T H E Remodel Group
I worked with Steve on a home that will be featured in the Tour of Remodeled Homes. Steve is the chairman of the Professional Remodeler's Organization and he is really involved in the community. He is really easy to work with, has a super personality, knows the business inside and out, provides an excellent service and delivers exactly as promised. I give THE Remodel Group my highest recommendation

We live in a mobile home and the seams were busting and there was dry rot on the bottom and he put caulking around the seams, skylights, windows, etc. He put all waterproof cedar boards around the bottom of the house so it wouldn't happen again. He pressure washed our home, our driveway, and our roof. He's going to replace our roof later in the summer. We're going to have him replace the tile, cabinets, and countertops in the kitchen and bathroom as well. He's also going to paint the outside of the home! I've never seen two people work so hard in my life! I gave each of them a $50.00 bonus! They were so fast and so good. It was amazing! The pricing was better than reasonable as well

Wonderman Remodeling & Handyman Services
About 7 years ago I did my own home remodel and I wish I had used Angie's List and Wonderman for may remodel. My experience for my own remodel was a nightmare and nothing like what I experienced with this company. They were always professional, and kept me informed at all times. They did little extras that just made the newly remodeled home just shine. This home is now being rented to a family that I know, and they are so happy with everything. I feel very lucky to have found Wonderman Remodeling & Handyman Services. If I need anything done at my house big or small I know who to call

For the scope and size of our project, this remodel with Let's Remodel went exceedingly well. Everything was built above and beyond our expectations for quality. We fully remodeled a kitchen, removed a load bearing wall, remodeled two bathrooms to include floor heat, and built and exterior mudroom with floor heat as an addition. Pavel and Polina from Let's Remodel have an excellent eye for detail, and were incredibly helpful in offering suggestions and advice before and throughout our project. And we know all the necessary permits and documentation was properly filed with the city for our project, which is very comforting. Like any big remodel on an old craftsman style home, we did encounter some unexpected issues, but the Let's Remodel crew was always quick to respond with multiple options that kept us moving forward on track with timing and budget. We are very please with our new remodeled home, and look forward to enjoying it for years to come. I would certainly recommend Let's Remodel for any home project

JAW Construction Inc
John was fantastic and the consummate professional. He answered my initial inquiry quickly and was able to do my little job just a few days later. John arrived when he said he would, calling first to let me know he was on his way. Not everyone does that. When he arrived he not only hung my tapestry beautifully but did a few little extra things I was having trouble accomplishing on my own. For a man who usually spends his time remodeling homes, and doing much more extensive work, he found the time to help me with small repairs. He was great to work with and I highly recommend him to anyone who needs anything from the little job like mine to a redone kitchen, bath or home remodel. He was able to recommend a plumber and painters too! I am so happy with he was able to do for me

ECC Remodeling & Construction LLC
We interviewed, researched and did due diligence on 8 contractors. Ultimately, ECC was not the cheapest bid we got from the contractors we solicited quotes from, neither were they the most expensive. Bruce Pomazal, owner and project manager was very helpful in showing us where we could save money and why it was important. ECC came in around the same cost as other construction firms we contacted but it was because of Bruce's commitment to help us stay within our budget, his references from other work and how we "felt" about him and his company's abilities that we decided to go with ECC. Initially we worked with a designer (Kryston Design) that ECC has worked with in the past to come up with the layout and architecture of the remodel we wanted. This process took quite a bit of time but in the end, we felt, it was worth the time and effort. Being that this was a major remodel we anticipated it would take several months, in the end, it took 5 and a half months to complete. While the work could have been done a little bit sooner, most of the delays were due to unforeseen things like, an unexpected, improperly decommissioned septic tank in the backyard and inspection times by the city of Tigard. Communication about the ongoing project was good but could have been, at least initially, better. Once we had a meeting with Bruce to discuss some of our frustrations with the lack of communication, things improved. While ECC was the contractor for the work, ultimately, it was our responsibility to oversee the details involved in the work. In hindsight we would have "walked" the measurements we had specified in the plans and been more proactive in some of the oversight of the construction. An example being the canned lighting in the kitchen. The lighting was put in before the kitchen cabinetry and the measurements were off. The lighting had to be removed and repositioned. To ECC's credit, they were very proactive in making sure everything was corrected and to our liking. As with any big project, documentation is important. Most of our communications with ECC were in writing. This was important in understanding what expectations were and what needed to get done. Bruce, along with his onsite manager, Wally, met us at the house weekly to go over the progress of the construction and to document anything that needed to be addressed by ECC or by us, the homeowner. They were also very accommodating in any changes that we had along the way. However, when doing a project such as this it is important to remember, contractors "live" for change orders and they can get owners way off budget. While we had a few change orders, ultimately we were, with the assistance from Bruce and Wally, ever mindful of any changes to the original plans and kept them to a minimum. Contractors will do whatever you want done...for a price. We made a commitment, from the start, to put into the contract everything we could anticipate needing to be done so that we did not have to have too many change orders. Overall, we are quite pleased with the attentiveness that ECC gave to our project and we love the final product. Keeping with the aesthetics of the original design, we were quite pleased with the look and feel of the house on completion. Having heard the many horror stories of construction and contractors, we are quite happy that, in the end, we had few if any "issues" and have a well remodeled home. If we ever need any other construction done to our home ECC will be the first, and possibly only, contractor we call

