, with the tub fully centered in the room and tile on all three walls that looks "right." Steve isn’t pushy and doesn’t try to upsell products just to make more money or prolong a project; instead, he makes design suggestions and will recommend design tweaks where it makes sense. We put in custom cabinets (that my wife actually designed), new lighting, replaced that darn leaky toilet, and added crown moulding. Once again, we are very impressed with the quality of Steve’s work. February 2016 - We are currently in the middle of a laundry/mudroom and bathroom remodel with Steve. We decided what we wanted to do, then called Steve to simply quote the work and tell us when he could start. We no longer bother with getting additional bids from other contractors, because we don't want anyone else doing the work AND we know Steve does his work at very reasonable prices. For this project, Steve relocated a wall for us - doubling the size of our laundry/mudroom and decreasing the size of a guest bathroom. Steve did the demo, more subfloor work, rough carpentry, and worked very hard to create a layout of a custom size/dimension neo-angle corner shower. We will have the same cabinet maker put in the cabinets, including bench seating and beadboard in the mudroom. Like the previous work, this project is coming together beautifully and we are so excited to have a beautiful and highly functional new laundry/mudroom and guest bathroom. Upcoming projects - Steve will be the first and only person we call for upcoming projects. We plan to explore his creativity with a massive master bedroom addition. You will be extremely happy if you have Steve work on your project, so I highly recommend you give him a call.

Cunningham Custom Remodels
5.0
This is not a review for a single remodel project. In fact we’ve used the Cunningham Remodel to help with a number of projects. And, to the project - every single opportunity we’ve had to work with them has been filled with integrity and the highest quality. I can’t speak highly enough for the work of The Cunningham team. The approach they bring to their work is a rare find in an industry filled with underwhelming performers. We recently remodeled bathroom in our home so my mother could move in with us. She’s a woman that lives with disabilities. We needed a bathroom that would allow her to take care of herself, in spite of the fact that she lives most of her life in a wheelchair. The Cunningham Team did such a great job making the bathroom accessible, and doing in a timely manner. I highly recommend and 100% endorse all of their quality and craftsmanship.

IDS Remodeling Inc

I don’t know what we would have done without Darcy and IDS Remodeling. In early 2013 we hired a contractor who had previously done the external renovation of our home to do a complete interior renovation. Within about four months it became apparent that this contractor did not have the skills needed to complete this renovation. Not only was he two months behind on a project he estimated would take four months, but phases of the project were being continually revised, the contractor made significant design decisions without consulting us, and the quality of the workmanship was extremely poor. A new custom kitchen was installed with such major errors that it had to be completely demolished. A completely new trim package and a new set of oak stairs had to be pulled and replaced. Our remodel was a complete disaster. We fired this contractor and, after interviewing five contractors experienced in interior renovation work, we selected IDS Remodeling as the replacement contractor on the job. Darcy and his son, Aaron, came in with a very comprehensive plan to complete the renovation of our home in an acceptable time frame and at a reasonable cost. Their plan not only encompassed the remediation of the shoddy work performed by the initial contractor, but included many design suggestions that improved the quality of the renovation. Above all, the one thing that impressed us the most was the fact that Darcy and Aaron treated this project as if it were the renovation of their own homes. Without a doubt we would strongly recommend IDS Renovation if you are considering the renovation of your home. We would not hesitate to call them again for any future renovation work we had in mind.

Let's Remodel
5.0
We hired Let's Remodel to do a simultaneous remodel of two of our bathrooms. This was our first time working with a design/build company and to say we were nervous would be an understatement. It turns out we had nothing to worry about. Pavel and Paulina, the owners, were so supportive of our vision and helped turn our pile of inspiration photos into a workable design. The office staff, Lauren and Micaela, were always easy to reach if we had questions or requests. The subcontractors were all punctual and hard working. The work space was always tided up at the end of the day. If we had any questions or concerns they were dealt with in a timely fashion. I feel like we need to give special recognition to Igor, our tile installer. We had asked for fairly complex tile designs for both bathrooms and Igor nailed it! His meticulous attention to detail and "nose to the grindstone" work ethic were nothing short of astounding. If you're considering a project that calls for top notch tile work you can't go wrong with Let's Remodel. From the first day of demo to the final paint touch ups, our project took just shy of nine months. Given the scale of the job and the Covid factor this felt completely reasonable. The budgeting was straight forward and accurate. Our final total was with about a thousand dollars of the original estimate. The online portal was extremely helpful for progress tracking. We could check on everything from work scheduling to fixture selections to reviewing our itemized invoice. We could even make payments via wire transfer. To sum up, our experience with Let's Remodel and their whole staff was beyond our expectation. If you are looking for a design/build firm to help you with a complex remodel project in your home I can not recommend them enough.

Isiah & Mike did a great job on our bathroom remodel. We couldn’t be happier with the tile work they did. Tile work is tedious and takes skills & patience. It was easy to have them in our house for several days straight. They were precise with the tile and grout and very courteous to work with. I have already recommended them to friends that need their bathroom or kitchen redone.