PRECISION HOMES & REMODELING
Single women homeowners beware! I'll never trust Angie's List again. I thought I did my homework on references and ratings but it's personal references only from here on out for me! While they may seem responsive and communicate with you at first, they really don't listen to you on the details and they think you have a defective girl-brain if you suggest that there are quality issues with their work. There is zero proactive communication and only when prompted will you get an email or txt response while they are sitting in the office. The GC only came to my home maybe once per week even after I expressed that there are workmanship problems, unprofessionalism of the onsite crew, and security concerns. They apologized and promised things would be handled differently going forward but nothing changed. I had to request that the crew and subs clean up after themselves, request that large piles of construction debris be removed from my property on a regular basis, request that food waste not be dropped in my yard where my dogs roam (including chicken bones!), and request that hazardous materials (like razor blades) not be dropped in my gardens after several instances of all of these scenarios during the 4-month project. Oh and there was no attempts to protect my personal belongings as they worked (like plastic sheeting on furniture or below where they were cutting into drywall or ceilings). The project was exhausting to live through and when I had the gall to question some extra charges on my final invoice and why these items were either higher than quoted or not included in the original project plan, they refused to speak to me despite several attempts to communicate and just threatened via email to put a lien on my property if I didn't pay up. On top of all these issues, the finish work is not holding up like it should. I have hardwood floors that were not sealed properly, an HVAC duct that doesn't have air flowing in the new addition, a dryer vent that was never moved to the outside wall, electrical issues, multiple plumbing issues (fixtures not installed right, test plugs not removed resulting in overflows), door hardware not installed right, the refinished claw foot tub porcelain is streaked near the drain -- and this is just within weeks of the "completion" of the project! I could go on and on about the unprofessional experience I had with this contractor since this is just the tip of the iceberg and I'm trying to keep it classy here. I ended up filing an official complaint with the Oregon CCB which was accepted, mediated and settled recently, but I'm on the hook for getting all of the above fixes (and more) done when I thought by hiring a contractor, I could sit back and enjoy my remodeled home. Needless to say, these guys do NOT deserve an "A rating" in my book
We had our bathroom remodel done by Hardline Design and I could not be happier! They were all very helpful, professional and available for any and all our questions we had. We feel Adam, Chris and Tim went above and beyond the scope of their quote for the project. It was a pleasure working with them and we highly recommend this company
Brad has become a part of our family! He is such a hard worker and a joy to have around. He communicated what his plans were and executed accordingly, always with positivity and knowledge. Brad has been doing this type of work since a kid helping his dad, so he’s seen it all and done it all! I will hire him again and again, for every project I can! I highly recommend Brad/Ridgeback Constructio

Cutting Edge was hired by our contractor to build custom cabinets for our kitchen remodel. The quality of the cabinets is excellent and a very professional job of hanging the cabinets by Viktor. Sadly, i cannot say the same for the installation of the hardware and final positioning of the cabinet door. Basically, it will need to be done again. There are huge gaps between the door, little effort to clean up , and the employee ruined a series of plants in our driveways
I have very good experience with him. He was very helpful in my planning stage, and as we went along there are always some unexpected thing and surprises, and he was very helpful in resolving questions that came up along the way. He's not someone that contract with you and sends someone else to do the work. He is personally involved and that really does make a difference
Their quality of work is one of the best. They are very meticulous and makes sure it gets done right. I feel very comfortable with all the workers and the owner Chris is especially a very honest and lovable guy. He is one of the few honest contractors out there and knows how to fix practically anything or knows someone who can. My dad’s a retired architect and work foreman and even he approved of the quality of work. You get what you pay for so this company is definitely not the cheapest you’ll find but if you want quality beautiful work by very trustworthy people, these are your guys. One thing to note is they charge by the hour not job so make sure not to chit chat with them while they are working. If you let them be, their speed of work is incredibly fast and the price ends up being the same if not better than what some contractors might charge
THEY HAD QUITE A FEW OPTIONS AND SOME QUALITY PRODUCTS. THE PERSON INSTALLING DID A WONDERFUL JOB MAKING SURE EVERYTHING FIT AND LOOKED PERFECTLY. THEY REPLACED A COUPLE OF THE DOORS THAT WERE FLAWED WITHOUT ANY TROUBLE. THE PRICE JUST ENDED UP MORE THAN THEY ORIGINALLY BID US.
I found Marshall Construction very polite, on time and quick with doing the home repairs so that my home could close on time. The cost was very acceptable and their workmanship was excellent. I am hoping to have an additon built in the near future at which time I will definatly call Marshall Construction. Both Phil and Jeremiah seemed to be very experianced and were able to share some really good ideas for remodeling in the future. Very Happy! Thank you, Step
Kelman provided a detailed quote. Arrived on time at the negotiated appointment. Worked independently caring about cleanliness along the way. Workmanship was excellent and all tools and materials were provided. Did an excellent job of explaining the plan and how it was executed. Followed up with an invoice billing
Jamie is the owner and he works on his own. He does fabulous work at and is very reasonable. He tore out everything in the kitchen, installed the cabinets, hooked up all the new appliances and did some other work on the door and locks. He is so nice that I want to adopt him.

Matt Hurtado, the owner of Renew-it arrived at approximately 9:30 and did all of the work and completed about 4:30 the same day. The work when completed looked outstanding. I have not used the tubs and probably wont for a couple of more months. I will update this work and how it holds up at a later date. I was very pleased with the work and would do it again if needed.