We bought the tub, fixtures, and tile, based on Ron's expert counsel. The work was done on time, to schedule, smoothly, beautifully and with the friendliness of him and his subcontractors. Ron is a gentle, professional craftsperson who hires the best. We actually enjoyed having them here! Imagine enjoying a remodel experience. We have now engaged him to do a fireplace remodel and we can't wait to get started.

Everyone that I spoke with and worked with was absolutely wonderful. The work done was phenomenal, and we couldn't be any happier. They kept the area clean, organized, and minimized dust in other areas. As important as the level of workmanship, the customer service and interactions were top notch. Quick responses to questions, and every single person showed up on the day and time they said they'd be there. No worries about being ghosted mid-project here! Thanks guys!

I have been super impressed! Artistic Dzine has done great work and is super creative especially in an old house. He heard what I wanted and brought great ideas for how to keep our bathroom simple and be classy and unique. With my project there has been no problem he hasn't figured out and he's gone above and beyond. He is prompt, super pleasant to work with, very kind and respectful with me and his team. He does fabulous work! Additional:Michelle, collaborating with D, was fantastic in guiding us through choosing fixtures, tiles, flooring, a new tub and toilet for our remodel. She listened to what we thought we liked and brought options and suggested some ideas we hadn't considered. Because of her guidance through this process, we're even more thrilled with the results. She made something super stressful so much more manageable.

American Construction and Remodeling did a wonderful job with my bathroom remodel. Dennis, the owner, was very communicative from start to finish. He was prompt and on time to inspect the bathroom, provide a quote, and get the job started and finished. The crew was very respectful, positive, and made a point to keep things tidy each day. Whenever an aesthetic decision was needed, the crew made sure I was involved. It was clear that my happiness with the end product was of importance to them, which I greatly appreciated. We have been using our bathroom for a little over a month now and everything works great!

American Construction & Remodeling did a wonderful job with my bathroom. The owner, Dennis, was very communicative throughout the entire process. Dennis and his team made sure to consult with me on aesthetic decisions and made it known that my happiness with the project was a high priority for them. At the end of each day, they were happy to give me a rundown of what had been done that day and what the plan was for the next day. The project took a bit longer than originally projected, however, I am very pleased with the quality of the job as well as the positivity and respectfulness of the crew.

Recent Review: This is the second time I have used Creative Tile and Remodel - the first being a kitchen remodel - and they did an excellent job then and they did another excellent job this timeon my bathroom. We had a tub replaced with a walk-in shower with glass barn doors and the finished work is top notch. Norby is fantastic to work with and never got annoyed with my many questions I had about the process. Drywallers were top notch as was Sam the electrician. Tibor’s Subs really do great work and they always cleaned up after themselves. As with any remodel project sometimes the house expected can happen but Tibor ALWAYS will do his best to correct any mistakes or work with you on last minute changes. Bottom line is Tibor and his crew do excellent work, are easy to work with and take pride in and heir work. I highly recommend this company and will not hesitate to use them again in the future. Recent Review: Hello. You might be here because you’re searching for a reliable, skilled, organized, professional, & friendly company to complete your project on time, on budget, & as close to perfect quality as possible. The LRS team fits this description. Fantastic follow-up & follow-through; the process had its challenges (expect these on any job), but LRS’ committment, integrity & listening to the client lessened the anxiety for us. We love our new kitchen! With that said 😊, even if you have a trustworthy manager on your project, you must do your homework too! Be present for every detail (your money, your time): read your contract, be on site to check the work, the timeline, the codes, the products, & learn what is reasonable & unreasonable before, during & after your project. Especially if you don’t have the design &/or building skills, don’t hesitate to pause the process & ASK the team for guidance. We did with LRS & got the outcome we hoped for! Cheers to the entire LRS team: Jon, Holly, Stacey, Josh, Grant, Assistants on site whose names I forgot (sorry), Mark, Vince, Mat, Amanda, James & Gino. Honestly a pleasure to have worked with everyone & to sign the closeout check today!

Recent Review: Of the three estimates we received, Artistic Stone Design was the clear choice for us from the beginning. Alex and Marina are prompt, professional, very knowledgeable/creative and in general, wonderful to work with. Always prompt with responses, calm and in control of the details which was very important to me. I emailed or texted several times late in the evening not expecting a response until the next day but would get a reply within minutes. All those characteristics were evident and the job hadn't even started yet! The demo of the entire bathroom was completed in two days and everything was swept up, stacked neatly and put away at the end of the day - almost like he hadn't even been there! The tile installer (who also handled the demo) is truly a craftsman who takes great pride in his work and that shows! It looks fantastic! Literally cannot find a tile that was not placed perfectly. Grout lines match up around corners so the overall look is clean and smooth. The final piece was the quartz counter tops - beautifully fabricated and also installed cleanly and efficiently. Every employee of Artistic Stone Design that we dealt with was polite and professional, prompt and efficient. In closing, I recommend Artistic Stone Design/Alex and Marina 110% - don't hesitate to go with them for your project! I would hire them again with no hesitation and hope to in the near future.

Recent Review: Scott and Erin were just wonderful. Our project was completed during COVID and they did an amazing job of making sure everything was done safely. The initial design process was great - we made so many changes along the way and Erin was so helpful and incredibly patient as we kept changing our minds, reducing costs, etc. The actual demolition and construction went very well, with only slight delays, and we couldn't be happier with our GORGEOUS new bathroom, remodeled guest bath, refinished entry, stairwell, hallway and master floors, and brand new master closet. I also want to applaud Erin and Scott's great communication! I can't recommend Mosaik highly enough.

Recent Review: The overall experience was amazing! Grant, the owner, gave me about three different measuring to choose from and we could mix and match to get it exactly the way I wanted it which was very helpful. It was also very important for him to ask me a lengthy questions on the style of cook that I was and how I maneuver around the kitchen (as well as how many people typically use the kitchen) to help him construct the layout. When production started, it was exceptionally clean for my family as we still had to function in the house. They set us up to have a pseudo-kitchen in our foyer while the major area was being constructed so our life could carry on. The people that were in our home were incredibly respectful and clean as well. The best part was, once they had my cabinets built, they set up a 'mock kitchen' for me in their place of business that I could actually walk through and feel what the space would be like to scale before they executed it. Every detail, every nook and cranny, became a useful space for something. Everything was truly customized - "creative" is absolutely what they are! I'd give them an A+++ if I could!

Recent Review: Philippe remodeled 3 bathrooms in our home and we are delighted with the final results. Philippe demonstrated wonderful workmanship in the tiling of the shower and tub areas. The hickory vanities are beautiful as are the quartz countertops. The flooring looks great and we love the barn door style shower doors. Philippe left the work areas clean and orderly each evening and placed protective cloths over carpeted areas in the house to keep them free of debris during his work day. We were happy with all of his subs and the quality of their workmanship. This is our first major remodel and working with Philippe has been a positive experience. We are very pleased with our beautiful bathrooms!

Recent Review: We would highly recommend Superior Building Concepts for your next project. After many over priced quotes, underpriced quotes with a wink and a nod to do this small job without permit, or contractors that stopped by to provide a quote that we never heard from again we received a referral from Angie's list for Superior Building Construction. Stan came by, gave us a reasonable quote then followed up with a very professional and complete contract. We signed with Superior and were pleasantly surprised with the continued professionalism. We received compete drawings with architectural choices. After our selection, it was put through the permit process. At each point we received proper communication from Stan. Once construction began, Stan was there managing the subcontractors and working alongside. We were delighted with each subcontractor Stan brought on board. They were all punctual, courteous and cleaned up everything after their respective jobs were complete. With Covid supply shortages you can imagine some of the issues that arose, but with each roadblock Stan communicated with us and we worked out satisfactory work arounds. This remodel was a pleasant experience and Stan and his team made the difference. You can be confident in your project if you select Superior Building Concepts.

Recent Review: Where to start...I bought my house because it was a great value, in a great location with everything I wanted and needed. Everything except the main bathroom. I won't call it a master bathroom because that would imply space, and some masterful about it. None of that held true. The move was from the East Coast, by car hauling a small utility trailer and 3 dogs. Part of the MUST haves upon arrival was caulk. Yes. Long story short, that mini bathroom has 2 entrances right across from each other with access from hallways. I looked for months for inspiration on how I could possible strip it down and make it a kick *** remodel. In May I sent a few feelers out for local remodel bathroom contractors. Sent pictures of my disaster. Rachel, called me back stat and we talked on the phone about the project. That convo was definitely intriguing enough to follow up with a visit to the showroom. I spent 2 hours there and we had a design. And boy/girl was that a kick *** looking concept. I wanted minimalist, flow, modern with a touch of woodsy. I got just that. Getting through the estimate process was fairly painless since I got a lot of wiggle room to hire my own electrician and door artisan (using reclaimed wood from NW Reclaim), shower rod system and faucets. The work started on time within the time frame I needed. Overall the bathroom was done in 4 weeks. The entire team is great but I want to give a special shout out to Igor, the demo, framing, tile, drywall, man who does 90% of the labor, because he was precise, patient, kind and all around professional. I say kind because I experienced a life ending emergency with my senior dog and he was there, helped, and went right back to his job. Very humble, efficient and hard working. Never left a mess. I love my bathroom and can't wait to match my kitchen next year. Definitely recommending Let's remodel! Couple of comments about the pictures here below. #1: Also part of the initial moving convoy was my dog's shower curtain. Pavel recommended I get glass panels on the side of the shower but I wanted my dog's shower curtain over any design consideration. As part of the shower curtain install, I wanted the rounded double rod so I can attach my towel to the outer row. No point in crowding the already small space with more hardware, am I right? Works great by the way (not shown on pic). So say hello to Gypsy on the curtain (she is the one that passed away - see ref here above). #2: The door frame still needs to be finished (NOT Let's Remodel's responsibility. Pavel installed the door casing, frame and trim from wood I chose and provided. The door frame was all crooked to begin with so Pavel fixed it all. That part of the project should be finished this weekend by Dale from Tonsilvania Designs in Portland, who made the 2 barn doors) #3: I refuse to post the before pictures as my sanity for buying this house might be challenged. That and who wants to remember the creepy ugly version? No one. You are welcome ;-)
